Few students receive internships as a result of our course because the college does not give any type of internships, thus students must try them on their own.

Journey of a simple student of NSEC.
Placements: In our college, 80% of students are placed in campus selection. My college's highest package is 34 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA, with the average package being 6.5 LPA offered by companies. Routine companies visiting my college include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. Only Bhajan students got internships from our course, and companies like TCS and Cognizant give internships. Cognizant gives internships with a stipend of 14k to 15k.
Infrastructure: In our department, the infrastructure is very well maintained. The Computer Science and Engineering labs are equipped with Wi-Fi, and classrooms are maintained with AC. The library in our college is also well maintained. Our college does not have a hostel, but there are many PG rooms and private hostels available near the college. The college provides food, and meals and snacks are also available. Medical facilities are also available, and sports games are organized by the college every month.
Faculty: In our college, teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is very good. The teachers are very friendly, and most of them have advanced degrees and are passionate about teaching. In our curriculum, students go to the industry and are ready for what is required in any company. All students give their best. In our college, semester exams are very tough, so the students study carefully and work hard. Many of my friends are affiliated with Makout, those from Roma Teacher Government universities. The exams are tough, but 90% of students pass the examination.
Other: I chose this course because I like coding and want to take a job in the IT sector with a high package salary. I also want to help people who are not very rich. The best thing about this course is that it is very easy and interesting. There is no need to improve our Computer Science course, as it is good compared to other courses. Events are organized by the college both on and off-campus, such as departmental fests, etc.

Review by a third-year student.
Placements: We have a placement cell which is very active, giving the required industry training. It will not help you with your internships but will do so for placements. Most of the visiting companies are mass recruiters like TCS and Cognizant. This year, many folks cracked TCS Digital, which offers a package of 6-9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has a sports area, a library, a reading room, etc. Recently, they have introduced gyms too. They also have a playground where football and volleyball are often played by the students. They also have a garden in the middle. The whole college is divided into 3 blocks. No, the institute doesn't have a residential facility. You have to take a private mess or PG depending on your budget.
Faculty: The faculty is good and very supportive in terms of academics. They are ready to teach you even at night on call. I guess most of the colleges have this kind of faculty. I am pursuing B.Tech (IT) from this college. To enroll here, you must have a good rank in WBJEE or JEE Main. Preferably, it’s easier to score in JEE Main for this college. I chose this because it was near my hometown, and my friends also joined it.
Other: Overall, the college is good. You can expect much return on investment from the college. Placements are good (majorly mass recruiters). College life is decent, and the faculty is good. I joined it at a rank of 77,000 in JEE Main through the WBJEE phase. If your WBJEE marks are not very good and you are looking for an okay-type college near your hometown, this can be a good option.

Fine college in terms of value for money. Placements are somewhat low, around 3 LPA.
Placements: Of course, not all the students get placement, but you will get opportunities if your grades are fine. Almost no core jobs are available here. The highest package lies between 10-14 LPA in software-based MNCs, and the average is around 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Thoughtworks recruit here. The college does not provide any internships. Roles offered are System Engineer, Associate Software Developer, SDE 1, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is fine; the labs are well-equipped but need some newer machines. However, the size is a bit small for the number of students. There is a canteen, but it is also a bit small. The canteen's price and quality are just fine. There are no hostel facilities at NSEC.
Faculty: The ratio of good teachers is 1:1; some have a lot of knowledge, while some struggle to express concepts. The overall quality of teaching is average. Semester exams could be difficult for students who haven't studied anything. If you have studied a little, you can pass the exams. If you want to score the highest, you need to study daily.
Other: If you are getting WBJEE rank around 15K to 20K, I think you should take admission here. Labs should focus more on practical work, but all other aspects are just fine. Annual fests, meetups, and sports events are conducted regularly.

The college is good enough to get you placed.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed in the 4th year. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company. It depends on students for internships. The average salary package offered last year was 16 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is easily available. It is good in speed. Labs are good and proper discipline and equipment are followed. There are all labs available in engineering with proper equipment and machines. The food quality of the canteen is tasty, but it is small.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but give pressure to students on projects and all. Our faculty members are very good at teaching. Coding teachers are very good, no tension of it. There is a commerce ground study for engineers. Semester exams are tough, so you need to prepare everything for semester-end exams.
Other: I am happy to choose this core branch as many of them got placed from this branch only. There are many fests held every 3 to 4 months. Events and sports are also held within inter-college competitions.

Journey of 3rd year IT student.
Placements: There are 85% of placements avialable in our college. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies for our IT branch. About 40% of students get internships in TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Wipro. The major role offered for my branch is software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our branch has one building for conducting classes and all classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning. In the IT branch, all labs are equipped with advanced machines and software. Our college does not have a hostel, but outside the campus there are many private PGs available for students. The food quality in PGs is average. In terms of sports, this college does not perform well because it has a small ground.
Faculty: The professor is very qualified. They have good knowledge and experience. The teaching skills are also very unique. This course is very helpful for industry-level work. In this course, we learn about the software part. Semester exam is moderate. Students can pass the semester exam easily with medium focus. The pass percentage of students is 85%.
Other: I chose this course because the opportunities are very good in this field. Looking at the future, this course is very promising. Through this course, we have opportunities to become software developers. I wish the college would improve the curriculum of the branch. Mesmerize, Infinito, and Zest are all fests held in this college. In terms of extracurricular activities, this college is very good.

Good College with Decent Placements, Campus Life Could Improve.
Placements: Approximately 60% of students have secured placements, with the highest package being 12 LPA, the average at 5 LPA, and the lowest at 3 LPA. Notable recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. About 30% of students have undertaken internships with TCS and Infosys. Prominent roles offered encompass data analyst, software developer, testing engineer, Android developer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at our college are well-maintained and satisfactory. We have reliable Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, classrooms, and a library. Although there is no hostel on our premises, the canteen and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Our faculty is supportive, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is decent; however, the course curriculum, dictated by MAKAUT, is considered outdated, prompting students to supplement their learning for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass percentage of around 90%.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in interacting with computers and mobile devices, coupled with a passion for coding. The expectation was that this course would lead to better placements, providing a favorable return on investment.
