Placements: Around 70% of students are placed through the course. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters include research institutions and botanical organizations. Approximately 30% of students secure internships, often with companies like the Indian Botanical Research Institute and environmental NGOs. Top roles offered include researcher, plant biotechnologist, and conservationist.
Placements: Colleges, like other institutes, expect students to intern during summer vacation. However, students are expected to seek internships on their own; the internship duration is 45 days. The psychology department does not have a highly functional placement cell; however for other courses, the college offers a variety of companies for placement. EY, PG, KPMG, the Premia Academy, and Career Quest pick up students through campus placement. From the beginning, I was passionate about teaching so I joine...
Placements: 40-60% of students were placed in our course. 23 LPA was the highest, 3LPA was the lowest, and 6 LPA was the average package offered in this course. Top recruiting companies for the course were Biotin, Serum Institute, Genetic, etc. 80% of students got an internship from my course. Top roles offered were research associate, lab technician, etc.
Placements: Placements in our college are nil. Not even a single company related to biotechnology or life science visited our campus for placements. Even if they visit, they are not related to our field. Before admission, they assure 100% placements, but it's not even 10% of what they promised. Undoubtedly, the education provided is good.
Placements: My stream was M.Sc. biotechnology which didn't have any decent placements. The commerce stream is given more importance. Placements are not given much importance to in our stream. It needs to be taken more seriously. It has been the same for previous batches.
Placements: At our college, there was a special cell for placements. This placement cell works hard, and about 60% of students get campus placements every year. The highest package offered in our batch was 15 LPA, and the lowest offered package was 4 LPA. The average package offered was 5 LPA. Around 80% of students get on-campus internships.
Placements: Very nice school. Around 70% of students are placed in my course M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition. The average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Big Basket, Flipkart, and others such as Google, etc. Fifty percent of students get internship offers from various companies, including Google, Flipkart, and Amazon.
