Satisfied with average infrastructure and good faculty.

Placements: Well, the placements are not up to the mark. TCS is the most prior company at this college. And only 11 students from the entire batch got placed at TCS. Three or four other companies also came. The highest salary offered was Rs. 23000. Mostly IT companies visited the campus. Offers for electrical students were low. No students got any internship from the college.

Good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Our college has a very good reputation in the industry. The placement cells are very active and maintain a good relation with the industry. As a result, every year, IT majors like TCS, IBS etc. visit the campus and recruit ample amount of students from the various streams.

Good infrastructure but lacks in placement and faculty.

Placements: Placements were poor in my batch. Usually, TCS and IBS are the companies that visit the college. In my batch, only 20 people were selected for TCS and only 3 for IBS. Highest salary package offered by TCS is around 3.14 spa. Other than these MNCs, many startups also came for placement. But they also offered jobs to only a few students. No core engineering companies visited the college. Only IT companies showed interest in students of our college. Students were offered the role of software engine...

If you can survive on your on, then this college may suit you.

Placements: The placement drive is only for IT companies here. There was a TCS placement drive and only 10 students were placed from all of the departments combined. The monthly salary starts from 20,000 onwards. There were no core companies for other trades, none whatsoever, did a recruitment drive in MCET. The only placements you could possibly imagine from within the campus is for software companies only.

Excellent choice for people who really care only about accademics

Placements: 10% of batch gets placed..Recruiters are mainly TCS and other startups from Kerala. Highest package is provided by TCS which is around 3.2lakh CTC. Average may go down 2lakh CTC. Companies which visit the campus are TCS, speridian, wipro, allianz etc. No internships are provided from the college. Preplacement tutorials are given by the college before every interview. Also finishing school program is conducted at the final year to mould the students for placements and future.

Our college is best for students and it is the 2nd good college in the private sector behind Mar Baselios college of engineering .The environment of our college is best for students because it is full of greenery and windy area. It has best teachers and professors but our director is so harsh to the students which we cannot afford at all. Overall, it has best placements and faculty but there a lot of extra Fee's which is they are draining from us so it is not the place worth the money.

There will be lot of bad stuff to be said about the college, especially by the current students. But as someone who has passed out of there 2 years back, I can vouch that I had the best time of my life there. The college is on the stricter side, owing to the presence of a disciplinarian principal, Dr. Ashalatha Thampuran. She is a wise but stubborn lady and the college literally is built around her status as an academician. As a person who has had multiple tiffs with her, my suggestion would be ...

One of the best private colleges in Kerala, has a good infrastructure and the labs are also good with the best faculty. The director is a very strict and manages the college very well and provides a good environment to study. Regarding the college events there is illuminati our cultural fest, colloquium our tech fest and the annual sports day of which illuminati is the best. In case of placements, during my time TCS, IBS, SIB, Suntech and some more companies came and most of the CS and EC studen...

I did B.Tech in IT from M.C.E.T and passed out in 2008 with Distinction. For me, M.C.ET was an above average college with great campus facilities. If you are trying to study in a college with full freedom, then this is not a cup of Tea.The College has some rules that shouldn't be digested by many. Other than those rules, the college is very calm and having a great study center.. Faculty is very friendly to the students. That makes study more freely.

It is the best private college of engineering.

Placements: This college provides top-class placements among private institutions. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys take in students regularly. If students score 80% of students and above, they will had a good chance of getting placed in the 1st round. I am placed in Infosys.

It is a good college as compared with other colleges.

Placements: About 10 students got a job out of 120 students. Many companies come for placements, but they are offering less salary as compared to the required salary. However, they were good. If you want to be a part of this, then you should have good knowledge. Studies are good here.
