One of the best college for Manufacturing engineering.

Placements: Some of the best companies visit the campus for recruitment. Prominent companies like Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki visited the college. Almost 70% of the students of our batch got placed in various companies. CTCs are not so high but still better to kick start your career in the core engineering. Later when you will gain experience you will find its benefits.

Come to this college and get your life set.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite good when compared to other colleges. Almost 90% to 95% of students are getting placed every year. The average salary package offered is 3.5 to 4 LPA. Major companies like TATA motors, PKMG, Tata Metalik, Hinduja founder, Maruti Suzuki, and Mahindra visit the campus for placements. I have graduated in 2018, and my batch had a 100% placement record. Around 80% of students were placed in big companies such as Tata Motors, Jindal, and Mahindra, and that trend is ...

Placement is super, infrastructure is well but lacking good faculty and extra activity exposure.

Placements: I am currently in final year and can proudly say that placement scenario of nifft is better than any other NIT in terms of the return on investment. More than 25 companies visit for the batch strength of 70. If leave two or three batches, every batches got full placement. Companies like Tata motors, Vedanta, KPMG, JSW, LMW, Hindalco, Hinduja foundry, Tata Cummins, Maruti Suzuki, Kirloskar, Atlas Copco, Tata metaliks, Hitachi are the regular recruiter of our college for the role of engineers. It encourages for research and development and good in placements.

Placements: National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology is improving by itself every year. Placements are good, and around 85 to 90 percent of students are placed this year till date and some companies are yet to come. Some of the companies who came and took tough selection processes are KPMG, Tata Motors, Kirloskar Brother Limited, Federal-Mogul Powertrain and many more.

Absolutely satisfied with my college life except one thing, the lack of environment in the college.

Placements: As a government engineering college, the placements were good enough. Roughly, 80% of the students got placed in core industries. The highest package offered was 7.2 LPA, and the lowest was 3.0 LPA. All responsibilities of placements are taken care by a student committee named as ILC under the supervision of some faculty members. For the internship, only 2 or 3 companies visited the campus.

NIFFT is the unsung hero.

Placements: Placements are really good. A lot of core companies visit the campus during the whole year. Average package offered to the students of this institute for the undergraduate programme is around 4 LPA. Many manufacturing giants like JSW, Tata, JSPL, Kirloskar Brothers Limited and few data analysis companies like Mu Sigma, KPMG regularly visit the campus.

A good college for metallurgy and manufacturing engineering.

Placements: The placements are good, and sometimes it goes up to 60%. The average placement is around 90%-98%. The average package would be around 3 LPA since this college is under MHRD, the government of India. Good companies visit and the end you may end up in Tata, Maruti, etc. Also, you can go to PSUs.

The college is worth for money.

Placements: In foundry and forge technology (FFT) batch in M.tech, placement is good other than manufacturing and material science. In the last year 2015 batch, 15 students are placed out of 19 students. B.Tech and ADC students have great placement scenario here. So great opportunity is provided here.

The placements of the college are excellent.

Placements: My batch placement was almost 80% with the average package of 2.4 LPA. The campus placement of this college is excellent. The companies like Tata Motors, Maruti, DCM visited every year for placement with the exciting package. Now my friends and I are working very happily.

I am totally satisfied. A good college to get in.

Placements: The placement scenario is pretty well n this college. Although the exposure is less in comparison to any NIT or IIT, you get pretty chances to get placed in well-reputed brands like Tata, KPMG, Hindalco, and Hinduja Foundries. The perks and recognitions are even higher if you are good at studies. The environment is very conducive for GATE preparation (especially for METALLURGY). The institute holds the legacy of producing toppers (within AIR 10) every year in GATE. The credit, of course, goes to...

Good college for the placements.

Placements: The placement scenario was good for our batch. Most of the students bagged good roles with good companies. The companies like Tata Motors was hugely popular, and they offered a decent package of Rs. 6 +LPA. A UAE company made the top offer of Rs. 11 LPA for its role based in Dubai and they ended up recruiting two students. Other companies visiting for the placements were Mahindra, Amtek Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc.

Decent college with a good placement record.

Placements: NIFFT is one such college which is more or less witnesses 100% placements every year. The very fact that it is one of the colleges in this field in Asia helps a lot in attracting recruiters. There is a lot of demand for the specialised roles in the foundry and forge domain. Also, the students often end up bagging roles from PSU examinations. Some of the big names participating in offering the placements include Tata Motors, KPMG, HeroMotocorp, Mahindra, DCM Shriram, etc. ...

Very good with respect to placement and GATE rank. Hostel rooms are big and very good.

Placements: Placements are very good because it is the only college in Asia in which foundry and forge is taught. Till now 80% placement have been done and still, some companies are yet to come. The famous companies which came this year are KPMG, Mu Sigma, Kirloskar Brother, Tata Motors, Hindalco, and many more. The college is famous for GATE rank in MTE. Every year, 4-5 students come under 100 rank in GATE. From the last 2 years, AIR 2 has been taken by us.

Placements were below our expectations, bad food, need to compete to win and prosper.

Placements: Placements are just average and it was the same scenario with our previous batch as well. We expected a lot, but they were not up to our expectations. The placement committee has to focus more on the ways to call and make relations with the companies and convert them fruitfully. Many companies visit early after the final year starts. So more homework is to be done at that time. The highest is 8 lpa (Tata Metalliks) and the lowest is 2 lpa. Average is 3.5 lpa. Most of the companies are core compa...

This college is the paradise of Ranchi .

Placements: Placement trend of my college is pretty descent as previous statistics is concerned but as we know the industry is seeking towards automation the core mechanism is quite automated. This is why we are observing little bit downfall. But still old is gold.
