As an attempt to impart knowledge of law and legal affairs to the rural students through national law courses, Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI), has established a law college named, Nehru Academy of Law, Palakkad (NAL Palakkad) in 2015. The institute is managed by NGI consisting of eminent lawyers as faculty members. With the objective of delivering world-class quality in education and training, the institute offers a total of three law courses at UG and PG level.

NAL Palakkad offers three courses, including LLB, BBA LLB and BCom LLB programmes. For seeking admission candidates need to register themselves online on Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala portal. A quick overview of NAL Palakkad selection process is listed below:
- The selection of candidates to institute’s law programmes is based on their Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) score for first 50 per cent seats followed by KLEE counselling
- The KLEE counselling process for shortlisted candidates is managed and regulated by CEE, Kerala based on which the candidates are allotted seats. The seat allotment-cum-counselling process is based on college cutoff and candidate's preference for courses

NAL Palakkad LLB Admission 2021
NAL Palakkad LLB is a three-year programme consisting of six semesters. The maximum number of candidates admitted to the programme is 60. Out of these 60 seats, 50 per cent seats are filled through score obtained by candidates in KLEE, followed by a counselling round while remaining 50 per cent seats are for management quota candidates. The management quota candidates are evaluated based on merit of aggregate obtained by candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam. There is no upper or lower age limit criteria for seeking admission to this course.

NAL Palakkad Admission 2021: BBA LLB, BCom LLB
The institute also offers two integrated programmes, including BBA LLB and BCom LLB. These programmes are spread over five years consisting of ten semesters. Each semester comprises 90 instructional days having six hours per day, including lectures, seminars, moot court, debates and test papers. Interested applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the admission year to be eligible for seeing admission. The admission process of these two integrated programmes is similar to LLB programme which is through KLEE score, followed by counselling for first 50 per cent seats and through merit for remaining 50 per cent seats.

NAL Palakkad Application Process 2021
NAL Palakkad application process usually commences in May. Candidates willing to seek admission to any of the law courses offered at the institute need to register themselves on the online admission portal of CEE Kerala. For first 50 per cent seats which are filled through KLEE, candidates also need to register for counselling process, if their name is on KLEE rank link on official website of CEE, Kerala in online mode. The step-by-step process to fill NAL Palakkad application process is listed below:
- Visit the official website of CEE, Kerala (www. kerala.gov.in). On its homepage, click on the link of the programme for which you wish to seek admission
- Register yourself by filling you email ID. Also, create an alpha-numeric password of characters. You will receive your application number on registered email ID. These three credentials will be used to login to your created account
- Log in to your account by filling the above-mentioned credentials and hit ‘Login’ button. The application form opens up
- In the first section, fill the application form by addressing details, including your educational, personal and contact information
- Upload scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPEG format (up to 30 kb). Also, upload other mandatory enclosures in PDF format (up to 300 kb)
- Pay the prescribed application fee in online mode through debit card/ credit card/ net banking. For offline mode payment, candidates can generate e-challan and pay at any authorised bank. The application fee for General candidates is Rs 650, while for SC/ ST candidates, it is Rs 325
- Once the application form is completely filled and reviewed, click on ‘Final Submit’ button. Download the payment confirmation receipt and duly-filled application form and take a print out of the same for future references
