Value for money and education but not for placements.

Placements: Placements for mechanical is very low about 25% of students placed from college campus. The highest salary acheived was 30k per month an the lowest was 15k in my previous batch. Not much or famous companies visited for placement only designing related companies visited and hier those who did designing software externally from college. Most are hiered as a designer. College do not provide internship they only provide permission letters for internships. Placement cell is available but much useful ...

College is average and one can take admission if he or she is talented then college does't matter.

Placements: MGM do not have tie up even with one company to place there students. This college does't have a placement cell even. They are just mass producing engineers without quality of teaching. And after graduation they are asking for Appointment letter to show there placement record. I don't recommend this college for engineering. But Medical MBBS is good in MGM.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: There are no placements in the college, so we have to go to off-campus drives. The college does not conduct the recruitment drive for the students. The atmosphere in the college is very good. The teaching staff is supportive of the students. There are no extra courses available at the location in the college. The discipline and the library facility in the college are also very good. The transportation is not available in the college for the students.

Good placements and average infrastructure.

Placements: There were approximately 5 companies which were there for the placements in the year 2016. Companies like Capgemini, Pompy, Nucsoft, Euclux, Neosoft had the criteria of 60% aggregate and no year drop and backlogs. For Capgemini, 10 students were selected out of 90 and rest of the other students got placed in different companies. Capgemini offered the maximum package of 3.5L for s/w developer. There were placement cell and was quite good and helpful to know the information about the new recruitme...

Good infrastructure and best faculty for technical studies.

Placements: The placements are moderate and not up to the mark. Sometimes, they offer the role irrelevant to our studies. The package is ranging from 1.8 lacs to 3 lacs. They just take the test and never respond. No training is provided to the students before placements programme. The placements should be more focused here.

MGM's College of Engineering is one of the famous colleges in Marathawada Region.

Placements: The campus placements are there only for IT/CSE students, not for the electronics and telecommunications or mechanical because there is no industrial area near to Nanded. For these two branches, only Indian army is coming, and this is not only an entry. The candidates directly applied for this job.

Our college is well disciplined with highly qualified teachers.

Placements: Placement is based on your fundamental skills, communication skill, knowledge etc. Placement is given to those students who are good at studies and achieved quite good marks. Although the package is not high, it is about 3 LPA, and the minimum package is 1 LPA. However, lots of companies visit our college, like Amazon, Infosys, Ericsson and HCL. Our college collaborated with IIT Bombay etc. and has well skilled and professional teachers.

Good curriculum and faculty but the management is not good.

Placements: The placements were not very good for our batch. Same was for our senior's batch. Hardly 25% of the total students were placed from our batch. The highest package offered was of 4 L per annum and the lowest package offered was 2.5 L per annum. Companies like Tata Elexis, Portea, Excellence, etc. visited the campus for our department. Basically, the roles offered to the students were based on sales and services. Nobody got an internship from the college, we had to look for internship ourselves. T...

2nd best college for civil engineering after Datta Meghe in Navi Mumbai.

Placements: The college does have placements for electrical, electronics and telecommunication, biomedical, IT and computers but core fields like civil engineering and mechanical engineering will have to suffer as we didn't have any placements through the college, so we will have to depend on walk-ins or search outside. For placements, especially for civil and mechanical, look for drives in other colleges too.

Satisfied with the college in terms of infrastructure and faculty but job placement is low.

Placements: There are not many companies visiting the campus but still TPO is trying to arrange more companies to the college. The maximum package offered was 4 LPA. Companies includes L&T, NIIT Technologies, etc. Mostly companies are in pool campus. We need to go to Galgotia or JSS for the interview and placement formalities.

Good college for engineering with amazing faculty.

Placements: Placements network is not good in MGM. They do have a network cell and they promise good placement. However, it is not actually so. While entering the campus, there is a big board which talks about placements done but in reality, it's not so. At our time, out of 200 students, approximately 10 students were placed. 6 at Ericsson, Noida at a package of Rs 2.5 lac/annum. 4 at Grapecity, Noida at a package of Rs 3.5 lac/annum.

Good but not the best institute for civil engineering.

Placements: The placements here are not that good. When I was in final year only one company showed up with a package of 15000 per month. Other companies such as Stup and Marathon were scheduled for placement but it did not happen. The average package offered here is 2-3 LPA. The stipend for the master's course here is 8000 per month. Not many students go for the internship from my batch but finding an internship is our own effort as the college will not help you with that. ...

A small however good college located in the commercial sector of Noida (sector 62). The college is surrounded by other colleges and IT Park. Education wise and faculty wise, a good college with decent crowd. Friendly environment and different technical communities within the college, one can learn a lot. The only concern is the placements. The management needs to work on their placement program for the better status of college.

Any student who wants to enrol in college for a better future & job assurance. Unfortunately, till 2014, campus placements were not active at MGM, but they are working on it & all the branches are getting a fair amount of opportunities now. Now, coming to faculty, civil engineering faculty members were good enough, I am not saying the best faculty ever, but there were some good teachers & lecturers. The canteen is something spacious and good for snacks. The location is at soon express highway. T...

Effervescent and good college experience.

Placements: The placements in the chemical engineering department are mostly in core companies, where they have good experience from internships and also get the opportunity to learn skills for personality enhancement. Core companies recruit, like Arabian Petroleum Limited, fertilizer and polymer companies, etc.

Review of MGM's College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: More than 75% of students get placed in our course. Top recruiting company in our course is Wipro. Internships are provided in our course. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, the lowest salary package is 2 LPA, and the average salary package is 2.5 LPA. Around 20% to 30% of students get internships in our college. Companies visiting our college recruited students from all the branches.

Overall a good college but placements are well below average .

Placements: Placements were very bad during my passing out year. Only a few selected students were placed. Most students had to go for pool campus. There is a very small market for electronics and telecom hence most of the students switch to higher degree or IT .

It provides decent infrastructure and faculty members but not placements.

Placements: It was not a decent college for civil engineering. It has a good name on papers but not in reality. Fees charges are too high, and almost no placements are provided. It is located very far from Khandeshwar and Kharghar railway stations. It is only a better option for students who stay beyond Kurla in Navi Mumbai.
