Placements: There were placements for every batch, and for my seniors, the percentage was respectively above 65%. The highest salary offered was 6.5 lacs per annum, and if once you get going, it is similar to everyone. Its been a good journey for me to have a college like this, and I would like to suggest you that not to join in this college for fun based as the importance is mainly given to education only.
Placements: There are no placements for mechanical, and the one which we got was a sales job, for which graduate eligibility was not required. No core companies and the other placements were also from BPO. The companies list will be big, but the job role will be BPO or sales or data entry.
Placements: Many companies like Infosys, Genpact, way to freshers.com, etc., companies conduct job fairs to all the students, i.e., it is open to all colleges. The seminars, classes, and many activities are done in our college so that they can train the students for developing their skills for campus placements.
Placements: Placements will not be there for any of the core branches in the college but you may have the placements from smaller tier software companies that too in very minute volume. So if you are aiming for an immediate job after your college then I think it will be a bad option. If you want to learn then you have good faculty in this college. You can interact with the professors who have good experience in teaching and as well as in Industry.
Placements: Doesn't have good placements. Only few companies may come for placements. Basically IT and MNC companies visit Methodist college of engineering. Placement cell is present in D block 3rd floor.
Placements: Many of software companies came to hire, some of them were came for BPO and some for technical engineers and some for technical support. And a few mechanical companies like Vespa came but they seemed really don't meant to come. The tpo is trying hard to bring as many companies as he can bring.
Placements: Presently, the maximum placements are BPO-based for the ECE and CSE departments. Now, the college development is taking place. For our batch, they may come, but it depends on pass percentage and the distinction criteria. The maximum package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the minimum is 1 LPA which are based on pass percentage companies. The maximum of the students are allowed into the fields of data entry and BPO because we all are freshers.
Placements: The college has good scope for placements, but unfortunately, low packages are given while we can get more packages outside, but being an OU student more valuable certification, you can have here in Methodist College because we have fewer colleges here which are offering OU affiliation.
Placements: The placements are somehow good, and we get BPOs for placements. The students will have an industrial visit during class hours. They encourage internships also. There is a training and placement cell in the college. They are very responsible for the placements.
Placements: At the end of the final year, there will be campus placements, in which few companies will come and select the students who are really amazing in their academics and recruiters mainly focus upon communication skills which are being trained at every year in the college. Mostly 30% of the students will get selected, and the average stipend offered was 4 lacs per annum.
Placements: The placements of our senior batches looked good as per the college has shown about their placements, but when it came to our batch, we were encouraged to go for the off-campus placement drives rather than the one conducted in our college. Well, seriously speaking, I don't know the highest package that was offered, but I am sure that the companies were offering 2-2.5 lacs per annum at an average. Mostly the companies that came offered either the software jobs or BPO jobs. There is a placement ce...
Placements: Our seniors are the first batch of civil engineering in our college. So, there are no placements for them. Ours is the second batch, so the management is trying to get placements. The non-core placements are coming to the college. Hope placements will come soon and give more jobs. 5 of our classmates got selected in the BPO placements. So, I hope there will be more placements this year.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good as only 25% of the students got placed with less than 3 LPA package. The college doesn't offer any internship, but students are forced to find placements on their own. A placement cell is available in the college, and the placement officer helps students as much as he can.
Placements: There are very few placements in the college, only 20% of the students are selected for placement every year. Most of the students are not much qualified, so less number of students are getting placed in our college. But there is a chance to improve the percentage of placements.
Placements: The highest pay we get is for 4.8 LPA and that too we need to go to Stanley college (it's considered as the sister college). In our college, we get a maximum package of 2.5 LPA mostly by BPOs and at least 10 students get detained in the process. Every batch starts with 120 students in the 1st year and reaches 80-90 till we reach the 4th year. Placements are good. Companies like Amazon, Mphasis and Wipro visit the college. Mostly, no one go for internships.
Placements: There are many placements for our college. But now even there are much more placements because of the present principal. Every Methodian is equipped with the necessary skill set which will propel the student to scale greater heights in the chosen career field.
It is a nice college having good faculty but the lab facilities are and the placements are also not up to the mark. The thing I like most about the college is its location as it is situated in the heart of the city so there is no transportation problem. This college is the best if you’re looking for a college in your budget and with good faculty.
Good but placements are not up to the mark when I was graduated but now placements have been increasing as my juniors said. While teaching side good and worst infrastructure for 1st year students after that they will shift to new building as they move to 2nd year all. My suggestion teaching is good so fresher’s can join if they wish to. Center of Hyderabad and travelling will be less.
College is within the heart of city so the students faces no transport problems. Good staff but not best. Labs lack equipment’s. Small canteen not enough for college students. The college provides no co-curricular activities and only focuses on studies. Campus is to old and not enough classrooms for upcoming students. College ground is not maintained properly as no sport events are held.
Methodist College of Engineering and Technology is located in the heart of the city, it is affiliated to Osmania University and established in 2008, it has a nice infrastructure and experienced faculty. It has five departments CSE, EEE, ECE, Mechanical, and Civil with well-equipped labs and a nice placement record.
