Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty and placements. Do not recommend MCA.

Placements: Before COVID, the placements were good. But ever since the management has changed, the placement scenario is quite bad. Technical companies prefer only B.Tech students and MCA students do not get placed. In my senior batch, only 10 students were placed and in mine to date, only 1.

Review of Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements. The mechanical is a core branch. Many IT companies visit our college to recruit students. Our college doesn't provide good internship opportunities. The off-campus placements are better.

Moderately satisfied because of environment.

Placements: Students getting placements on campus is relatively low so no matter of average and the highest package even if someone gets placed average is 3LPA, the highest being around 15LPA. Mass recruiters come about 35 percent of students got good internships and all.

The college is moderately good but I am not absolutely satisfied.

Placements: Around 35% of students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The major recruiting company is TCS. Students got good internships and many roles are offered in a lot of courses. Mostly, the students got internships in local companies, and those who are good in good companies outside the campus.

The college needs a lot of improvement in each & every area from faculty to placements.

Placements: No company for mechanical engineering, hardly 2-3 student got placed from a batch of 120 students, waste of money and time, will never recommend anyone in my life for this college, don't want to ruin there career also. Never take admission in this college.

The infrastructure is good, but dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: No company has visited our college to offer placements last year. Therefore, the students work hard on their own to get placed. They get placed in off-campus drives. At least, we have some hope to get placed through off-campus drives in some companies. Our batch students got opportunities to work in various companies.

I’m not satisfied with the college, and 50% contribution is because of bullying university norms.

Placements: Average placements are done via college. It all depends on your efforts that you have put to get a job by distinguishing yourself from others and this could be done through hard work done at the right place and at the right time and submitted to the right person

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and poor placements.

Placements: The Placements of our college are not really good now as they were in the past years. Only around 70% of the students got placed in 2017. the highest, the lowest and average package offered was 7.5, 1.5 and 2 LPA. Companies that visited the campus are Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Flipkart etc. Roles offered were Software Developer, Software Tester, Business Analyst etc. Around 60% got internship from college. Yes, there is a placement cell in the college.

The college is good enough but sometimes it lacks.

Placements: The placement was not up to the mark although many students were placed in the different companies in IT sector, but it was quite difficult for the mechanical engineers to get placed. In our field of mechanical engineering, the student tries to work hard to get placed, and some company became spam after the placement.

Dissatisfied as the faculty is not knowledgeable and there are poor placements.

Placements: Despite the fact that we are from engineering block, the institute calls for sales and marketing companies. The management pushes the students to sit in it, and luckily few of us get selected in 10k per month paying companies. They post that on their social media site and mega posters on the wall of the institute as 100% placements.

Decent college but not a value for money

Placements: The worst college in terms of placement. During my batch, 150 companies came to recruit but only 50% students got placements. They are charging a fee of 5 lakhs and in return, the average salary they were offering was 1.5 lakhs. In short, the ROI of the college is very bad.

The placements were below average in 2016-17.

Placements: The overall placement of the college was below average. The average package was around 2 LPA. Some of the students were placed and later found that the company was a fraud. The only major company visited on campus was Samsung, and only 2 students were placed. Apart from that, all other companies visited on campus were startups only. The salary package was very low. The roles offered were mostly related to sales. Only a few students were offered the technical roles. ...

A curse for CEl and ME branches but a boon for CS and IT.

Placements: For civil engineering graduates, they don't have any recruiter. Only those who opt to leave the stream for a job, they sit for placements in TCS and Wipro and not even a single core company visits the campus. CS, IT, and EC are good in terms of placement. Indian Army visits the campus for namesake, with very few seats in hand. So basically nil placement for civil engineering students. The college never recommends us for any internships neither do they organize any extracurricular activity to enh...

Dissatisfied because of faculty and placement and Infrastructure is average.

Placements: Placement was not good at all. IT companies like TCS and Wipro visited for our campus. There was no placement for ME and Civil students in core company but in CS and IT almost 95% students were placed. Overall placement was around 40%. For Chemical Engineering, Tata Chemical gave 5.4 LPA that was highest. Lowest salary was around 1.2 LPA and average is around 2 LPA. In IT companies role offered was system engineer. Other than this, most students went for small management companies with assistant...

The college holds good ranking but only the computer science branch is good enough to do study in this college. If you are going to take admission in any other branch then please don’t go to this college. The faculties are not so good. They all are focusing on completing the syllabus only. They are not in the focus that a particular student is able to understand or not.

It is a pathetic College. It provides no placements. Money minded. Outdated books in library. It has poor faculty as well as infrastructure. Management is not up to the mark. Also it provides no scholarships. It does not conduct any personality development sessions either. No Communication classes. Labs are also not up to the mark.

The college is like hell. No proper facility of anything related to a college. The campus life is a bad experience. No motivation for new things. Management works on written codes and rules. Environment is also not good. No canteen facility available. I strongly recommend not to take admission in here.

It is better to not choose MIET for MBA, especially when you do not want to be placed in marketing field. It only provides rare placement services, that too only in marketing. The faculty is also below average. The students also cannot be considered as a good crowd. Pursuing MBA from UPTU is just to have a degree without any knowledge. There is no dress code in the college.

Overall, this college is average for the students who cannot go to good colleges.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our college is the same as the other colleges in our area. Speaking about the students placed in companies, it allows 30 to 40 percent of students to get placed. An average student can get admission to our college.

If you are a local student, then it is good, but if you are not local, don't take admission here.

Placements: For our branch, very less companies visit here to offer placements. However, students of our batch and our juniors' batch are lucky as they got some civil companies, but the problem is we are offered jobs in locations very far from our home state with very less salary packages. So, if any student is desperate to do a job in this course, they opt for the placements and bear expenses on their own to do a job at the location allocated to them.
