The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released for admission to the MTech course. Registered candidates can log in and download their admit cards from the official website. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The TANCET 2025 registration for admission to MBA and MCA courses will start on Jan 24, 2025. The TANCET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Mar 22, 2025.
- The TNEA application form 2025 for admission to the BE/BTech courses will be released in May 2025. Soon, the TNEA 2025 schedule is expected to be released.

B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent with above mentioned marks from any recognised Board/council. Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply. |
M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engg./Electrical Engineering. Candidate belonging to Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible. |
MCA | Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduation Level and obtained at least mentioned (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examinations. |

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 649 students were admitted at National Engineering College and 688 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 688 students 551 were placed with median salary of INR 360000 and 51 students opted for higher studies. A total of 557 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at National Engineering Collegeand 616 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 616 students 504 were placed with median salary of INR 401988 and 40 students opted for higher studies. PG Degree (2 year) : In year 2019-20, for 2 year PG Degree, a total of 24 students were admitted at National Engineering College and 21 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 21 students 15 were placed with median salary of INR 320000 and 1 students opted for higher studies. A total of 24 students were admitted in year 2020-21 for 2 year PG degree at National Engineering Collegeand 24 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 24 students 16 were placed with median salary of INR 360000.
