B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

It is a very strict college.
Placements: Only 40% of students who placed in our course are very talented. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average is Rs. 18,000 per month. There are no top recruiting companies. About 25% of students got internships from our course at average companies.
Infrastructure: Computers in our labs have only 2 GB RAM. Wi-Fi is only available to faculty. Classrooms are fine but do not have whiteboards. Hostel rooms, mess, and canteen are good. For medical facilities, we have P. S. V. Multispeciality Hospital near the college. Sports and games are also average.
Faculty: Some teachers are very knowledgeable and kind. The teaching quality is good. They need to improve to be very better. Our course curriculum is relevant. From an exam point of view, our college makes most students pass by giving more class tests. 65% is the pass percentage.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Most of the students did not get placements. They conduct campus interviews for the name.
Infrastructure: Everything was available in this college. The laboratory mark was based on internal and academic marks for each person. There were morning and evening tests. It was like school. I would not recommend students to join this college.
Other: I opted for this course, because my sister recommend me this course. Our college life was not good, because it conducts morning and evening tests and re-tests as well. In this college, sports were not available. The cultural events, annual day, and college tours were not conducted. Students cannot even celebrate their birthday with friends inside this college. Students should not interact with other girls on campus. I would recommend students to take admission to other colleges. It was a pure school kind of environment.

Our college has a very poor infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placement offers for all. Only a few students get placed as only a few small companies conduct interviews. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 only. There is no higher top campus because there are no much facilities.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi and mobiles are not allowed only. We have only one day and one hour for the library and there are only a few books. There is a very poor quality of hostel and food. No celebrations are held. When compared to school life and our college life, school life is better because our college rules are the worst than school.
Faculty: The staff of this college is very bad and they treat students like school students. Only a few students can get a pass in our class. I scored 50%. There is no individual staff for labs. We don't have any preparation holidays for exams.
Other: There are no programs celebrated. We don't have culture or sports or fresher day programs.

Faculty members and infrastructure is good
.
Placements: I was from the mechanical group. But the college arranged BPO companies like Memphis, V-mat, etc. Many students got selected in BPO, but no one joined. So, it was a waste of time and money for this placement activities. No one was aware of the student internships in college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the building was good. Wi-Fi was available only for laboratory purpose. Mechanical workshops were very good. The quality of food served was average. No medical facility was provided. Sports and games available were average. There was no security on gates. So students can go anywhere and anytime.
Faculty: Overall, all the faculty members in our college were good and knowledgeable persons. Still, our teachers are guiding us inspite of completing the course before 7years. Teachers were qualified, and teaching skills were also good. ALmost 50% of the teachers were from industries. So we can easily understand the market value.
Other: Ours was the first batch of mechanical engineering in this college. I did an international paper presentation programme. In final year student are offered chairman role. I like our library very much.

I am dissatisfied with the placements provided as they were not relevant to the engineers' role.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed from college. They hired only diploma role for engineers, and graduate apprenticeship trainee. Small scale companies, MNCs and BPO industries visited the companies for recruitment. The salary offered was of Rs. 10,000 per month. Only 10% of students got an internship, because they only depend on result, and not for extracurricular activities and workshops, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was awesome with new buildings. The entire campus was Wi-Fi enabled, but the connection was slow compare to 2G. Quality of food served was normal, compare outside stores. Labs were neat. Even they charge fine to build a new college, so 80 % attendance is mandatory, and if it is less students have to pay fine.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were perfect, except a few. The course curriculum was relevant, but another future technology was not reached. They taught everything written in the book. If anything else is needed, you have to go through your self and gain knowledge.
Other: I opted for the course to have a degree. The college should provide extra knowledge to students. Campus surroundings are good.

Dissatisfied with the retest conducted after college hours, but the college is worthful.
Placements: Placements are provided through both the on-campus and off-campus drives. The college also has tie-ups with VIT, Vellore. So, students need not worry about placements. Some companies like Allinov, HCL Technologies, Britania, Face academy, Aagna (BPO), and CMS, etc., visit the campus for placements. Some companies are not that good because the original pay may differ from the one they say during the interview.
Infrastructure: The college has totally four buildings, and a canteen is also available here. The mess is also available within the campus. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Computer labs are available for both UG and PG courses. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones inside the campus. Bus facilities to different places such as Hour, Oothangarai, Pochampalli, Dharmapuri, Veppanapalli, and Tirupattur, etc., are available.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are well familiar with the subjects and have good skills which will help students to enlight their future. Some staff members lack knowledge, but they somehow manage to bring students to a good position. Students must write the test in the first-hour daily, and the retest is conducted after 5 pm in the evening. Internal assessment tests are also conducted periodically.
Other: They waive off some part of the fee for SC students. There will be nearly 1000 students in our college.
