Overall, satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements for the ENTC department are quite difficult. Less field related companies visit the campus. The TPO cell has inadequate industry relations, causing less or no placements for the department. However, you can get placed in an IT industry though.

Really good and helpful natured staff.

Placements: There is a good placement. For the computer branch, placement is nearly about 100%. For mechanical, almost 50% students are placed every year. The highest package is 7 LPA. Every student gets an average package of 3.50 LPA. In our college, the placement cell is very good, and it's always useful to students.

Perfect college for average students.

Placements: Placements are average and the package driven is also satisfactory. But don't expect high packages from this college. But placement and number of companies in placements are good. If you're active, and even if you got less marks, there is a high chance that you are going to be placed.

Overall, a nice college with in the central location of the city.

Placements: If students score is greater than 60 %, then placements will be better. Overall, it is a nice college. It is located in central location of the city. Great support is provided by college's training and placement department. Different useful sessions are conducted by the college to make students to appear for placements.

I am satisfied because of the faculty, the training and placement cell and the head of department

Placements: The placements were stuck last year for the mechanical department, but for the computer and the electronics departments, they were fabulous. This year, many companies have shown key interest in our department, thanks to the TPO cell. The average salary offered was around Rs. 3 LPA. Many students have got the jobs in the sales department. The internships were forbidden this year, especially the principal's view was attendance-oriented.

Really good college to study engineering in Pune.

Placements: 100% students of BE were eligible according to the placement criteria, but 50% were placed. Many of the students who have been year dropped haven't got their placements, but almost the students who are having an average score of 60% were placed. The highest package offered was of 14 LPA, and the lowest offered was 2.5 LPA.

Overall, a great college with the good faculty, location and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements at MESCOE is not a problem if you have above 60%. Many opportunities will be provided by the TPO cell, and it's up to you to make the best use of them. Persistent was the first company which visited our college and took an online test of quant. After that, it held interviews at Marathwada Mitra Mandel College of Engineering. There were 3 rounds, 2 technical and 1 HR round. They offered 3.5 LPA. Next company that visited was Tech Mahindra. Apti was a simple and was all about Englis...

Good brand name but not good infrastructure

Placements: As I was in mechanical engineering, there was no such placement for mechanical. Only 1-2 companies were there for placement. In mechanical, only 10-12 students were selected and 7-8 of them in software companies. In the computer stream, there were good chances of selection as more no of companies visited the campus. 50 -60% of computer students were selected.

I am lucky to get into this college as it gave me a chance to learn new things and improve myself.

Placements: In the previous year, the placements were good. About, 80% of the students were placed in the computer department itself. An average salary of 4.5 lakhs per annum was given to the majority of the students that were placed. Overall, the college has the placement cell for supporting the students.

Didn't have a good experience in the engineering life. No functions were organised.

Placements: If you are a mechanical engineering student, you'll be disappointed as the college TPO doesn't provide core mechanical jobs. The TPO head doesn't cooperate at all. All they do is provide you with an IT job which doesn't have job security. They don't even guide the students for the job interview.

Average placement and unhelpful faculty.

Placements: Service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. visit this campus before the final year of engineering. If you have more than 60 aggregate then you will surely get placed with a package ranging from 3-3.5 LPA. Other companies offering more than 5 LPA also visit the campus like Xoriant and ZS Associate. In terms of placement, 50 percent students were placed from our batch. No core companies visit this campus, so even if you are from electronics and telecommunication or even mechanical, yo...

Good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Many good companies visit for campus placements. Persistent, ThoughtWorks, Symantec, etc. are some of them. If you have throughout first class in all semesters then placements will be easier for you. Pool campuses also take place which offers opportunities to students from 5-6 colleges together.

To mention some names: ZF India, Writgen, Sanmar Group, Equilibrium solution, KSB pumps, etc. The packages offered are in the range of 3-5 lacs per annum.

Companies like Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Accenture were there offering the role of developer or tester. No student got the internship from the college.

If you are looking for a college which provides degree in BE mechanical under University of Pune, then it is advisable to put it on the first number for rejected colleges. The infrastructure, it's just one tall building. However, computer engineering has a good placement record (in call centers mostly).

This is an excellent college with motivating faculty members and a good campus and facilities. It also has an encouraging management and is very safe for students, as it is strict for anti-ragging, and is disciplined and particular about the students' knowledge enhancement and skills. The college staff members are very co-operative and helpful to the students.

MES College of Engineering is overall a good college, but not worth the money. Only people with first class aggregate enjoy the placement drives and others are left out. Talking about space, it is not a huge campus, just two buildings. Cultural and technical events keep happening though. It has only a few good staff members.
