A small and growing college. This gives the students an oppurtunity to interact with the teachers and administration more easily. This is one of the fastest growing colleges. The infrastucture is developing day by day. Recently a supercomputer has been installed in the central library for advanced computing and solving higher problems. Different branches have their separate computer lab, workshops laboratories and esteemed faculty members. But on the negative side politics within the administrat...

Latest placement is good. Besides that NIT has a brand value. The Campus is located outside the city, so the environment is quite good and education friendly. Apart from that, the Infrastructure is well built and good. In NIT-A hostel is one of the best hostels among all other institutions.

Located in the State of Tripura, NIT Agartala is a good place to pursue your career goals among the vivid green nature and world class faculty members. This was previously known as TEC but got converted into NIT in 2006. The faculty members helped us to great extent. The labs previously were not that good but were improved with time. The college hosts fest 'MOKSHA' in the month of February. We also used to have sports & gaming competitions between different NITS. Being a NITian you don’t have to...

College is good with infrastructure. Hostel facilities are good too. Teachers are good and helpful. Located amidst nature, green and beautiful campus. Tests are conducted on regular basis. Good numbers of papers and patients have been filed from this institute. Ground with lightings are also available using which one can play games at night too. When I had joined this college, it was an emerging college but right now it has been well established reputed college of India. This college is the good choice for pursuing engineering B. Tech or M. Tech. People often say that north east is not the nice place to live in, but after spending four years over there I can assure you that it's just a misconception. Coming to college, educational environment over here was just awesome, faculty members and all the staffs were very supportive and very de...

The good: Momentum, The campus, Faculties, Eventful Educational Environment as lots of seminars and workshops are going on very frequently. Some of faculties are really good some are not up to expectations but again that's what happens in all the colleges apart from IITS. The Bad: Mess food, less enthusiasm for sports, Wi-Fi

College has a beautiful campus with many upcoming buildings which redefine architecture. It has some of the finest faculty in the North-East zone and some are exceptionally good when it comes to the National level. The placements are satisfactory for M.tech and civil departments. Campus is pretty well connected by buses and trains. The place is quite breathtaking though the massive amount of construction going on in and around the campus somewhat ruins the natural charm of the place. Infrastructure is not very good and is mainly under construction. Old branches like Civil and Mechanical have excellent senior as well as junior professors, but the newer branches such as ECE and CSE have relatively inexperienced and not-very-good professors. The placement record here is pre...

Approximately everyone in these three branches are placed. Faculty are not that much good, so you have to study on your own. Internet facility is good.

Well, the good things about the college is its growing really fast, its placements are getting better and better and so its infrastructure. But, there is a serious lack in the quality of faculty. There are some really good professors in college but they are just not enough. The college is in northeast, so lacks betters connectivity with the rest of India. The college atmosphere is very ambient and are basic amenities are catered. And, finally, the college mess is very poor.

It's a great college, and if you want to be isolated from the world and yet enjoy your college life) then this is the best place for you. The first thing you'll notice about this college is its great infrastructure and being a baby NIT, it's still under construction and easily ranks in the top engineering colleges in NE India, and that's after counting IIT Guwahati. So if you've got NIT Agartala after counselling, don't be worried. It's overall a great college in an isolated environment, complet...

Overall placements are great and infrastructure is really good, but curriculum is a bit hectic.

Placements: In mechanical (2023 and 2024), nearly 82-86% got placed, and this year (2024) the highest is 40 LPA in a software company. The core companies also offer quite good placements. Many PSUs also come for placement. Well, the average package is somewhere around 8-10 or 11 LPA. The highest in core companies is around 20-22 LPA. And if you are good at coding, then you will get really great opportunities in other software companies also.
