The great infrastructure and good faculty. Need to work on core placements.

Placements: The placement record for CSE is good with the average package ranging from 8-15 lakhs per annum. The same thing goes for ECE department. Whereas, for CE, the placements are decent. The same goes for others branches such as mechanical and electrical. For bioengineering, 95% of the students were placed. The placement scenario is changing day-by-day with the CSE and ECE departments as the top priority. The core branches are also getting the great placement statistics. ...

Every thing about NIT-Agartala.

Placements: There were only very few placements of the core companies. There were enough IT company placements, but fewer people were selected because no java and data structure and algorithms courses were not there in the curriculum. These courses are growing very fast, so such training must be taken by yourself. The college will not give a very good help in the placement, but many companies come, and placement can be only taken by means of yourself.

Successfully wasted 3 years of my life.

Placements: The placements were not pretty cool. Only 37 out of 180 students got a job, but out of those 37, 21 got the core company job. The highest salary offered was 5.1 lakhs per annum, and lowest salary was 2.4 lakhs per annum. Only L&T and Bridge & Roof visited our campus. None got any internship for our branch, as the faculty were too lazy to help us. There was also no stipend given to the students.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Many companies visited our campus, and most of my friends got placed. But the percentage is very less in case of civil engineering branch. The highest salary is 18K, and the maximum students got the internship from the college. Every student gets the stipend.

The college is going to be the best in future.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in our batch. Our senior batch had fewer placements with an average of 70%. The highest salary offered was 13 lacs per annum, the lowest salary was 3 lacs per annum, and the average salary was 5 lacs per annum. The major companies that visited college were BPCL, OICL, Johnsons & Johnsons, Vedanta, Mindtree, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, etc.

Good college but needs more exposure. Also, they should be more lenient with the hostelers.

Placements: The placements were good. I got placed in an MNC called Denso. A lot of students got placed in different companies like Maruti, IOCL, Tata, Aricent, etc. The highest salary offered was 10 lacs and the lowest was around 3 lacs. Internship was provided to the students. International internship was also provided.

Above average but not exceptional.

Placements: Internships are not really that great because there are almost no private companies in this region, But there is a good number of core companies (PSUs) like ONGC, GAIL, NPCL, etc. Coming to placements, 2 years ago, we had placements at around 80% but not too good in the consecutive years. But the good thing is that the issue is not the lack of jobs but the unavailability of good students as most of the companies go back with maximum seats vacant. So if you are good, you always have a chance. ...

Proud to be a part of NITA. Very underrated.

Placements: Vedanta takes 4 students every year for around 8 LPA. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL visited last year. Other placements are in IT sector companies with offers ranging from 3-6 LPA. It is quite good considering there are only 45-50 students per year. However, most students opt for higher studies and the rest are comfortably placed according to the merit. I cannot say for other departments though mechanical, CSE and EIE departments have seen close to 90% placements last year. ...

I am totally satisfied with my college. My experience was good and I have learnt many things.

Placements: Placements are good. Many companies came when I was in the final year like Ford, Infosys, Musigma, Igate, Cognizant, Polaris, L&T, Reliance Jio, Genpact, IBM, etc. The average salary offered was 3 to 4 lpa. Compared to seniors, our batch had better placements in terms of company and packages. The lowest salary offered was 2.5 LPA. Roles offered to the students varied from company to company (business analyst, graduate trainee, system input-output analyst, etc).

Placements: Placements statics for this year is quite good for CS students. Out of 70 eligible students, 53 got placed. The highest package was offered by SAP labs and the lowest package was provided by mass recruiters such as Infosys (3.25 lakhs).Companies like Sapient, Oracle, Polaris, ADP etc. visited our campus. Placements: Electrical placements are not that good as compared to other circuital branches like CSE and ECE. But, this year companies like LNT, ECC, Capgemini, OTPC, ABB, CGI, Havells, etc. have visited NIT Agartala for recruitments. Apart from this, electrical students are also allowed to sit for mass recruiting companies like IBM and Infosys. Around 510 offers were made out of 640 students. Placements: Got my placement in Ways 2 Capital with CTC 3.45 LPA. Placement in the college is more than average. If you are from ST & SC category, then you will get more chances in PSUs campus recruitment. Placement of mechanical engg. computer science is best with more than 80% in core companies.

The placement is going good but the faculty student relationship can be improved.

Placements: The placements in the IT sector is the main form of placement, though core branches like civil have placement in regularly visiting companies like L&T but they take limited students and mainly, the top 10 in the branch. It is a good place to be for a CSE or ECE student as companies like BookMyShow and Oracle are visiting the campus with placement offers of up to 9 LPA. The placement policy of the college is that any student can have at maximum 3 jobs from the campus placements, one job in each ...

Placements: Placements have been growing at a steady rate in our college from the last few years. Although, when it comes to the core branches like mechanical/civil and others, the placement scenario (compared to the large no. of students enrolled in those streams) isn't really that applauding. Coming to companies that focusses on IT and all, the condition is quite good. NIT Agartala is one of the fastest growing NITs. With the upgradation of Tripura Engineering College in 2006, the college has seen a complete change of infrastructure and facilities and is rapidly climbing up the ladder of rankings. I think, it will improve in the next few years and we can get 100% placements. Our some faculty members are very good. They try their level best to teach us properly.
