Excellent college for Accessory Designers! Good faculties!Great exposure! Awesome opportunities!

There are both on campus as well as off campus placements that takes place, giving students a whole lot of opportunities -jewelry designer, jewelry cad designer, product designer etc. The salary ranges from 3-5 Lacs pa as a fresher. Almost all students get internships through college to whichever companies/ brands they wish to work with. Faculty members are always there to guide...

NIFT Gandhinagar. Choose it or regret it.

Placements: Being a National college, placements are always better, with a starting package of 4lpa is good and all depends on the knowledge. Department conduct seminars and expert sessions to make students aware and encourage them to think logically and analytically.

The college is perfect as a fashion temple.

Placements: Almost 100% placements with the excellent performance in all the fields. The college provides some excellent opportunities with the maximum annual packages going up to 14 lacs. The placements are going to be held mostly in Delhi and Bangalore which have some large manufacturing units to facilitate the placements.

Very much satisfied with faculty and their teaching abilities.

Placements: Almost everyone gets the placement except who don't want to take the placement from college. Placements are always more than our expectations. I think 99% of the students get placed every year. I don't know actually about the highest one but the average is around Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest is around Rs. 30,000 in the accessory designing department.

I am well satisfied with all the facilities that are being provided in this college.

Placements: The placement is about 95% of my course. It depends on your knowledge and creativity too, even if you are in the technology stream. The companies like Blackberry, Amazon, Raymond, Aravind, and many others have visited the campus. The offered package amount depends on your knowledge. The maximum package amount can be anything but the least is around Rs. 4 lakhs PA and the average package amount offered is around Rs. 5 lakhs. If you are at NIFT, Gandhinagar then you need not worry about the placem...

An affordable fashion degree.

Placements: Being the first batch (2013-2017) of fashion communication department the placements offered was good. 80% of the students got placed in good and well-known companies through the campus or off-campus. Rest of the students are pursuing masters in or outside India. Fashion communication department offers a variety of courses that are not nearly possible for the other departments and gives an individual an opportunity to choose what is best for him/her.

Strict faculty, average infrastructure, and great exposure.

Placements: The placements offered have not been good for a couple of years because the market has been down for a while. Otherwise, the placements are generally good. The various textile industries like Arvind mills, Raymonds, Ashima, etc visit the campus for the placement. The salary solely depends on the company you get placed in. It starts from about Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Overall feedback about NIFT Gandhinagar.

Placements: Placements were the usual package ranging from 3.6 to 1.8, though I personally think it would be a lot helpful for students if faculty members can do more on the alumni front. Contact alumni who have passed out 6-8 years back and they can easily get people placed. I think being a government organisation, neither the administration nor faculty members bother to work on this front, considering the fact that a few are NIFT graduates. It is a sad situation. Every college in the world has a alumni o...

Placements: Placements were not very prolific. Not sure of the percentage of the placements. Salary offered was below expectations starting from the range to 2 LPA to 5.5 LPA being the highest. Future group, Reliance Industries, Landmark and a lot of creative startups like Urban ladder were present.

Tagline of NIFT: Designers go to heaven. This perfectly defines NIFT, and our passion for designing.

Placements: Placements were good. It's a new centre come up with placement facility, otherwise we had to go to NIFT Delhi or NIFT Mumbai for the placements because companies come there only. Monthly salary offered goes from Rs. 30000 to 50000. Design houses, export houses all visit our centre. About 80% students got an intership from college, rest 20% applied on their own.

Designers go to heaven. This is all I want to say, a tag line for all the designers at NIFT.

Placements: They were not too good. I would prefer to get placements on my own. Our centre has just started the placements, before last year, the students had to go to NIFT Delhi or NIFT Mumbai for placements. Being a new placement centre, may be the first placements were not good. But I truly believe that the placements will improve day by day.

NIFT institute of fashion was my dream to be in. and I am actually living it. What to say about it which others have never said. Infrastructure is good, the resource centre of the college is really huge and amazing. The most amazing thing about NIFT is its fuel station i.e. canteen (3 floor canteen). One must visit it. It’s a treat to have food there. It has a huge basketball court and a very good Tanariri auditorium along with that it has very nice well maintained classes and labs for each depa...

NIFT Gandhinagar is perhaps the best centre for tech course. I have been in the industry for almost 6 years now and can clearly see the difference between a NIFT Gandhinagar student vs any other centre student. The facilities at the campus were nice, the tech labs, studios, comp labs. Everything was very comfortable and best. Hands on experience is of utmost priority and lot of lectures happen via actual industry used software. A lot of focus is given to personality grooming. Presentations are t...
