Achieving success and shining like a star.

Placements: The percentage of students was very low as very few people genuinely opt for this course. No proper placements were held. Students were offered different roles apart from their respective courses and on a lower package, they were offered roles like sales, customer support, etc., which are irrelevant to their respective courses.

It is an excellent college compared to any other government college.

Placements: There are no placements at our college. It is a college that provides only general courses like B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., so placements are very low compared to any other college.

College review by Adarsh.

Placements: The good aspects are that the teachers are friendly and the college has a good campus and modern teaching facilities with a Wi-Fi connection. You have to score a minimum of 60 percent in your last exam. I don't have knowledge about the placements; this information is not available.

Our college has excellent placement opportunities and good-quality faculty members.

Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, etc., visited our campus. Almost 75% of students got internships from our course in companies like TCS, Adobe, etc. Top roles offered in our course were software developer, data analyst, etc.

Our college is good with a peaceful area.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placements and other students are going to higher studies. The lowest salary package is Rs.20,000 per month, the maximum salary package is Rs.60,000 per month, and the average salary package is Rs.45,000 per month. Agriculture companies and Forest department hire students.

I would recommend this college.

Placements: This college doesn't provide you placement or recruitment after passing out of college. No internship or campus is available or provided by the college. Select the course or degree in which you want to study and get going with it. College fees are very affordable.

Review of New Alipore College.

Placements: A lot of students who pass out attend off-campus drives and many do get a job. Some go to a better college for PG courses. Direct placement is not mostly available but the scope is given. They let us know about off-campus placements. Some of our seniors got placements after B.Sc. which encouraged us.

Our college faculty was good and educated.

Placements: Students are not getting enough marks due to a negative relationship with Calcutta University which it is affiliated. After the course, they enable a Masters course or any teaching or government job preparation but they don't have any direct placement opportunity.

It has one of the best CS departments under CU.

Placements: Most of the students went for higher studies, and few did work but not from college placements. Our HOD offered several placements offers from various companies. Most of the students went for MCA and MSc. You won't get internships from the college campus, but if you try off-campus, you can surely get it. It is not a technical school.

There are really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed from our course. The highest salary offered in our college is Rs. 26,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. There are no recruiting companies for our course, or students didn't get internships from our course.

Review of New Alipore College.

Placements: The placements aren't provided by the college because it is a degree college. This field has a huge scope to reach my new goals or placement. So, this is very useful for me. The college is not eligible for giving jobs. We have enough percentage but the college authority doesn't provide placements.

Our college is good. All activities are conducted, but you won't get placements.

Placements: There is a minimum of 20 students in the computer science batch. No salary package is offered. It is a government undertaking college, so any company did not visit till now. About 2-3 students got an internship. In our college, many courses are offered like BA, B.Sc and B.Com, and every section is divided.

I suggest not to join this college.

Placements: I passed-out in 2020, and there were no placements held. The B.Com HOD said that after completing graduation, the interested students can give interviews in TCS by submitting all the necessary documents. But TCS company is refusing to take interviews.

It is a very good college with very supportive teachers and helpful students union.

Placements: A students' counselling cell is available in the institution. There is a committee that meets the representatives of different organisations and arranges seminars and workshops for students. Representatives from different organisations conduct campus recruitment drives throughout the year for the students of different streams.

New Alipore College - a lovable college in my life. The faculty and staff are good and friendly.

Placements: Some of my friends and I went to M.Sc in Zoology to pursue masters, and after that, we are interested in PhD in zoology from Calcutta or other universities. My another friend has interest in clinical research, and he had completed it from the AMRI hospital with the help of Jadavpur University, one became a medical representative, and now he is successfully established. Some went for the common entrance examinations of government jobs including forest service related exams. Subject Biology has a ...

Really good college with lots of open spaces and highly qualified faculty.

Placements: No placements are currently provided from the colleges offering arts, commerce and science degrees under University of Calcutta. The quality of study provided ensures suitable jobs to deserving students anywhere. The college also provides co-curricular activities which are an added feature in one's biodata and helps to procure a job.

Placements: There is no placement provided in our college. It's a government college and I was a student in the Computer Science department. However, our teachers provide us with top companies' details. The top recruiting companies in our course are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

A good family environment.

Placements: There used to be no placements for students. Not only in new alipore college but all in most of the colleges under Calcutta University. Very few companies take B.Sc. hons students. There may be placements for B.A. hons students but not for B.Sc.
