Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and the curriculum, good placements, infrastructure.
Placements: Placements for my senior batch is full on swing. First years are getting many internship offers for winter and summer session. Student from School of Management NITK have got international internship in previous years. Already many companies have visited for placements and they are yet to plan our final round of interview. For this semester many MNC's have visited our campus.
Infrastructure: NITK has 300 acres lush green campus with a private beach. NITK has got Central library facility, Newly constructed E library provides insights to our students community. School of Management, NITK Surathkal has best infrastructure. Classrooms are equipped with modern teaching tools and of course not to forget classrooms are fully air-conditioned. A separate business lab provides ample facilities to access information using internet. Department has a set up its own library to help it's students growing needs. College provides free Wi-Fi connection with 25gb download limit per student. Campus has various other facilities like a sports complex, Play ground, Swimming Pool, student activity centre, various club's etc.
Faculty: All the faculty members of School of Management hold Ph.D. and they carry experience from industries as well. Most of our faculty members are graduated from IITs, NITs and Central Universities, BITS etc. They interact well and clear our doubt's. Each class they help us to learn new things. They have developed a different approach using various techniques in their teaching. Student community has benefited from these kind of approach. Course curriculum is par with industry standards. Department has introduced new subjects to meet growing industry needs.
Other: NITK is known for its event's. Having 40 plus club's inside NITK keeps students very active and also help them showcase there talent. The biggest technical fest Engineer and South India's second the largest cultural fest Incident is the star attraction every year. School of Management has international Students exchange programme and every year students get to go to Switzerland and China under this summer university programme.

    NITK : MBA - a short review - 2018 Batch.
Placements: Placement of the previous batch was good compared to previous batches. 30 students got placed out of 44 from previous batch. The average package is 5 Lacs per annum. The only thing is students need to work hard for placements as there is a little support from the training and placement cell of the college for MBA Department.
Infrastructure: From infrastructure point of view, the school of management is better compared to any other courses in NITK, as it is equipped with AC classrooms and projectors. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and library offers 4 books per student for a certain period of time. There is a health centre within the campus which offers free checkups and medicines if required. Sports are numerous, you name it, the sport is being played by someone. There is also a international level swimming pool inside the campus for the students.
Faculty: Course curriculum is a bit old compared to the industry, but the professors are very talented and have in depth knowledge. Teachers mainly use projectors and powerpoints for teaching. Industry experience is provided with international summer university programme. Also there is a mandatory internship a student need to do for completion of the course.
Other: NITK is full of events, fests, and activities. The campus crowd is amazing and for fests like 'engineer' and 'incident', it's really difficult to control the crowd. It's like a festival for the whole Bangalore city.

It has the great infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: Last year, the placements of MBA were not up to the mark, but this year, for my batch 2016-2018, the placements are better, and the companies are coming in with packages ranging from 6 lpa to 14 lpa. Basically, the placements start from the end of October till March in the final year. The roles offered are a market researcher, product developer, etc. Internships in MBA have to arranged by the students themselves, so the stipend ranged from 5,000 to 20,000 per month. But, the B.Tech students were and are placed in good companies with packages ranging from 14 lpa to 35 lpa.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge with all the necessary facilities available like labs, 2 libraries, sports complex, health centre, and Wi-Fi enabled campus. There are 14 hostels for boys and girls which have their own mess and night canteens. There are outlets of big restaurants inside the campus for day canteen and shopping complex for the daily essentials. Many of the classrooms are air-conditioned. Overall, the infrastructure is 4.5/5.
Faculty: The faculty here are highly-educated with 80% of them being PhD and post PhD. The teaching methods are updated as the use of digital media has increased. Students get industry exposure nationally as well as internationally. I got the opportunity to visit Switzerland and France and understand their industrial practices. The course curriculum needs to be updated in some aspects.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and infrastructure provided to us.
Placements: The placement in NITK commences in the final year. Few of our seniors have placed this year, and the remaining companies are yet to come. Some of the companies that came for placements are Amazon, Tesco, Fidelity investments, Wipro Ltd, Oracle India, Mahindra, Delphi etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious in each department and have separate buildings for engineering and school of management. There is vegetarian canteen available near the school of management. There are several other food shops. There is Wi-Fi facility 25 GB per day, and it resets every midnight. The library consists of three floors ground floor with the book bank, digital library etc. In the first floor, there is an area for newspaper reading, and the second floor is the self study area.
Faculty: My experience with faculty is really good, and they are available most of the times when you need them. They are qualified, and they expose us to the practical application too. Various visuals are used for teaching, and the course curriculum is really useful.

NITK School of Management MBA review
Placements: Don't expect placements to be like that of a regular B-school. From our batch, 30% got placed. The maximum package was 7.5 lakhs and the minimum was 3.5 lakhs. No help from the faculty or any department for placement. Many of my classmates got a job through pool drives, where the NITK brand gives an advantage.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, don't compare with regular B-schools. Only 60-80 students comprise the entire MBA course. The first year class is an erstwhile electrical lab modified into a classroom. High-speed internet available. Hospitals, shops, playgrounds, private beach are the things which are unique to this college.
Faculty: The faculty members are good at heart. They won't fail you in any exams even though no help is done in placements. The curriculum is outdated and dates back to the 90s. They are mostly research oriented with a little practical experience. For better domain knowledge, study through online portals through the high-speed internet available.

Good placements in 2017 and absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Its a college where you get highest placements for UG. Even I got placed in one of the good companies, Alvas pragathi is conducted every year so that many unemployed graduates get placed. Many people with great expectations come alvas pragathi wishing for job and out 10, 5 get jobs. Alvas college is good for graduates to get placed.
Infrastructure: For degree graduates there is a building of 5 floors and each floor consists 10-15 classrooms. Classrooms have 4 fans and tube lights, aqua guard is installed for drinking facilities. A floor consists if 2 washrooms and the building is built strong enough to hold 60000 graduates every year. All the disaster management is handled properly.
Faculty: Projectors are used in case if need all faculties were available within working hours and all were reliable. All course had syllabus to be followed and they did the same. Each department were separated to differentiate among courses provided by college.cashier counter is also maintained and the faculty members are very helpful.
