National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai offers a two-year PG course in Master of Fashion Technology. Admission to MFTech at NIFT is done through a national-level NIFT entrance exam. For admission to this course, students need to qualify NIFT entrance exam comprises a General Ability Test (GAT) written exam. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the situation test comprises Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

NIFT Chennai MFTech Admission 2023: Eligibility, Fee & Seats

NIFT Chennai admission process is entrance-based. Every year NIFT conducts its entrance exam to select the eligible candidates, including a written exam along with the situation test which comprises different rounds. The college has allocated seats per the candidates belonging to the general, reserved, NRI and foreign categories. NIFT Chennai MFTech Application Process 2023

Candidates willing to take admission to NIFT Chennai are required to fill out an application form for the NIFT entrance exam on the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in). To fill out the application form aspirants can follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in).

Step 2: Click on the admission tab and tap on the "Registration" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Begin with the registration process by entering all the details, such as name, DOB, desired programme, etc., in the given slots and click on "Submit". 

Step 4: Proceed with the application form and upload the image of the scanned documents, signature and a recent passport size photograph.

Step 5: Pay the requisite application fee to complete the registration process.

Documents needed at the time of admission:

• Personal and educational qualification details
• Caste/ tribe/ class certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)
• Disability certificate for persons with disabilities
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg/ jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
