Autonomous institute. The quality of engineers will eventually become better.

Placements: Placements are really very good. We get lots of opportunities to get a job before we go out of the college. Even the TPO supports the students for one more year after they pass out. Regarding packages, mechanical guys got 7.5 approx packages. Companies which visited were Mahindra, John Deere, Zs, Tata Technologies and many more.

Worth to opt it if you are looking to study in Pune. Have lots of learning opportunities.

Placements: The chemical department has the least number of placements. Only a few companies visit each year like Honeywell, Uhde India, Reliance, Volkswagen, etc. The toppers are always preferred. Mu Sigma also visits, which is an added advantage to the one who has the goal to work in a corporate company.

It is an average college but my experience was quite nice.

Placements: In 2015-16, the placement was 30% and in 2016-17, it has gone up to 50%. The average salary is 3 lakh and the max is 8 lakh. The lowest is 1.8 lakh per annum. The companies that visited are Reliance, Honeywell, Filtra Consultancy, Accenture, PolyOne, Kingfa, Praxair, etc. Placement must be higher! It should be around 70-80%. Students need to go to the main campus for placement purpose.

I am satisfied with the college. Good infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: The placement packages that are offered are good varying from an average package of 3.5 or 4 lakhs per annum to higher packages depending on the company that you will get placed. A lot of companies visit the campus like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Directi and much more. The highest for the last two consecutive has been 14 LPA that was given by Directi. Directi is the only company which is non-criterion and offers a good package. You just need to maintain 60% aggregate and placement is not a big i...

Good placements in the last 5 years and academically sound.

Placements: 45% of the total students got placed and 60% from the eligible were placed. Highest package offered was 14.2 lakh per annum. Companies like Directi, Mu Sigma, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS etc visited. Lowest package offered was 3 lakh per annum. Average package: 4.5 lakh. All the salary information given is only in the department of computer engineering. Computer and IT students are provided with better placement opportunities than other departments. In short, I would say it is the best college I could have got.

Placements: Placements are good as MIT group has pool campus placements. It means you will get a chance to sit in companies coming for MIT Kothrud. Almost all the students who are eligible are placed with a decent salary. The highest package this year is 14.47 LPA (Directi).

The "Must Consider" college for Engineering

Placements: The placement cell is very active and the placement scenario in the college is pretty much promising, all you have to do to get placed with good salary is maintain good grades. With good grades you'll land a job with average salary around 5 lacs per annum or so. Also, there are many 'No criteria' companies visiting the college for placement which offer around 2.5 to 3 per annum so no worries. College provides many opportunities for students interested for internships. The highest salary offered ...

A good place to learn and grow, lots of opportunities, good infrastructure

Placements: The placements in our college are really good, and lots of core and IT-based companies visited for the recruitment drive. Around 60% of the eligible students (meeting the minimum percentage criteria and other conditions) were placed in reputed companies(here I am mentioning the companies for mechanical stream) like Mahindra & Mahindra, Bluestar, Continental, Faurecia, Force Motors, Johnson Controls, Tata Technologies, Saint-Gobain, Thermax and the list goes on. Pros: 1) Nice environment for study buffs. 2) Away from city's hustle bustle. 3) Cleanliness is next to godliness here. 4) Teaching staff is ok. 5) Hostel even after being the costliest in the city, is the best. Cons: 1) Too far from city, so you will require a vehicle for sure. 2) Mess and Hostel facilities are quite mediocre. 3) No emphasis is given to extracurricular activities except during cultural fest, Nakshatra. 4) Too much emphasis given to Robocon. 5) Paying Guest available nearby are ...

A good and decent college

Placements: Placements were good. A lot of opportunities for students across different departments. MIT has a centralized system of placements where all the institutes have the placements on the Kothrud campus. Around 150+ companies had come during our batch. Every student is personally assisted for placements by the placement team.

The faculty is great; there could be some efforts made to improve the campus.

Placements: Nearly 85% of students were placed, with an average package of INR 8–12 LPA, which is quite good. Apart from that, they also provide support to budding entrepreneurs, which is great for extraordinary students. The internships offered also provided a great learning and experience platform.

MIT Academy Of Engineering is a college where you can get high class education.

Placements: The placement record in Computer and IT department are above 90%. For the mechanical department, it's about 50%. Most companies hiring in the mechanical department are mass recruiters. Mechanical students can get placed in the IT sectors too. Collaboration with MIT WPU for placements is a huge advantage.

I am satisfied because of antinomy, but our college should improve its level of teaching and place.

Placements: I don't know much about placements of our college, but the average salary package offered here ranges from 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies which visit our campus are not related to the core field. So, mechanical engineering students have to learn the software and also software languages like C+, Java, etc., to get placed in non-core companies, which are IT companies. Students of the ENT department get a salary package of 96 LPA.
