NIT Goa, the new campus phase begins.

Placements: As far as the CSE branch is concerned, the placements for them have been average or below average. Compared to last year, when all the CSE students were placed by now, and some had multiple offers this year, the count is low. For the ECE branch, the situation seems better placement wise but the EEE branch has been hit really hard. Hardly any students have been placed, and a lot of oversight takes place as companies naturally tend to ignore students from the EEE branch and focus on the CSE branch...

The college not satisfactory compared to other NITs.

Placements: Placements in the CSE department is almost 100%. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. Many reputed companies, like Amazon, Samsung, Wipro, etc., visited our campus for placements. Efforts from the placements cell of the college is above satisfaction.

No infrastructure. Faculty and curriculum not so good.

Placements: According to the campus placements which took place this year, more than 90% of the B.Tech students got placed. The highest salary was 11 Lacs per annum. The average of all the students in the entire batch, settled down to about 6 Lacs per annum. The placement cell in the college is really helpful.

If you are really independent and really want a successful life, this is a good choice.

Placements: We get placements from companies which are in India that offer 3-4 lacs, some companies offer 8-9 lacs and max of 11.5-13 lacs per annum. And, most of the ECE students get placed every year with an 85+% of the students who are eligible for placements. Here, on the campus, there are some strict rules in order to sit for the placements. The students should not have any backlog subject throughout their degree.

Nothing special apart from the brand tag NIT.

Placements: Most companies keep a cut off of 6 pointers (CGPA) for eligibility. In my batch, 60% of the students got placed, and in my seniors as well as super senior batches, 70% of the students got placed. All known service-based IT companies visit the campus like Infosys, TSC, Tesco etc, and half of the placed students get placed here. The highest package possible for a student in this stream is 8 lakhs offered by Barclays. However, you need to be good at coding to have a chance of clearing the interview...

College is not well established as per the infrastructure is concerned but the ambience around it and the facility for reaching to college is very nice. College has a very good administrative team which helps a lot in any issue regarding the administration part. The faculties which defines the college actually are really knowledgeable and helpful, they give good insight of subject and the future scope of the subjects. Institute mainly focus on research activities. Placement are nice as compared ...
