It's an average college and it doesn't charge much.

Placements: Placements are not very lucrative, but you could get a good company like Deloitte, L&T, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Obviously, you need to work on both academic and skill development. The average package is 6.7 LPA. And CSE is most preferred if you are a placement-oriented guy.

CET : the college review .

Placements: Okay, so in my course, the placement rate is 80–90 percent but the package may vary. The highest package will go around 20–25 LPA, but on average, 10 LPA is the package. An internship is also each on its own; if you have your connections and referrals, then you will get internship .

Average faculty in our college.

Placements: The placements are really average. The companies that mostly hire from our college are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys, and some top students get hired by Microsoft, Google, or Amazon-like companies. The percentage placed is around 80% and the average package is around 8–9 LPA for them, and for CSE students in core branches, it is as low as 3 LPA.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered ranges between 42 LPA - 48 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 3.37 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Deloitte, and Cisco. Internships are also offered in this course. We have to prepare data structures and algorithms in this course.

Hostels have good food service.

Placements: Placement for core branches is scarce but for IT and CSE branches it is good. Placement drive in College is long and exhausting. The job quality is average. Placement for most companies are done and the students who have backlogs are mostly kept out.

It is one of the top government engineering colleges in Odisha.

Placements: Every year many leading organisations visit this institute to offer lucrative required opportunities to students. Some of the prime recruiting companies of this institute include notable companies like Infosys, TCS, Tata, Accenture, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, etc.

Overall, it is an average college considering every aspect.

Placements: About 65-70% of the students from our branch got placed in several tech companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Accenture. However, other companies, like Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Tata Advanced Systems, etc., also recruited students. Other startup companies also come for recruitment. The best thing is placement offers are in a good number.

Limited Faculties but were okay, no placement at all, not even good infrastructure for the course.

Placements: Very disappointedly I have to admit that there was no placement for this course. None of the field related companies come up. As no companies comes up there is no the highest or the lowest salary offer. The role that could be proficient for our course would be a planner. When comes to internship everybody searches on their own. A few get paid internship rest are unpaid as it was the part of our curriculum.

I am not satisfied as time issues for girls are the major problems.

Placements: About 80% of the students are placed in our previous batch, so we are expecting this year's placement to be more than that. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS Digital, Jaro, Robert bosch, Incture, FactSet, Accenture visited the campus. The top role offered is a full-time associate engineer. About 20% of students got internships.

Everything is average. Placement can be better if the placement cell works on it.

Placements: Mostly software companies visit our campus for placements. The salary packages range from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. Around 75% of students got placed. The placement cell doesn't have strict rules and regulations, so some companies have blacklisted our college. The worst thing is students can attend for other companies even after getting an offer in one company.

Be your master and write your own destiny do not depend on college.

Placements: There are no core company come to my college, I think 1-2 core company come, Most of the placement happen in IT sector, I think it is not good to depend on college placement it would be better if you make a good portfolio of your own, I never interested for core branch I must interested for CSE, but I do not depend on college so I develop my skills from outside.

A review of CET, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: The college didn't provide any placements for post graduation courses. Only B.Tech students get placed in the college. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., recruit the majority of students. Very few students get placed in core companies like Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steel. There are no campus placements for M.Tech students. The course is only valid to increase your qualifications as you won't get any job from the college by pursuing M.Tech course.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: I'm a student of mechanical engineering branch. So, only a few companies visit the campus for recruiting the students of our branch. The average package offered was 3.8 lacs per annum. Also, many IT companies recruit a few students, for example, TCS recruited 200 students in our college.

A moderate campus, and there is a scope for development as it's a 25-year old college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Many good companies come to the city but not to our college. We had to go for off-campus placements. TCS is the major recruiter, and then come companies like Bosch, Asian Paints, TEKsystems, Mindtree, Maruti, etc. But this year only 40% of students got placed, and I think the percentage will boost up in the coming years.

Good college but they could give good placement.

Placements: It gives placement but not much good, above 50 percent students are still remain unplaced.90percent IT companies are coming. They took good amount of students but core companies took 1 or 2 students for their company. Hence here I suggest that you should start your career in some other field like computer Science or it etc. Other than core.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology college review.

Placements: The placements were not 100 percent for my batch and also for seniors. Only, the 40 percent students were placed. The highest salary offered was around 3.5 lacs per annum, and the minimum was 1.77 lacs per annum. The companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro visited with offers of a software engineer, and Artech came for HR recruitment roles. A few other companies visited, but with very undescriptive roles.

Okay government college which you may like due to good students, not for food and faculty

Placements: Placements were pretty good in recent years in our college. In 2015-16, around 400 students were placed. Un 2016-17, around 500 students were placed as total students intake was increased so more got placed but due to a large number of students, the placement percentage dropped. CET- (Then and now): Details about the entire scenario as per various aspects.

Placements: The placements in this college are pretty average. An increase in the batch strength decreased the level of placements. There was a time when each student had two core jobs and now, most of the jobs are in the software industry. Placements are good enough for CSE. Average package- Rs. 3.7 lakhs PA, highest package- Rs. 25 lakhs PA, lowest package- Rs. 2.2 lakhs PA.

Overall it's an average college. It gives you good lessons about life and you will enjoy it.

Placements: The college has a good placement record. Core companies are limited but IT companies come a lot. About 85% students are placed every year. The average package for each student is around Rs. 5 LPA. It's located in Bhubaneswar, so it has an advantage over any other college in Odisha.

CET, Bhubaneswar definitely ranks among the top government colleges of Odisha. The college is a sure short attraction for top rankers of OJEE. Overall the college is pretty good as far as faculty and educational environment are concerned. The placements have always been on the brighter side for CSE and IT students. Nevertheless, the college has now been able to pull in dream companies for other core branches too.
