NIST is best for students who stay in Odisha.

Placements: The highest salary package offered in our college is 17 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is about 5 LPA. Academics are good, and the main reason for me to select this college is its best teaching. We have to manage at least 8 SGPA to do internships. If we want to do an internship, it depends on our own talent. If you study properly, the best company will hire you with the best offers.

Best faculty members, good number of placements and average college infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch almost 85% students got placed with reputed companies. Placement cell is very helpful and cooperative with students. From 5th semester onwards placement classes takes place and are very helpful during placement. In final year almost every day companies come for recruitment.

Prestigious companies come for recruitment.

Placements: Placement is good. You will definitely get pre-placement training also. Companies have started coming from the month of September and October. Infosys, TCS, Mindtree, Vedanta, Wipro are the some of the prestigious companies regularly hire students from NIST, Berhampur.

Medhabruti scholarship is offered for all students whose family income is less than 8 or 6 lacs.

Placements: In this college, placement activities are quite good. Many reputed companies visit here for hiring, and mass recruiting companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc., visit here for placements. Our college provides internships to many interested students with a stipend of around Rs. 10,000 per month.

Our 2016 batch was the biggest batch of NIST.

Placements: About 25% of the students got placed in our branch, and the salary offered was ranging between Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 18,000 per month, including stay and food by the company. MEIL hired 26 students. The role isn't mentioned as now, but they will as trainees. Two students from other branches achieved the highest salary package of 16 LPA.

If you are searching for a good private engineering college, you can go for NIST.

Placements: Placements are all about luck and depends on your communication skills. In our college, most of the students of CS, IT and ECE branches were placed, but for the core branch, it is not easy to get placed. Salary packages offered here are ranging in between 1.8 LPA to 7-8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Some of the companies that mainly visit our campus for recruitment are Infosys, Wipro, Cape Electrical, etc.

Good due to the facility and teachers.

Placements: From our batch around 40% students got placed through campus recruitment. The highest salary offered by byju's was 10LPA AND the lowest salary offered by BONDADA 1.2LPA. AVG salary offered by infy was 3.6LPA. The companies came to our college was infosys, wipro, byju's, perfect VIP.

Our college is good for computer science students.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed only from the CSE branch. The lowest salary package offered was 1.9 LPA, while the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA. SAP Labs, Wipro and Infosys are the mass recruiters for our course. Project engineer, system engineer and engineers are the top roles offered here. About 90% of the students got internships in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tata Steel and others.

I had a good four years in this college with lots of memories. I also got placed from this college.

Placements: The college mostly focuses on inviting IT companies and service-based companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree for placing their students. I am dissatisfied with our college because of its excess rules and regulations and some teachers.
