Placements: They provide placements in BPOs for graduates and even in insurance companies. The job profile is basically concerned with call centres of different companies. Mainly the work is problem-solving and the average salary is around 10-15 thousand. For example, ICICI Insurance Company, Concentrix and many more companies visited. They provided a satisfactory salary for a graduates to work in call centers.
Placements: The placement scenario in the college was not satisfactory. Around 4 to 5 companies came for recruiting the students. The job profile offered to the students was not satisfactory. They were mostly offered the job at call centers and the operational level. The average package offered was around 1.5 to 2 lakhs per annum.
Placements: As far as the status of the undergraduate colleges is concerned, the college has got some decent placement opportunities. Various banks and companies like Genpact, etc., recruit students from the campuses. The highest placement package from the college offered to the students is as good as Rs. 5.5 lacs per annum.
Placements: Placements in 2012-15: 60% of the batch. Placement 2013-16: 65% of the batch. Highest salary: 4 lpa. Lowest salary: 1.8 lpa. Mean salary: 2 lpa. Companies that visited: TCS, L&T, Tommy Hilfiger, Aon, etc. Roles offered: client handling, store managers, clerks. No internships.
Placements: There are about 6 companies that visited our campus such as British telecom, Aon which offered the salary packages of 1.2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. There are about 120 students who got placed out of 500 students. The students were not interested, due to the jobs offered, which are mainly of BPO, sales agents with either low salary or odd timings and locations. The jobs offered required proficiency in English followed by a basic aptitude test. But the good thing is that our faculty members genuinely tried...
Placements: Placements are not an important criteria over here. Although students get placed, a majority of the students remain uninterested from the offers received. The package offered was quite low and the average salary was about Rs 2 lakh. Mostly, companies had similar job profiles as that of BPOs.
Placements: There are about 4-8 companies which visit for placements for BCom. Companies like Wipro, ICICI, TCS visit the campus for placements. The average package provided was 6 to 8 lakh and almost 30 percent of the students get placed because of their good academics in graduation. Jobs which are offered are generally for sales executives, management trainee etc.
Placements: Placement is average. Students appear for the TCS interview and get placed for around 12-15k per month for software engineer jobs. There are other companies also but none of them are related to software engineer jobs. The placement HOD was Mrs. Shalini Lamba in the year 2015. She is a very supportive teacher and a great mentor.
Placements: Placements are quite good for those who perform well in academics. Approximately 70% of the applicants got selected in the in campus placements and internship programs. The stipend varies from 5,000 per month to 11,000 per month. Companies such as Vocaloid, Wipro, Tata, Aditya-Birla Group, Vodafone, Roasters and many local companies come for fresh recruitments.
Placements: There is not much to offer in terms of placements. There are very few opportunities when it comes to placements at NPGC. Some sectors like BPO and insurance companies participate in the placement process that give very low amount of remuneration. Though there is a placement cell in the college to administer the placements, still the salaries offered and the companies that come are not that good.
Placements: The placements are quite acceptable. A lot of companies visit our campus to select students from all fields. These companies have good reputation. If you are looking for a normal job (after graduation), then you can easily get one here. Jobs are normally related to the BPO sector but some companies with a good offer also visit. The highest package lies between 2.5 -3.5 lakh per annum.
Placements: The highest offered was 3+ lakhs per annum and the lowest was 2 lakhs per annum for the undergraduate students. IT companies visited mostly accompanied with BPO sector companies. 10% of the batch got placed only. Placements were not that good in this college but it was known for its commerce course so gives a little edge to someone if they want to go for higher studies. Internship was totally based on your preference if you want to do or not. It was not mandatory. For placements, not to expect m...
Placements: The placements of our senior batch went really well. As B.Com is not a professional degree so people usually go for higher studies rather than seeking employment. However, almost all the students who were interested in placements got placed. The average package was around 3 lacs/a. The roles offered to students was mainly from BPOs and few banks like ICICI also recruited from our college. Internships were optional for our course so campus did not arrange for the same. ...
Placements: Placement is quite average in terms of the package offered to the students. The reason behind it are the seats in nonprofessional courses is more in comparison to professional courses. But from few years, the situation has changed very much and is improving year by year. Lots of big names are visiting the campus like TCS, Private Banks, etc.
It is an awesome college. I had one of my best experiences in the 3 years spent in this college. I met new people and learned new things. Every year gave me a different experience. I found some crazy people in this college and talented too. Friends made here are friends for life. Also, balance is needed in every aspect.
The National PG College is the best college under the Lucknow University. It has the best commerce faculty in the entire state. It is located in the middle of the city. The campus is small though. Cultural activities and extracurricular activities are rare and the campus life is poor. The rankings are good and the faculty is the best.
The good thing about National P.G College is that it provides the students with good study material. The bad thing is that people don't have the proper manners to deal with the students and there is a lack of extra-curricular activities which is important for enhancing the skills of the students.
This college is very good for all commerce courses and B.Sc. This college provides the best faculty with most understanding teachers who guide in all possible manner to get the student out of the class 12th atmosphere for studies. Regular internal assessments and projects allow clarity of all concepts and theorems thus, teachers also provide a great amount of help for raising the morale of students. Also, no mobile phones allowed in the college campus which enable students to focus on studies al...
National P G college is an autonomous college of Lucknow university and as it claims it is the only college in Lucknow that has been given this honour thus in turn it has autonomy in syllabus and checking but it provides degree in the name of Lucknow university which is a good thing moreover it is the only college here that follows semester system in undergraduate courses national p g college is following the footsteps of Delhi university i.e. it is building its education to the level of DU if y...
Placements: More than 50% of students were placed in my college. The highest package was 5 LPA, which was quite good. Wipro, TCS, and other companies were the top recruiters. Many students got internships, which helped them secure good positions in companies later. Marketing and sales were the top roles offered by the companies.
