Good college to choose but not the only option.
Placements: I was enrolled in the ECE branch; the placements in the branch are not up to the mark if you select core as your major; it's better for you to choose GATE and go for higher studies. The highest package is 47 LPA, and the average package was 9.8 LPA. Amazon, Genpact, and other companies are there.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not good. There is a lot more to develop. The classrooms are okay but not good to study in the rainy season. Accommodation in a hostel is the best, but the facilities are low but have good security. The quantity of food is good, but the quality should be increased.
Faculty: The teaching faculty was good and was always available to us. The semester exams were not tough but also easy; they were moderate. You need to get at least 40% of the marks in every subject to pass and should be regular in the classes because attendance is also included in your academics.

NIT Manipur offers good infrastructure and facilities to its students.
Placements: 40–50% of the students get successfully placed at our college. In this course, students are getting average placements at NIT Manipur. The average package offered at the college was between 4 and 9 LPAs. Many big IT firms, such as Accenture, Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, Sprinkle, etc., visit our college for placements. Students were also getting internships at MIT Manipur.
Infrastructure: NIT Manipur has really good infrastructure for our course. Students were provided with all the necessary facilities at this college. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, computer labs, hostel, sports and all other facilities were given to the students and properly managed by the college management. The food in the canteen and mess was good to eat at an affordable price.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about our course. All the teachers were experienced in the teaching field. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not that hard to pass. Students were getting all the help and support from the teachers.

Disappointed with the infrastructure, absence of clubs, fest and facilities being provided.
Placements: At NIT Manipur, almost 70-80% of the students get placed. The highest package in 2023 was 47 LPA which was given Amazon. In 2023, the average package was around 9.5 LPA. Companies like Discover and Edfora gave packages worth 27 LPA. Some mass recruiters like Intellipat, Tata Elxsi, Reliance Jio and L&T ECC also visited the campus recruiting a number of students with an average package of 7 to 8 LPA. The placements ratio is quite good here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. It is below average. The campus is big but has not been utilized properly. Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel 24X7. Talking about the classrooms, it is not that great but still it’s decent. Projectors have been installed in all the classrooms. There is one library in the academics block where around 20-30 students can study at a time. Atmosphere is quite good and there are plenty of books available for our reference. Quality of food is again not that great but decent. Canteens are there in every hostel. For medical services, an ambulance is available for us 24x7. There is one very good playground where we can play all the sports we want. It is quite big and good.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They are always ready to help us and solve our doubts. There are many teachers who have graduated from IITs. Their teaching is quite decent. The syllabus being taught is a little old (that is same in all the colleges). It won't make anyone completely industry ready but it might help a lot in the future. The semester exams are not that difficult. It is on the moderate to difficult side. Almost 80-85% students clear the exams without any backlogs.
Other: If you wish to participate in fests, cultural activities and clubs, this college is not for you. There are no clubs and there is no gym inside the college. Scholarships like NSP (National Scholarship Portals) are being provided by the central government.

NIT Manipur is currently developing.
Placements: Here, generally each year CSE and ECE department placement goes 100% but other department having less percentage chance for placement. The highest placement is around 47 Lacs. Companies like LNT, Microsoft, and Amazon visits the campus. This NIT is continuously growing year by year.
Infrastructure: Here in 2 hostels- Hostel 1 and Hostel 2 -Wi-Fi service is available. But infrastructure like roads is very poor here. But leave the infrastructure let's concentrate on academics. Medical facility is available here 24/7. Here different clubs are available like coding club, dance club, song club, cricket club etc.
Faculty: Here teacher have good level of knowledge and they are very helpful, since Manipur is also a local language here, teachers all over the india used to take the lecture in English . One who is weak in English and not able to speak English frequently he will be able to speak in some time very frequently.
Other: I have choose ECE department since there is more opportunity in future for ECE. I know that coding is very important. So I do coding software developing and hardware development also.

The faculty is good, and the campus is still under construction, but placement is not good.
Placements: The placement status is not good on the campus. We have to take placement from the pool campus in NIT Meghalaya, Silchar, Agartala. No company has come to our campus for the placements except BPO. Only a few students got the internships from our batch. Almost, 98% of the students from our batch got the placement from the pool campus from another NIT.
Infrastructure: NIT Manipur has still the temporary campus. There is no better equipment in our lab, and many of them are not in good condition. The hostel rooms are good, but the food in the hostel mess is bad. We have complained a lot of times, but no action had been taken against the hostel mess. Due to the temporary campus, sometimes we had to attend our classes in the computer lab or electronic lab. In NIT Manipur, there are two campuses, one is temporary, and the other is the permanent campus in which some branches of the students are staying.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are local, but the teaching is not bad. The faculty members are good, but they didn't have enough equipment. A few faculty members have the excellent knowledge. But the interaction between the teachers and students are less. Due to this, the students have to face a lot of problems related to study, books, etc.
Other: In our campus, during March 'Ougri' technical and cultural festival is celebrated. In this festival, anyone can participate in any fest.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
