    Is B.E./B.Tech at Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC) a good choice?

    Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what we found:

    * Pros:
    + Strong faculty with a good grasp of the subject matter
    + Well-maintained infrastructure, including laboratories and classrooms
    + Decent hostel facilities and amenities
    + Regular cultural events and fests, including Blooms and Enigma
    + Good placement record, with many students getting placed in reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, Byju's, and others
    * Cons:
    + Strict rules and regulations, particularly regarding attendance and discipline
    + Limited autonomy and freedom for students
    + Teaching style may not be engaging for all students
    + Pass percentage is relatively lower compared to other institutions
    + Limited interaction with professors, making it challenging to clarify doubts

    Overall, NCERC seems to offer a solid educational foundation, particularly in the fields of mechatronics and computer science. However, students may face some limitations in terms of flexibility and creativity. With a good attitude towards studies and extracurricular activities, students can make the most of their time at NCERC.

    The best college for Mechatronics campus in Kerala.
    Placements: College has autonomous status. Last year, companies like TCS, Wipro, Tata, and Apollo hired students from our college. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Students with a 7 CGPA in exams can also apply for campus placements. In upcoming years, we will have more placements.
    Infrastructure: Mechatronics department is one of the top courses at NCERC. Mechatronics is related to automation and the automatic field. The department is located in the Aryabhatta block. It has a Mechatronics lab and a net lab. CAD and CAM are also available. Hostel is near the campus. The food is very nice, and free Wi-Fi is also available. Campus has a large ground for sports activities.
    Faculty: Each department has different faculty members for every subject. They have good knowledge of the courses they teach. They have completed their Master's in the related subjects, so they can easily understand the topics and teach students better. Every six months, we have a semester exam consisting of 40 marks. The minimum passing mark is 40 out of 100.

    The Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre is one of the best colleges in South India.
    Placements: Almost 60 percentage of students were placed in the mechanical engineering course. 4 LPA is the highest package and 1 LPA is the lowest package. Ashok Leyland is the top company. This is the information about our batch. Mainly, the unskilled students are the reason for the lack of placement.
    Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure available in our college are very suitable and more advanced. Also, the infrastructure and buildings are totally the best in our college. The availability of labs and hostel is most suitable for students.
    Faculty: The university exams are very complicated and the syllabus is very tough. Mainly, the lack of study leaves and syllabus coverage are issues. We have not received good results in the exam due to the evaluation method. Kerala Technological University is very fast.
    Other: Mechanical engineering is the best one of the courses. Also, the most offered placement is in this course. Different courses fall under the course. But also the syllabus is very old. Please improve the syllabus .

    The best option for Artificial Intelligence currently.
    Placements: Yes, our college provides better placements in recent years. There is no particular criteria for placements; skilled students will get placements easily. There is no specified percentage of students who get placed. The average salary package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, WIPRO, Infosys.
    Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure, and it's very wide, with a naturally beautiful green campus. The campus is well-designed and elevated. The main positive aspect of the college is its infrastructure. The hostel provides good accommodation and decent food. The college conducts sports and games every year.
    Faculty: Faculty are educated and qualified, but not every faculty member is efficient in teaching the course. They are well-educated but may not know how to interact with students. Some teachers are excellent, and semester exams are moderate. Faculty members highlight important topics, and similar questions may appear on the question paper.
    Other: I chose Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which are only offered at two colleges, and the best among them is Nehru College. That's why I joined NCERC.

    The best college for campus placements and courses having a future scope.

    Other: Mechatronics is the best course to choose as the future will be related to automation and AI. The college conducts ‘Bloom’ as a part of arts fest. It’s a very big programme. In every year, NSL conducts sports. After college, in the evening, the ground is open for cricket, football, etc.

    Really, too amazing college.
    Placements: There are various major companies that come for placements. Depending on your backlogs, the packages vary, but for an average student, you can get around 4 LPA. Roles vary based on your skills, such as Quality Engineer, etc. Even students with backlogs can apply for placements.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure and labs are of top class and have every piece of equipment. The help that the lab assistants provide is also amazing. The labs are of top quality with upgrades to the latest technology, constantly updating every piece of equipment, and ensuring proper servicing.
    Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, and the curriculum is not easy. Even though an average student can easily get a good grade. The most challenging semester for every student is the 3rd semester, which is common to all departments. The subjects for the first year are common to all departments.
    Other: It's an amazing department with lots of opportunities. The college campus is amazing, with friendly faculty members.

    The campus was great overall.
    Placements: The placements were really low in our academic session. Some of the companies offered less salary packages. Main companies were UST, Speridian, KGISL, etc.. Most of the companies offered roles of software engineer, data analyst, python developer, front end developer, etc.
    Infrastructure: The classrooms were good. There was Wi-Fi which we could use. The labs were also great but some of the systems were not working. There were air conditioners available. The food in the canteen was good overall. But sometimes the food was not tasty, only sometimes.
    Faculty: I felt some subjects in my course were irrelevant like Maths, Physics and Chemistry. These subjects are not relevant to IT field. And also engineering graphic too. I think it is not needed. The passing percentage is 40%. The teachers were also good in their subjects.
