Neutral outlook towards PCE Rourkela.
Placements: My 2 years senior batch's placement was good but the just senior batch suffered. We expected the same fate but somehow Infosys and Tech Mahindra conducted their placement. Around 30-40% of the total strength of our batch managed to get into these companies. Our college also tied up with Cocubes and AMCAT and other off-campus drives happening in other colleges. A few people managed to get through there. But a majority didn't have any placement by the end of the term. These people struggled for some time but have managed to find jobs in banks, government sector and also level 1 IT companies.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure, I must say. But don't go by the looks. The labs are quite good. But it won't feel like a park to refresh or you won't find a sports complex there. Just the studies, so would feel more like a decent school. The college has a small library with most of the useful books present and I think that is quite great for such a small college.
Faculty: The faculty is good, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is strictly followed as specified by the university. Educators would focus on course completion and help you definitely whenever needed. But yes I never got any possible questions for the semesters like in other colleges. They would prescribe good books if you want to read them.
Other: The college's focus is on the education. It has a good name and the alumni of the college are doing pretty well. But it is a small college with very poor infrastructure. The good placement record will be about 50%-60% and you must ensure to have no backlogs to attend campus interviews. So better work hard. It is a good college for someone who has less money but can't afford the premier/expensive colleges.

Other: Awesome college to be in. Nice atmosphere to study. Good faculty. Located at an awesome place Rourkela. The fee is very minimal compared to other colleges. But the education is well and good. Cleared from this college without any back. This college is affiliated to BPUT and has branches of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering etc.

Other: It was good experience, enjoyed learning whole 4 years of studies. Faculty members were also very good. The facilities and fees was good and can be affordable to maximum family. Just need to improve the infrastructure as it is very old. Also the atmosphere nearby the college is very good as there is now crowd and or any noise pollution, in short it’s a very cool, green and very calm place where we can study very nicely and with more concentration.
