Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed Secondary Examination or equivalent 10th class examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board.
Applicants who have appeared in the secondary examination or equivalent examination of the year 2024 are also eligible for the Polytechnic Engineering course, but on the basis of this examination, it is necessary to pass it by the date of commencement of the first counselling.
Note:Other conditions of AICTE may be applicable as specified by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Bihar.
There is no maximum or minimum age limit.
Medical examination will be done of selected candidate for admission. The Candidate will be given admission only if found eligible in the medical examination and Separate fee will be payable for health test.
Candidate who are citizens of India and fall under at least one of the following residential categories are eligible for admission:
(i) Whose parents/husband/wife are permanent/native residents of Bihar.
(ii) Whose parents/husband/wife are refugees registered in Bihar.
(iii) Whose mother/father/husband/wife are employees of Bihar Government.
(iv) Whose parents/spouse are employees of Government of India posted in Bihar or employees of Government of India undertakings/institutions posted in Bihar.
(v) Whose mother/father, husband/wife are employees of the United Nations and are currently posted in Bihar.

The polytechnic campus is very good and the students are enjoying in this campus.
Placements: From fifth semester, students are eligible for placements. The companies which come for placements are TCS, Wipro, DMRC, Alstom, General Electric, Birla, etc. The highest package is around 15 LPA, and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Currently the placement head is Saurabh Kumar.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and affordability of college. Good infrastructure on the college campus compared to other colleges. There are three buildings and three hostels—Buddha hostel, Chanakya hostel, and Aryabhata hostel—separate for junior boys or senior boys and it is a very good college.
Faculty: Faculty have good behavior and are helpful for me and other students, and all are supported by good teaching techniques, lectures, and professors in the college. What I like about my college is their faculty, who are highly literate and kind. Teaching staff is highly qualified and helping.
Other: There are sports events, hackathons, and seminars that are organized every year. Books available in libraries are related to the syllabus, of course. The classes have a smart board, PA system, CCTV, and AC. There is a college sports ground for playing outdoor games.

I am fully satisfied with the faculty members and their way of teaching.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students get placed in this course. The highest package was 5 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA offered in this course. Our top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, Reliance, and many other companies. The top roles offered in this course are Junior Electronics Engineer, Technical Assistant, Assistant Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. The campus is well cleaned and decorated. The department library is available here, with well-managed classrooms, computer labs, and electronics labs that have all devices and manuals for practicals. Wi-Fi is available in both the campus and hostel. The hostel rooms are well cleaned and managed. Facilities available include free Wi-Fi, a gym, sports equipment, and medical assurance.
Faculty: All teachers and faculty members are very awesome, and their teaching skills are amazing. The course curriculum is based on outcome-based education. The curriculum is more than enough to prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are not so tough, and the passing percentage is 28%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in electronic devices since childhood, and there is a large scope in this field. The best thing about this course is that it teaches us how electronic devices work and are manufactured. Timely events are organized, and scholarships are provided to the students. The department also organizes extracurricular activities like hackathons and codeathons, and many different clubs are available here.

Infrastructure: The absence of Wi-Fi can be a big hurdle, especially for a college student in today's digital world. Similarly, the lack of a cricket ground or other recreational facilitate The poor quality of mess food is another concern that directly impact your health and energy levels .

In short, college is awesome.
Placements: The placements cell of the college is good as many companies from outside come here to give opportunities to students. They get placed based on the basis of interview. Around 70% of students get placements from here. First, they have to do internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. Buildings of the college are in well-maintained condition with clean washrooms. It has garden areas with a very beautiful fountain in the middle of campus. It has a library with a good stock of books. Labs are also present. Hostel buildings are also good. It has a playground. The mess food is also good as it is hygienic with a variety of menu.
Faculty: All teachers have nice behavior as they help students with any kind of query. Extracurricular activities are also done here. Exams are conducted every six months except for monthly tests. Around 70-80% of students pass exams by studying through books or online.

The college is excellent.
Placements: Placements are good here as many companies came here to hire students. They get placed on the basis of interviews done by the moderation team of the placement cell. 60 to 70 percent of students get employment opportunities from them. The average package is not too high and not too low in the starting.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college and hostel is nice as the buildings are in good condition with well-maintained bathrooms. It has several gardens and a beautiful fountain in the middle of the campus. The hostel premises also have a beautiful playground for sitting, playing, and exercising. The mess food is also good.
Faculty: All faculty members are good here and behave nicely with every student and staff. They are full of knowledge and help us with any queries. Exams are conducted here every semester, other than monthly tests. The level of exams is not tough nor too easy; it's moderate. 70 to 80 percent of students pass.
