Established in 2018, the National Academy of Media and Events is popularly known as NAME. The academy offers focused education related to the Event and Entertainment industry. It offers two programmes, including diploma and certification in the field of Event Management, Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship, etc.
Candidates need to undergo a compulsory internship programme. The curriculum offered at the academy for diplomas and certifications are designed by the industry experts.
NAME also has two other centres at Patna and Kolkata. In 2019, AICA an inter-college creative competition was organised to award creative and talented youth. AICA brings all the colleges around the city together to showcase talent and entertainment under one roof in presence of experts & celebrity judges.
