One of my best choosen in life.

Infrastructure: NITK Surathkal has excellent infrastructure and facilities. The labs in the mechanical department are up-to-date and technologically advanced. Wi-Fi is available in every corner of the department. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and blackboards. The department even has a 3D printer. There are two libraries, one where digital books are available and one where normal books are available. Both the libraries are equipped with centralised air conditioning and are open till 12:00 Pm. Do you think your JEE Preparations are worth National Institute of Technology, Suratkal (Karnataka)?

Infrastructure: Before answering this question, let me tell you that I have visited NIT Calicut and my answers will be based on their comparison. The infrastructure and buildings like CIDS and CRF are top modern buildings in NitK. We have a Central Library and a Digital Library. The construction for a new Library is going on and we can soon expect them. The hostels are average. The mess food is okayish. Every hostel has appointed GMC and MC for representing the hostelite and their mess food. So, make sure you v...

Best college life. If you get your JoSAA seat, don’t leave your seat at this campus.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very good, we get around 1000 Mbps network with LAN cables. Classrooms and libraries are very clean and peaceful. Best place and best college to study. Quality of hostel rooms is okay, and food is getting better day by day. There is no need to worry.

It is a place where students can find a new version of themselves.

Infrastructure: Hostels are not very great because this is a government college. They are decent. There are 20 hostels for boys and 5 hostels for girls. There are 2 sports complexes. They include all games. The ground is well-maintained. Each hostel has common rooms so that everyone can chill.

A Review of NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The ECE Department has well-equipped labs with modern electronic equipment and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms with projectors and blackboards. There's also a central library with a vast collection and a dedicated ECE section. Hostel life features some clean and basic hostels with laundry facilities and a common room. There's a healthcare center with qualified medical staff, sports facilities, and a swimming pool.

Campus is lush green and has its own charm.

Infrastructure: The campus life is so beautiful. You'll have one cultural fest, namely Incident, and another technical fest, namely Engineer. For PG students, there is the PG cup, where you can play and compete in all the games and sports. The hostel facility is provided for all the students on campus. The hostel facility is better, and the food you find is okay. Not that well, but can be managed. The registration process was all done by the college website.

National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is above average. The classrooms are near good but slightly old-fashioned. We don't get the lavish classroom. The hostels here are average because the hostels are very old and there are common washrooms for all years.

A journey through NITK.

Infrastructure: NITK has good infrastructure, including clean hostels, a well-equipped library, and good labs. The classrooms are spacious, and some have a beach view. The food is good, and we can choose between a vegetarian or non-vegetarian mess. The college has most sports facilities, including two playgrounds.

Overall, it is completely fine. The college has good infrastructure and a good climate.

Infrastructure: Two fests are celebrated on a large scale: one is Engineer or Engi, a tech fest held mostly in September every year, and the other is Incident or Inci, a cultural fest celebrated in March. Many other cultural and sports events occur throughout the year. Numerous technical and social clubs are present, and recruitment takes place at the beginning of the academic year. The library contains almost all the books needed for both academics and non-academics.

Overall, it’s good, but the NIRF ranking is decreasing year by year.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi and labs are available, although the lab syllabus has remained the same for 50 years. The classrooms resemble old high school rooms. The libraries are the best aspect here, while the mess food is average. The night canteens are okay, but you may need to wait for a longer time. Medical facilities are good, but sports facilities are below average; the swimming pool has been under construction for the past three years.

I like the teachers, especially Dr. Sheena, who is one of the best teachers here.

Infrastructure: The hostel rooms were well maintained, and the food provided catered to all regions, with a wide variety of options. The hygiene and quantity offered at the given rate were commendable. Students would queue up for meals, and the hostel environment was a mix of different cultures, promoting a conducive atmosphere for growth. Strict hostel timings ensured minimal disturbance at night, creating a peaceful campus environment.

NIT in a nutshell by a second year civil student.

Infrastructure: Facilities on this campus are top-notch. The labs we have for our department are actually very impressive and they keep getting new machinery to update our lab and make it up to standard. Wi-Fi is provided everywhere on campus. Hostel is better than what I expected for a government college. Its double sharing for girls in first year and second year. The third-year majority of the students get double sharing and a few people who are quick get single sharing. Food in the mess is standard; nothing ...

A look into NITK - great place to study and have fun.

Infrastructure: Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Girls hostel has newer blocks and is very good. A little bit of an issue with Wi-Fi and internet at times, but usually it's good. The college has a reading room, gym, basketball court, and a lot of open space to walk around.

The overall rating of the college is 9/10. The ranking of NITK Surathkal is 17 this year.

Infrastructure: The department building is newly constructed, with modern labs and classrooms. Wi-Fi and library facilities are available 24/7. The hostel rooms and mess food are also good, and there is a night canteen. Two sports complexes, a cricket ground, a football ground, badminton courts, and volleyball courts are available. An international-level sports swimming pool is also present. A central research facility allows students to work on projects 24/7.
