It has a very good infrastructure and learning environment and high scope for placements.

Placements: I think it's one of the best colleges. About 40% of the students from different courses got placed in urban sectors and village sectors. Some were going to take research, and some went to the technology sector like remote sensing. Some students took part in SSC and PSC exams, and some took part in environmental sectors for the environment. Some students joined in water resource management for a better mankind. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 20,000 to 1 lac per month.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are highly digital, and students are comfortable in the class. Libraries are fully-digitalised, and sufficient books are available in the library in all subjects. Apart from this, there are many types of books for knowledge. Wi-Fi facilities are available here, which is good. The hostel is also good, and there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Food quality is very good. There is a function of sports and games every year, and\ students take part in it. There is also a canteen.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and very helpful for us in semesters. They are well-knowledgeable, and their teaching attracts students for studying this course. Most of the teachers are doing research in their free time. They are also doing work for mankind.

Other: I have chosen this course because I think geography is a very good subject, like other subjects. I can be a geographer like a scientist for our environment. I think some extra teachers are needed for making this department excellent, and the course curriculum should be more digitalised. The college hosts different types of geographical seminars and national seminar on population, development and environment.

It's a beautiful college. The infrastructure is very developed. Teaching and classrooms are good.

Placements: My academic percentage in this course is 60%. In our course, the salary package offered is fixed. GIS companies are available for this course. About 20% of the students join GIS companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in this college. In the geography department, there are two practical labs. Classrooms are beautiful, and 3 classrooms are available in the department. There is a library for students. Hostel and medical facilities are available, and annual sports are conducted.

Faculty: All the teachers here are good and very helpful. They help all the students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it helps in marketing. There are 6 semesters in this course and 2 internal exams in one semester and practical CIA. The semester is of very short duration, and practical exams are conducted at any time. It is a big problem for students who can not be able to attend college on that exam day. Above 90% is the pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I like geography, and it's very interesting. Teaching technical instruments should be improved. Our college area and campus are wonderful. Scholarships are available for merit students. The admission fee is high.

Best autonomous college in Midnapore.

Placements: Very good atmosphere for studies and has an impressive teaching method. Maximum teachers are Ph.D holders. Every student must follow 75% attendance for seating in the final examinations. This is an autonomous college situated in Midnapore town from a little distance from midnapore railway station. One of the best colleges in West Bengal, admission is little tough as the cut-off is high of this college.

Infrastructure: This is a very high capacity college as it holds 12000 students in a year. All building are concreted. More than 10 buildings. Two different schedule as it holds morning and day shifting. Very impressive infrastructure at this level of autonomous capacity.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members have a Ph.D degree. Some are also from IITs having a post graduate degree.
