Decent placements at NIET, basic facilities, average teaching, and room for improvement.
Placements: At NIET Greater Noida, placements are excellent, especially for Computer Science students. The highest salary offered was INR 51 LPA, and the average was INR 6 LPA. Big companies like Oracle, Salesforce, Intel, Capgemini, and IBM hire students. Almost all Computer Science students got jobs, showing how well-connected the college is with industries. While details about internships and specific job roles aren't clear, the placement results are impressive. These numbers are from the 2023-2024 batch, and updates for the 2026 batch are still awaited. Do not come with higher expectations, as it is a tier 3 college only.
Infrastructure: The facilities for the course and department at NIET Greater Noida are just okay, with basic classrooms and labs. The hostel is not very clean, and the rooms are small. The food in the mess and canteen isn't great and doesn't have much variety. Sports facilities are limited, and the grounds aren't well-maintained. Overall, the facilities are manageable but not very good, and there's a lot of room for improvement to make things better for students.
Faculty: The faculty at NIET Greater Noida is okay, with some teachers being helpful and good at teaching, while others are not very engaging. The quality of teaching is mixed. Some classes are useful, but others feel basic. The course curriculum covers important topics, but it doesn't fully prepare students for jobs without extra effort. Semester exams are not too hard if students study regularly. Most students pass because the college supports them during exams. Since it's an autonomous college, it has some control over the courses and exams, but there's still a lot that could be better.
Other: I chose this course to build a good career and because it offers job opportunities. The best part is that it gives basic knowledge and helps in placements. I wish the course had more practical learning to prepare us better for jobs. Events and fests happen but are just okay, not very exciting. The crowd is mixed, and the campus is easy to reach but could have better transport options. Overall, it's a simple experience with room for improvement.

NIET good at placement but at what cost?
Placements: So, placement in B.Tech is good in NIET. More than 85% of students get placed every year with an average package of 5.7 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 58 Lacs per annum. Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, HCL, and many more companies visit every year. More than 2000 offers are given by more than 300 companies every year. Talking about internships, the college provides proper training for internships and placement interviews. But there are not so many on-campus internship offers in NIET. So we have to find the internship on our own.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure in terms of studying. There are many labs like the vacuum lab, PTC lab, Mercedes lab, and many others. Also, Wi-Fi in labs is super fast. But infrastructure in terms of enjoyment is not good. The college is very small. Also, the campus for 1st-year students is too small. Hostel infrastructure is like other college hostels. The food is decent, and we can play any game in the hostel. There are so many things to do.
Faculty: NIET is an autonomous college, so the curriculum is up to date. Even if the college wants to change their syllabus, they can do so on their own because of autonomy. The faculty for the first year is very supportive and fun. But after the first year, faculty will not take any interest in whether you are studying or not. They will just come, write on the board, and then leave.
Other: I chose this course because of its future advantages. There are so many students in the college. The crowd is too big. College life is not good. There are no big fests. There are only limited events for fun. There are so many other campuses in the surrounding area. Connectivity is good. There are many hangout spots near the college. The UP government also provides scholarships for counseling students.

If you really want to enjoy college life, then do not take admission to this college.
Placements: Almost 70 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 50 LPA (AVG-4 LPA), and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. I guess the top recruiting company in college is Zscaler. An internship is based on student performance. The top roles are many, and it depends on the student what he or she wants to select for their future.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not up to par, even though sometimes for water we need to go from one floor to the other. Students are not allowed to use the lift, and washrooms are also not clean. They have even painted the buildings for years, and the buildings look very bad. No Wi-Fi for students, no AC in classes, and the library is also not good. Actually, I am not a hostel student, but a few things I get to know from my classmates who are in the hostel are that the food is very bad. They do not have many options for sports. The canteen's condition is also not good. In the case of medical facilities, it is average.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, but a few teachers are not able to speak English. The teaching quality is average. The course is okay, as there are relevant things for your study. They do not make the students in the industry practice themselves for placement opportunities. If you study, then you can easily pass your exams. The pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: By choosing this course, I can go for both industries (software or hardware). I think you need to focus more on practical things as compared to theoretical knowledge. Some events happen, but students do not like to participate much. No celebrity has been invited to this college until this year. Campus crowd is not as much. The connectivity issue is a serious problem. The campus surroundings are also not so good. A scholarship is given, maybe. You have the chance to participate in extracurricular activities.

The college is good; you can consider taking admission.
Placements: Over 2,700 job offers were made, with 700+ companies visiting for recruitment. Salary Packages: The highest package was 51 lakhs per year, and the average package was around 6 lakhs per year. Top Recruiters: Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, and J.P. Morgan hire students from NIET. Internships: Many students got internships with big names like AWS, Oracle, Cisco, and Salesforce, though exact numbers aren't specified. Popular Job Roles: Roles include Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, and positions in Consulting. However, you have to manage all your workloads by yourself; the college only supports you like a backbone.
Infrastructure: There are totally 4 blocks and a normal playground. Some of the hostels are inside the college, and some are outside the branch colleges. I have not stayed in the hostel, but the kids there get almost good food to eat. Apart from this, you should visit once and check everything before taking admission.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are highly qualified. Almost all teachers are Ph.D. holders, and their experience is good. The colleges here provide you with so many courses that you will be ready to go into the industry. There is strict invigilation during the semester, but the environment is very good for the students during the semester.

Absolutely satisfied with the course and the college, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: We are halfway through the final year and about 55-60% of students of the current batch are placed already, with around 4 months left in the completion of the degree. The average package is somewhere around 5-6 LPA. The minimum package is 3.3 LPA provided by TCS. Capgemini took the most number of students (199) from our batch.
Infrastructure: Labs in our college are top notch so is the library. Classrooms are also well maintained and infrastructure is quite superb. Hostels are quite old, though but are absolutely worth the money. Food provided in the hostel is also decent if not great. There is a big ground in the center of the campus.
Faculty: The curriculum has been excellently designed. Teachers are also very supportive and highly qualified. They have come up with various branches inside computer science engineering that are relevant to the current market scenario. Semester exams are quite tough. One needs to be thorough with their concepts to score high marks and maintain a good CGPA.
Other: The college does not conduct any fancy fests or events but is totally inclined towards the students' careers and futures. But the clubs in the college do organise events occasionally, and that's where students have a lot of fun.

Review of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET).
Placements: I don't really know much about placements, but they are absolutely not what they promise; they are worse than bad; no top recruiting company even comes. For internships, you have to pay; you don't get any internships from their side. Only 40% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: Everything is below average. Food is available in the mess, but the canteen is just like a small shop; nothing is available, and MRP items are also sold at high prices. WIFI is not available to students; you can't access those; labs are okay; the library is not accessible to freshers as it is on the main campus, and freshers have to go their after the college ends; otherwise, no entry.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The course is pretty relevant; it does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult, like you just have to study and that's it. If you don't, you'll find them tough. Overall, the course is good for industry-level standards.
Other: I chose the course of computer science because of my interest in it. The first thing is they have to improve the campus life, like it's just a school; nobody can even stand up; the strictness is too much; no campus life, I can say that. Events are not for freshers; they are not allowed, so I don't know currently about events. There are literally no festivals here.
