Overall, satisfied with the college.
Placements: We have 21 students in our batch currently. If talking about placements, the rate is less as almost no companies come here to recruit, maybe because of the pace, as well as the college is that old; it needs to maintain its base and foundation like other Xavier's Colleges in Mumbai and Kolkata.
Infrastructure: The lab is well maintained, with plenty of space for all three years to work together at a time. A bit of chaos can happen, but it has all the modern equipment that has been. The classrooms are okay. The library is good; you have there Xerox machines to Xerox any notes, and that too, the price is very low.
Faculty: The teachers are very good at the way they interact and give everyone attention. The teachers do make the students industry-ready well; the teachers do prepare as they give knowledge needed once you are out of the college. And the university questions are not that difficult; even if you are an average student, you can pass easily if you work extra hard.
Other: The reason why I chose this course is because of the teachers and the way they told the future of this course and how this one is more applicable in the future. We have an annual fest every year, and that's the best thing about our college. We have different clubs that focus on extracurricular activities. The recent passing batch was an excellent one; the university topper was from our department.

It is a good college to study in.
Placements: Around 12-15% of students get placements in our college. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package is 5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are Google, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 15% to 20% of students get internships at Wipro, My Captain, Google, etc. Top roles are offered in various departments like finance, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the departments have different classrooms, which are very well maintained. HODs of all the departments look after the departments and the students. The quality of the facilities provided in the hostel is very good. The campus is spread over a very big area. The quality of the food is very good. It provides medical facilities. There are many games like cricket, basketball, football, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Our college conducts two internal exams every semester. It helps students to be ready for the semester exams.

More amount of placements should be there.
Placements: I don't know about my course, but overall it'll be 30%. Maximum package would be 4 LPA, the lowest 1.5 LPA, and the average would be 2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tata and Wipro. About 10% of students of our course got internships. I don't know about the top roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities are not that top notch as we require computers for some of our practicals. The infrastructure is good. Talking about the hostel, the college only has a boys' hostel which has all the facilities. The food is average, and it has a gym. The curfew time is 6 pm for summers and 5:30 pm for winters.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They share their college experience with us. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and yes, it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are tough as the college comes under NBU. The pass percentage is 35.
Other: I chose Geography because I wanted to explore the subject. The best thing about my course is the field surveys and trips. The thing I want to improve in my course is during our odd semesters we get very less time for completing our syllabus. Therefore, it would be great if the syllabus got reduced during odd semesters. The number of events are very less in this college, which should be more in number.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college environment.
Placements: Our college provides placements for students according to their capabilities.
Infrastructure: The college provides labs for all departments. It has a beautiful canteen and a library for students. The quality of the hostel rooms is good. Overall, it is one of the best colleges in North Bengal. I suggest everyone visit the college once.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough. The pass percentage is 50%. The college also provides gifts for the toppers.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany - Batch of 2021

The college facilities are great.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed after their graduation from botany. Posting in Botanical Survey of India is the highest government job in botany, and many botanists work in colleges and universities as professors. The average salary offered is 20,000 to 1 lakh.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities for the botany department are awesome. It has an advanced lab for botany. Wi-Fi is available on campus, and the library is pretty good. The canteen food is good. Sports tournaments like football and basketball are held twice a year.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified and have deep knowledge of botany. Their teaching quality is good. The course is curriculum-relevant, and it is all about knowing plant science. Semester exams are pretty tough, but 95% of students pass the exams easily.
Other: Biology is my favourite subject, especially plant biology. So, I chose botany. The best thing about botany is that it creates huge job opportunities in the Botanical Survey of India and Forestry. I think it is a well-improved course. Extravaganza is the annual fest of our college. Many events like excursions and nature-related events are held on campus. Extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, and sports are held on campus. The campus crowd is high, but connectivity from college to the city is bad. Our college is located in between Jalpaiguri and Siliguri, so travelling is the main problem for every student who comes from Siliguri, Jalpaiguri and other places.

The faculty members are well qualified and loyal towards students For placement we .
Placements: 20% of the students are placed in our course. The students didn't get the highest package they are on average package. There is no top recruiting companies for our course. All we are recruited in average companies. The student who are interned in this course is min 20%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and there facilities is too good. Hence the campus environment make you feel they are in now college. All facilities are good no objection on the infrastructure and facilities. The facilities of hostel is average but generally I think we should not leave in the hostel and in my opinion we are now grown ups so why we leave in the hostel, rather in PG. Food facilities what we are getting is on average basis because the taste of food is main important for us.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and they able to give the knowledge towards students. In my personal opinion this is lacking some beyond as we should get more practical knowledge rather on book/ theory basis. No there is not too difficult for semester wise exam as we are not burden on too much syllabus. Passing percentage of the students is 35%
.
Other: As I want to do business, as those want to go on business field these is opportunity for the students. Improvement in practical knowledge. All the activities are done from events to extracurricular activities.
