It is a well-reputed college, but the faculty members don't care about the students and their attendance.

Good Infrastructure and facilities and excellent teaching.
Placements: About less than 50% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package was 3-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TechMahindra, TCS, Unisys, Deloitte, etc. About 30% of the students got internships from my courses in Tech Mahindra and TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is fine. The classrooms have projectors, which makes it convenient for lectures. The labs are decent, but the equipment is quite outdated, and there is no Wi-Fi for the students. The library has a lot of books to choose from, and it also provides a digital library for students to use for online lectures and studying. The canteen provides decent food, with both veg and non-veg options available. Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide hostel facilities, so students who come from far and wish to study here must look for a hostel themselves.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and provide excellent instruction. They are very helpful and supportive to students who seek help and guidance. The course curriculum is relevant, but students need to explore more trending technologies. For this, the college has specialized clubs to help students be industry ready. The semester exams are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose B.E. in Information Technology because I have a deep interest in technology and the career opportunities it offers. I wish the placement percentage was higher so that all students could get placed and start their careers. This college is known for its events and festivals, which include sports events, hackathons, and food festivals. These events provide students with opportunities to enjoy themselves while they are studying.

B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2027

The placement is not that good, but the college infrastructure and faculty are top-notch.
Placements: Only about 20 to 25 percent of students get placement and only if they belong to a branch related to Computer Science. Packages are around 4 to 8 lacs per annum. There are no big companies that hire; most of them are startups. The placements are already poor due to competition from other colleges.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, with a lot of greenery around the college, gardens, canteens, labs, playgrounds, indoor games, library, and classrooms which are well maintained. The only problem is with toilets, which are still better maintained than in other colleges but are not that clean. A few buildings on the campus have gotten old and need modifications to fit modern standards.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, but some might not be that great. A few teachers can be irritating. Students will need to complete some additional courses to be job-ready as the syllabus is lagging about 10 to 15 years. It would be great if the syllabus were updated by Osmania University (the university the college is affiliated with).
Other: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are in trend right now, and there will be a lot of opportunities in the future. The syllabus must be updated to fit today’s standards. There are always events going on regularly, organized by various cells.

Honesty dissatisfied because of the worst placement and outdated syllabus, but good faculty.
Placements: In my batch, out of 130 students in my course, only 5 of them were placed, with the highest package being 7.5 LPA. No one secured internships from the companies. I believe each of us merely pursued online internships for the sake of marks during the 6th semester. It's truly the worst scenario.
Infrastructure: Yes, the facilities were not that bad! But the labs have outdated equipment. There is no college hostel available for our college. Wi-Fi is not provided; if any student wants to use Wi-Fi, he/she should pay extra money for it. And the classrooms were average.
Faculty: The faculty was excellent, always ready to assist students and highly knowledgeable. However, the course curriculum was outdated and not industry-ready. Our college, not being autonomous, required us to write our semester exams at external centers.

A good college for 4 hassle-free years of your Bachelors
Placements: No batch of B.E in AIDS has passed out yet, so there is not much information regarding placements in this particular course, but the placements for Computer Science students are pretty average. As the B.E in AIDS course is part of Computer Science, these students are also eligible for the placements, therefore average. Regarding companies, 2 students whom I knew personally were placed in Microsoft and TCS a year ago.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good, no Wi-Fi for students though. All the labs have good infrastructure. The library is huge with all the materials available for studying. Classrooms are also good with white screens and projectors. No hostel, veg and non-veg canteen available with reasonable menus. Sports and games are excellent, lots of clubs, all games and sports are entertained, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, carrom, chess, table tennis, karate, and more.
Faculty: Teaching staff is outstanding in explaining concepts, knowledgeable, and also qualified, with almost all the staff holding a master’s degree in their respective subjects. Course curriculum for the B.E in AIDS is similar to Computer Science a tiny bit, but yes, it does make students ready for higher studies. Semester exams are of average to above-average difficulty level. It is still very subjective, and the difficulty varies from person to person. 80-90 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: AI is the future of tech, so that’s the best thing about this course, and that’s the reason why someone would choose this. The course curriculum could be improved to teach students more industry-related stuff. Events and fests keep occurring. You can join clubs too for connectivity and networking. Campus is pretty clean and green. Students eligible for scholarships can get scholarships. Extracurricular activities according to your interest can be performed.

Hyderabad engineering experience, MJCET.
Placements: As of the present scenario, the percentage of students getting a placement is around 67%, as many companies, especially IBM, have tie-ups with college clubs and social student clubs. The highest package offered in 2023 was around 35 LPA, and the lowest was offered at 9 LPA, with the average package being offered at 12 LPA. The top companies that recruit from our college would be IBM, Amazon, cognizant, and TCS. Internships tend to have a good percentage every year, with around 78 percent of students having internships in 2023.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is standard, with non-AC classrooms and some advanced labs. Some computer labs have opened up in the last few years that have very advanced teaching, which is helpful for the students. There is no hostel at the college but there is a canteen, though.
Faculty: The staff at the college is very well experienced. I would say they are among the most experienced staff in the city. The teaching quality is pretty good. The course curriculum for the first three semesters, according to my view, is not at all relevant. The semester exams are kind of average.
Other: The reason for me to choose this course is that the opportunities offered by it are future ready and many things will be impacted by AI in the coming future. I would suggest that the course be much more relevant right from the start. There are numerous events held year-round on the campus.

Opinion on MJCET and various aspects of it.
Placements: Placement in MJCET is average. MNC intake has been very low in recent years, and they provide an average package of 2–4 lacs only. Finally, only a few students received placement. They assist you in getting an internship and companies like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, etc. visit the campus and students should clear all the backlogs to sit in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. Classrooms are kept clean and neat. There is a hostel facility in MJC. In every class, a projector is available. There are two canteens on campus: one is vegetarian and the other is a non-vegetarian canteen. Wi-Fi is provided on campus, and the library is very good and is filled with lots of books.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and encourage students. But the teachers do not have high-level knowledge. Students should study on there own only. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. Semesters are very hard compared to other colleges and the percentage of students passing is average.
Other: CSE is in boom. Every student has a desire to settle down quickly in their career. They should add some new subjects. And make students industry-ready. And improve placement assistance.
