For getting admission in NIFT Hyderabad the candidate should appear for NIFT examination and selection will be held on the basis of NIFT score/rank of the candidate. The eligibility for admission is class 12 and selection will be entrance based. The application process for NIFT is mentioned for your reference-

• Apply online through official website of the NIFT, fill the required details and submit the application form.
• After that the applicant should pay the application fee of INR 3000 and INR 1500 as per the category.
• The date and other information will be communicated to the candidates via email.

The written tests for the NIFT 2024 exam was held on February 5, 2024. The written tests comprised a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for B. Des and M. Des candidates. 

The GAT test will be considered in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT will be offline based. Note that scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

You just got to have a passing certificate.All that matters, is your CMR that you’ll score in the entrance exam.Everything coming up your way, from your choices of the centres, your second counselling advantage, to your SPT, will more or less depend on your CMR.So, you need to score well in your entrance exam and stop worrying about your percentage in class 12 But you must have passed the 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination from a recognised Board of Secondary Education in India with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
