The placements and the facilities provided by the college are awesome.

Placements: In the year of 2017, I experienced placement activities in NIST. IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree and other IT companies like Thought Focus and Goalsr were the part of it. Infosys selected 75 out of 400 eligible candidates and offered 3.2 LPA. Wipro selected 25 students. Mindtree takes 2 or 3 students offered 4.0 Lacs annual package, and Thought Focus took 5 students offered 4.0 LPA. Mechanical or civil companies like Jyatra, Cummins, Auto CAD related company were also part of this ye...

NIST is for those who think differently.

Placements: There was a simply awesome placement for our batch. Almost, 90% of the students were placed. Top MNCs like the Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Mindtree, Cybage, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited the campus. A maximum package of 1 million per annum was offered, and an average of 0.35 million per annum was offered in the campus.

Here, the computer and IT branch are more successful as compared to the other branches.

Placements: Here, many IT companies are visiting the campus for the placement. If a student is from IT branch, then the student has more chance of getting placed. But the only thing is that the student has to grab the job on his ability. The student needs to work whole four years. If the CGPA and required stuff by the companies will be good, then he will be placed easily.

NIST treats every student as a family. We are working together to make a good career.

Placements: The placement was good. A minimum of 65% marks is the eligibility criteria for placement drive. The highest salary is 4 LPA, and the minimum is 2.5 LPA. The roles for students are a software developer, and mainly IT companies are coming. The main companies that visit are Infosys Wipro, Tech Mahindra. The college is good for CSE and IT department.

It is a very nice college, but nowadays the faculty and placements are decreasing day by day.

Placements: The placement of this college is very nice especially in computer science and IT Branch. In the year 2016, it was one of the top private colleges ranked 69th in raking of top 100 hundred private colleges. It has nice placement until 2016 but nowadays due to market demand year by year the percentage placements are decreasing, and facilities are also degrading.

Good placements in 2015-16. Dissatisfied with the mess and canteen. Good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements in the college are good for the branches like CSE, ECE, and IT. 2016 batch was one of the best batches for the placements in the college. In 2015-16, the highest package offered is 10 lakhs, the lowest package offered is 3.2 lakhs, and the average package offered is 4.0 lakhs. About 80-85% of the students were placed. The institution on which you can trust.

Placements: The placement is good as many of the leading IT sector companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, etc., visit the campus to hire the students. Apart from IT sector, the college calls few of the electronics based companies like Sankalp semiconductor, Cadence, etc. Overall, the placements are considered good.

Placements: The placement process is good. Mainly, software companies came but now onwards, from 2017, some core companies are also coming. In our senior batch, the placement percentage was just 70% to 75%. The average salary offered was 4 LPA. It will be beneficial for any aspirant to come and join here for a better future.

Placements: Talking about placement for mechanical is, of course, a difficult task but there is always hope. Our college offers 8-10 lakhs packages. While talking of companies, they are Infosys, Google, etc. Now it is mandatory for every student to go for internships via own campus or from others'.

Refugee for the CS & IT students but it needs sometime to bring all the branches at the same level.

Placements: The placements for this year are still going on. Last year the off-campus selection of candidates was very good. One of the candidates of computer science branch got a job in google dropbox too. The placements for computer science, IT, ECE, EEE are much better concerning CE, ME, IE, EE. The record before this year placement was very good at an average of 80-85% of the students got placed. CE and ME are the branches which are started recently.

Great place for doing R&D, great placement, rigorous teaching regime & great infrastructure.

Placements: NIST is one the top private colleges in the state of Odisha. About 70%-80% of students were placed in my batch. The highest salary in my year was 10 lakhs pa, average was 4 lakhs. Some of the IT companies were Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. Also, many core companies like Broadcom, CoreL, Sankalp Semi-conductors, Perfect VIP, etc. had also recruited the students. Students were recruited as trainees for the role of software engineers as well as electronic engineers. ...

Placements: Placement rate was 95% for our batch. The lowest offer was 2.8L pa and the highest was 9.5L pa. Companies like SAP, Huawei, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Cybage, etc. had recruited. Mostly they were from IT background. People had been selected for an internship in reputed universities of Taiwan. Through off-campus, people were also selected for Microsoft with a package of 9L per annum. The placements were very good. College review of NIST Berhampur

Placements: The placement here only depends on IT companies. If IT companies are in good mood, then they will hire in abundant but if companies are in problem then the students also face problems. Very less scope for core branches but is good for IT and CSE branches.

NIST - First step towards my goal.

Placements: Placement for 2016 batch was very good. Around 85% students of our senior batch 2016 were hired. But there was a decrease in the placement percentage for 2017 batch as compared to the 2016 batch. Few major hiring companies were Wipro Limited, Infosys Limited, Tech Mahindra, Cybage Software, Mphasis, Sankalp Semiconductor, Yusata Infotech, Ultra engineers, etc.

I will give this college a 3 star rating.

Placements: In our batch, placement was good. But only IT companies were there. So if you are taking IT or computer science branch, then that's a good decision. But according to what I heard from my juniors, their placement was horrible. Maybe it was because of down in IT industry or something else but that was it.

Placements: The placements for our batch was done by the institution with recruiters including big names like SAP Labs, Huawei Technologies, Hitachi, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro and any more. The highest package offered was 10 LPA. The placement records of the senior batch were also equally good with Myntra offering a 13 LPA package but the 2017 batch was facing some issues with the placements as many companies didn't turn up for recruitments. Placements: The college is known for its placements. Last year the placement was about 85 percent. The highest salary was approx 9 lakhs/annum offered by Huawei and the lowest was approx 2 lakhs/annum by Shri Ram Panels. But the scenario this year is not the same. Placements are not good. Infosys Ltd, Wipro and Tech Mahindra took a total of approximately 150 students out of 700. The average package was 3.2 lakhs/annum.
