MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2027

Nice college with academics but only a few cultural programs.
Placements: In our course, everyone who passes gets the opportunity to do an internship at the same college hospital, which I’m sure is the case in every medical college. After the internship, students can either opt for doing postgraduation or can practice as general practitioners in hospitals. Placements are not actually provided by the college but are sought and chosen by the students themselves.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college include the hostel, gym, library for maximum reference, mess facilities, canteen facilities, and areas for sports like football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, throwball, etc. The food from the hostel is quite okay, but it is not very tasty. It is just satisfactory.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are very qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very well. Every aspect is understandable and knowledgeable. The curriculum we are following is competency-based medical evaluation, which is a bit tougher than the previous curriculum but is student-friendly and gives freedom. It makes the students competent. This course is highly curriculum-relevant and shapes future doctors. The year-end university exams are of moderate difficulty, but the pass percentage is around 95%.
Other: Our batch contains 150 students. I chose this course because I liked it very much. The best things here are that we get to interact with many people and be the light in the lives of many people. A few scholarships provided by the government are also available in the college, but there aren't many of them. There are many events in the college. Satisfactory.

Good teaching and facilities but not the expected colors of college life.
Placements: Actually, there are no placements here. Most students work here as medical officers (MOs) after completing the course, and our college provides a good salary. Some others prepare for NEET PG, while a small group enters other hospitals or goes abroad for further studies or jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has classrooms with smart class facilities, different labs, a dissection hall, Wi-Fi, demonstration and seminar rooms, etc. It also has a library with many medical books and a study hall. Hostel facilities are good compared to other colleges, with 4 or 3 people in one room, a mess hall, and a TV. The food is not bad, with non-veg daily. There are two football grounds, two basketball courts, a tennis court, etc.
Faculty: Most teachers are good, with some exceptions. Smart classrooms help with understanding. The curriculum is relevant. Exams conducted by our college are tough compared to university exams, but they help students score better in university exams. In the first year, most students fail, but from the second year onwards, most pass, with 20-30 failures.
Other: This course is more about service, and there are many job opportunities. I think students struggle a lot with attendance. The events held here are mainly medical conferences. Arts and sports fests have been held since last year, but there is little support from management.

I am satisfied with the facilities and infrastructure available at my college.
Placements: I am studying at MS medical college. There are hundred and fifty students in my class. Hundred percentage placement is assured. The highest package is for NRI quota and is of about twenty Lacs per year. The lowest package is for special reservation like SC, ST, and is free of cost.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped classroom with well-maintained centralized air conditioning. Good and calm atmospheric library with all days availability. Hostel facilities are also good with good quality variety foods. 24-hour medical facility is available.
Faculty: All teachers are well-educated and highly qualified with good quality of teaching. They are really helpful and very friendly so that we can approach them anytime for any help. Exams are very difficult but are approachable. We have almost 90 percentage pass every year.
Other: I choose this course as it is a job-assured course.

Really good infrastructure and patients. Campus spacious. Experienced faculty members.
Placements: Very high placements. About 5 LPA expected starting salary. Students can enter RMO jobs as soon as they graduate. The unemployment rate is low compared to other jobs. If you decide to go for post-graduation, your value as a professional increases multiple-fold.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hospital is good. Nice college. Spacious campus. Good enough facilities for recreational activities (sports and games). Hostel facilities could be better. The quality of food could be better. Hostel bathrooms are not clean. That could be better.
Faculty: Faculty members are really experienced and dedicated professionals. They lead you through every step of the way. It's such a blessing to be able to study under such esteemed individuals. The teaching quality is also very good, mostly. They focus more on the practical side of studies.

A good medical college, excellent faculty members, and academic quality.
Placements: Our batch consists of one hundred and fifty students. Later, after passing the first year, it reduced to one hundred and thirty-seven. The highest package for NRI students is 20 Lacs per year for 5 years, and the merit package consists of approximately 6.5 Lacs for our batch.
Infrastructure: Hospital infrastructure is developing day by day with centralized AC facilities in all lecture halls and clinical classrooms, with Wi-Fi facilities available in the hospital. We also have a well-ventilated library with an enormous number of good quality, up-to-date books, which even include postgraduate coaching books.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with a supportive mentality, and they prefer interactive classes over mere one-way communication. They follow the exact NMC guidelines and CBME curriculum with Small Group Discussions, Self-Directed Learning, and Simulated Video Lecture classes. The semester exams are of an adequate level of difficulty, following the current curriculum, and the pass percentage last year was 100%.
Other: Campus life is average due to a lack of holidays. Extracurricular activities are encouraged now with training sessions and duty leaves.

Good and bad about MS.
Placements: There are about 150 students in my class. Most of us will get RMO (Regional Medical Officer) positions after we complete our course in our own hospital. The internship is done in our own college. Academically, the college is good but lacks in non-curricular activities.
Infrastructure: The hostel mess is good. The rooms are a bit old but still have facilities. There are no attached bathrooms, but fans are available in all rooms. Maintenance work is needed due to the old construction. There is no Wi-Fi, but there is a basketball court inside the hostel, along with a room for students to watch sports.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also nice. The curriculum is vast and includes relevant topics. The semesters are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is above 80 percent. The teachers really help us improve our knowledge, and adequate study leaves are given.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a doctor at that time. However, this course is tough and vast, so anyone who takes it must be aware that it will be a long, hectic journey. It’s important to choose a college that offers non-curricular activities in addition to academics, such as events, fests, and scholarships.
