Good faculties and infrastructure but dissatisfied due to locality
Placements: Above 40% of students were placed in my course last year. Highest package of the bcom course in PGDAV college is 23 lakh per annum and lowest package is 3 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are Colgate, Just Dial, Airtel, Google, Blinkit, Zomato etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is far much better than expected. Wi-fi's are available. Labs are air conditioned. Classrooms are well cleaned and maintained. Quality of food in campus canteen is good and it is also affordable for every student. Cleanliness is keep in mind while making food.
Faculty: Teachers and staffs are very helpful and friendly towards students. All the teachers are PHd's in their subject and have a great knowledge about their subjects. Semester exams are organized at moderate level to pass the students. Required Passing percentage is 33%.

Pgdav College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The college has an active placement process, with an average package ranging from 4 to 5 LPA. The highest package recorded is 23 LPA. Top recruiters include EY GDS, Zomato, WTW, and YNB, while notable internships have been offered by True Blue, Hills, and Ruddo. Companies providing internships often extend pre-placement offers (PPO) as well.
Infrastructure: The college features a comprehensive library with a variety of textbooks, journals, and other resources. It also boasts various sports teams and well-maintained grounds. Additionally, the college has NSS and NCC programs. The canteen offers decent food at affordable prices, catering to students' budgets. Well-equipped labs, including computer and EVS labs, are also available.
Faculty: The faculty at the college is highly qualified. One of the head teachers has published books used by students for reference. The teachers are supportive and deliver the curriculum in an accessible manner. Admission to the college requires the CUET (Common University Entrance Test).
Other: The college offers numerous societies for students to join, covering a wide range of interests from poetry and Nukkad Natak to technology and various dance forms, including Western, classical, and Bhangra.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements, which are really bad.
Placements: Below 40% of students get placed. The initial package is 2 lakhs, while the average is 4 lakhs, and the highest is 22 lakhs. EY and D.E. Shaw are the top companies. Many students get internships only in NGOs, and very few students secure internships in small startups. Positions offered include Audit Associate by EY, Business Development Associate by Intellipat, and Sales and Marketing by various other companies.
Infrastructure: Classes are not maintained properly, as the walls are too dirty. They clean and paint the walls only when the ranking officers come for inspection. There is a library, but it is average and does not have many books related to the courses. We have labs only when we are enrolled in that particular subject. There's no Wi-Fi facility, and there is no hostel. The quality of food in the canteen is good; the canteen is large enough for 50 to 100 students at a time, and the food is affordable. My college has a big ground for cricket with multiple stadium lights, a basketball court, a gym, and a table tennis room. However, the cricket ground is mostly acquired by a third party, so we are not allowed to play there most of the time.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful; some of them are very qualified and knowledgeable. Many teachers are regular in classes, and the overall teaching quality is good. The faculty is very supportive. However, the overall course curriculum does not prepare students for real-life industry scenarios, but that is not only the case in my college; it is also true for the Delhi University curriculum. The overall difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate to difficult, and the pass percentage is almost 90 to 95.
Other: I chose the course because I was not ready for BBA; basically, I want to do an MBA after my graduation and want to learn about the field. That’s why my priority for this course is utmost. I wish practical knowledge were emphasized more, and there’s no attendance compulsion. If there were attendance requirements, I think students would come and learn a lot. There are not many events happening, like music events; the campus vibe is average. However, there is great connectivity because the metro is very nearby, and bus stops are also in front of the college gate. Extra activities are not as much as required.

Good college for all courses of students .
Placements: Some companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, TCS, etc., visit our college for placements. The placement cell of our college is very decent, and most of the deserving students in our batch got employed in very good firms and companies. However, the placement process was not that well-organized, and many students were not aware of it.
Infrastructure: The college has the biggest canteen in the University of Delhi, and the food quality is very good. The college also provides Wi-Fi, labs for all courses, good classrooms, and a big library. The infrastructure is not that great as the college is old, but the new building is good with a large playground.
Faculty: This course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are based on the knowledge of average students. You do not expect college teachers to teach much, but the staff here is very serious regarding studies, teaches with full potential, and helps students wherever needed.
Other: The college organizes one of the best fests across the University of Delhi, and the environment of the college is good. It also provides extracurricular activities. The only change needed is to renovate the old building into a new one.

Average college overall but very affordable.
Placements: Out of the people sitting in placements from our course, roughly 50% received an offer. The highest package was 10 lakh rupees, and the average package was around 4 lakh rupees. Top recruiting companies include EY, Deloitte, etc. Around 50% of students got internship offers in various companies. The top roles offered were business analyst and accountant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is currently below average, but it is improving. There is Wi-Fi in the library, but the data limit is less than 50 MB. The library is otherwise decent and has plenty of books for the course. Classrooms are very old and below average, and most washrooms are not clean. There are two canteens in the college, both serving decent food at affordable prices, but they lack variety, and only a few items from the entire menu are available. Sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are average. There are various types of teachers in the college; most of them are very helpful and experienced and take their classes seriously. However, some teachers are not helpful and may cancel lectures often. The curriculum is outdated, and students do not gain practical or industry knowledge for most subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to gain in-depth knowledge about commerce and other related fields, which is the best thing about the course. The curriculum should be updated from time to time to teach students about the latest practices. The college fest is average, and the crowd is also average. The location is good, as it is in South Delhi, near the metro station, and on the main road.

With that much of percentage it's difficult to get admission in top DU colleges especially if you go with B.com Honours. If you belong to any reserved category then there will be chance of getting admission .
