NIFT 2025 registrations are open for BFTech course. The last date to apply with regular fees is Jan 6, 2025. The NIFT 2025 written exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 9, 2025.

NIFT Chennai offers a four-year course for Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech). The college provides this course in Apparel Production that targets the core learning in the mass manufacturing of apparel. Apart from that, students can also get admission to BFTech (Lateral Entry) course. Admission to NIFT Chennai BFTech is based on valid score in NIFT entrance exam which comprises General Ability Test (GAT) exam.

Admission to BFTech at NIFT Chennai is solely entrance-based. For aspiring candidates, it’s mandatory to qualify for the written exam. NIFT Chennai BFTech Application Process 2023

Candidates willing to take admission to NIFT Chennai are required to fill out an application form for the NIFT entrance exam on the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in). To fill out the application form aspirants can follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in).

Step 2: Click on the admission tab and tap on the "Registration" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Begin with the registration process by entering all the details, such as name, DOB, desired programme, etc., in the given slots and click on "Submit". 

Step 4: Proceed with the application form and upload the image of the scanned documents, signature and a recent passport size photograph.

Step 5: Pay the requisite application fee to complete the registration process.

Documents needed at the time of admission:

• Personal and educational qualification details
• Caste/ tribe/ class certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)
• Disability certificate for persons with disabilities
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg/ jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
