What is NCAT?
NICMAR conducts a written test for admission to its UG and PG programmes, mainly, MBA, BBA, Integrated BBA and BTech Civil. The written test is called NCAT and it is conducted to assess the candidate’s communication, analytical and reasoning skills. The written test for PG courses is called PG-NCAT and the test for UG courses is called UG-NCAT.
NICMAR also accepts national level entrance exam scores.

NCAT Eligibility Criteria
PG Courses
- Candidates with a regular bachelor’s degree in relevant stream recognised Institution / University are eligible. Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from reserved category).
- Final year eligible graduating students can also apply. However, such candidates must have completed (passed) their Graduation before the commencement of programme.
UG Courses
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the relevant stream with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
NCAT Application Process
NCAT application form is available at the official website of NICMAR. Candidates can apply for NCAT-UG and NCAT-PG as per their course preference. Check below the process to apply for NCAT.
- Go to the official website of NICMAR, Pune: https://www.nicmar.ac.in/pune/campus
- Click on Apply’ option
- Enter name, email address, mobile number, state, program and register
- Upon registration, log in to fill the application form
- Enter relevant academic and personal details
- Upload recent passport size photograph
- Pay the application fee and complete the process
Application Fee
The application fee for NICMAR admission has to be paid via debit or credit card and net banking. Candidates are required to pay the fee at the time of NCAT form submission.
