NIFT 2025 registrations are open for MFM course. The last date to apply with regular fees is Jan 6, 2025. The NIFT 2025 written exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 9, 2025.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai offers a two-year PG course in Master of Fashion Management. Admission to MFM at NIFT is done through a national-level NIFT entrance exam. For admission to this course, students need to qualify NIFT entrance exam comprises a General Ability Test (GAT) written exam. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the situation test comprises Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

NIFT Chennai MFM Admission 2023: Eligibility, Fee & Seats

Admission to MFM at NIFT Chennai is solely entrance-based. For aspiring candidates, it’s mandatory to qualify for the written exam along with the situation test comprising different rounds. The seat allocation is respectively distributed as per the different categories, where the total seat for the general and reserved category is 38, and additionally, 5 seats are given to the NRI and foreign candidates. • Graduation in any discipline from any Institute or University recognized by Law

• Diploma of minimum three year from NIFT/NID

Selection Criteria:  NIFT entrance-exam (GAT + GD & PI)

Note: The above fee includes a Refundable Security Deposit of INR 11,400. Students will receive the amount at the time of course completion, as per the institute's guidelines

NIFT Chennai MFM Application Process 2023

Candidates willing to take admission to NIFT Chennai are required to fill out an application form for the NIFT entrance exam on the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in). To fill out the application form aspirants can follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT (www.nift.ac.in).

Step 2: Click on the admission tab and tap on the "Registration" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Begin with the registration process by entering all the details, such as name, DOB, desired programme, etc., in the given slots and click on "Submit". 

Step 4: Proceed with the application form and upload the image of the scanned documents, signature and a recent passport size photograph.

Step 5: Pay the requisite application fee to complete the registration process.

Documents needed at the time of admission:

• Personal and educational qualification details
• Caste/ tribe/ class certificate (for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates)
• Disability certificate for persons with disabilities
• Image of scanned photograph in jpg/ jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB
