NIST a place to grade up yourself.

Placements: This year it has a placement of 89%. Many students from CSE and IT get a placed my top notch companies while Electronics and electrical department students are also get placed in off-campus drives. Now coming to core branches, here also placement level rises and many students got placed in core sectors.

Little satisfied because of partiality.

Placements: The placements percentage was really good. Got some really good companies on our campus. Many MNC's such as Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, Hexaware, Minstree, etc. Out of which they will take almost 300 students from our college which is really a good thing.

NIST, the tech world for freshers.

Placements: As compared to previous years, this year, the placement was not good, but still, around 200-250 students might have placed in various startup companies. In the previous batch, one boy named Shekhar Banerjee had been placed at Dropbox. If you want to study at NIST, then I would say, go for ECE branch and CSE branch.

Good placement, best faculty members.

Placements: It provides more than 50% placement. Specially for computer Science and IT branch. Good placement for ECE and EEE core company like sankalp semiconductor visits for placement drive. Average placement of 3.5 Lacs per annum is provided. The highest package for previous year was 16 Lacs placed in dropbox.

Good to learn technology and needs improvement in outdoor sports facility and connectivity to city.

Placements: The placements in the college were good. If you have little technical knowledge and manageable communication skills, you will get placed. Around, 80% of the students got placed on the campus, and the students from electronics branch get the opportunity to get placed in core companies with better packages. The other students still get to sit for placements of Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc.

An advanced technological entrance to the engineering.

Placements: Although I didn't get placed in any of the companies, still, it's a good place for CS, IT, EEE and ECE departments considering the placement. The major companies coming to NIST are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, MPhasia, Mindtree, etc. Also, other off-campus governing placements took place during the final year.

A college for the overall development.

Placements: The placement is average here this year, the branches such as IT and CSE have good placements, but core branches have not good placements. But, it offers a lot of opportunities which can help you for placements out of campus, such as NPTEL courses and internships at foreign universities.

I am missing my college days. The review of National Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Though the market situation was not good, still, our placements were good. 50% of the students got placed in the Infosys, Wipro technologies, etc. Many MNCs came for placements. The highest package offered was 12 LPA. Even we had been for Adobe placement too.

NIST is better than beast.

Placements: Many multinational companies are coming like Infosys, Cybage, Wipro, Mindtree, etc. 2016 has best placement record till now. For our batch, companies are coming, but most of them were startups, but at least 8 MNCs will come definitely. For CSE, placement is good and the worst for mechanical and civil.

NIST - The perfect institute for graduates.

Placements: The placement in NIST in 2016 was very good, but after 2017 the placement record placed down due to the no demand of software engineering students. The placement department in NIST always brings good recruitment companies to the college for the better future of students.

I can't say it is the best college, but till our batch, it is doing good.

Placements: We had some reputed organisations for placements such as Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware, Myntra and many more. That time, many electronics core companies visited like Broadcom, Cadence, Semtech, Perfect VIPs, and Entuple. Almost 60% of the students got placed during our time. This percentage may vary from year to year.

It is very good college as per teaching and placement record.

Placements: A very nice college regarding its placement record. In our batch, the major recruiter was Infosys and Wipro taken around 170 and 140 students respectively. A total number of 15 to 20 companies had visited the campus. The average salary offered was 3.6 LPA where the maximum is around 9 LPA by Myntra, and the minimum is 2.4 LPA.

If you want knowledge, then you are at the right place.

Placements: The placement of the college is decent. If you have sound knowledge of programming, then you can get a placement in the companies. The placement in the year 2017-2018 is about 50% from the college and the rest from outside the campus. In the off-campus, many senior got placed in reputed firms like JCB India and Dropbox with a package of 20 LPA. Mainly the students placed in the college are initially treated as trainees, data analyst, etc. Only 40% of the students got the internship from their so...

One of the best private colleges.

Placements: The placements of our college are good. Every year, there are near about 80-90% of the students got placed. But last year, it was only 50-60% due to down in the market. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, which was in 2016. The average package is 4-5 LPA. The companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Hitachi, Huawei Technology, SAP Labs visited the campus.

It is a very good option after IIT and NITs.

Placements: The college has a decent placement record for last few years. The major recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cybage, HCL etc. The average placement percent is 70% to 80%, and the average annual package varies from 5 LPA to 7 LPA, and somehow it depends on the students.

A little bit satisfied with placements for the batch 2018, but still, needs to be improved.

Placements: At present, the placements are not that good. Recently, many companies visited the campus, but it has grabbed just 1/3rd of the total students. The salary offered was almost Rs. 20,000 per month. Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, ACC, and few more companies have visited the campus till now. The internships are good. Flipkart and Microsoft have given the opportunity for the same, but for the 2019 batch only.

One of the best colleges with good research scope.

Placements: In 2017, 72 candidates were placed by Infosys, and 40 Wipro and focus has hired 9 candidates. More other companies like Sankalp semiconductors had visited and placed other students. Other companies like Mindtree have also visited the campus.

Somehow, satisfied with all the facilities apart from the hostel food.

Placements: The placements were very good at that time of our batch and for our senior batch. I got placed in an MNC, and there was around 80% of placement throughout the year. Some of the big MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, SAP, Huawei, Tech Mahindra, Mind Tree, and Cybage Software visited the campus.

It is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Placements: The placements are fine. I will not say very nice because many students are still left unplaced. Even though there is a placement cell in the college, the students are not placed. They call different companies when the students are not placed, but need to improve in this more.

College is good, but as the studies done are hectic, the placements are not equivalent.

Placements: The placements in the year 2015-2016 were good, but since last year, the graph is going down. Then, around 90% of the students were placed, but now due to the decrease in demand, the percentage is around 60. The average salary is around 3.5 Lacs. The highest package offered on the campus is 10-12 Lacs.
