The Best College - Honest Review .
Placements: There is a good opportunity for placement from the campus. Many companies come for the placement drive, providing an average package of 3.5 lakhs. Companies like KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PwC, Axis Bank, Urban Clap, TCS, and many more recruit from the college. They try to place the maximum number of students from the college. Placement drives start in September and continue till February.
Infrastructure: There are many societies in college. One can join any of them and work with them. There is no hostel in our college, but there are PG facilities available around the college. However, the canteen is great and has healthy food as well. If people are thinking to join this college, they have to find a PG nearby, and the food is good in the college.
Faculty: The tentative number of lectures is around 5 lectures a week, and Saturday and Sunday are off. For first-year students, the average age is around 19. Teachers are very clear about their subjects, and they know how to convey the subject clearly to their students. They usually organize visits to factories for the students and help the students to understand the overall subject in a better way. Exams are both hectic and chilled out, depending upon the subject. If the subject is interesting, the exam is chilled out, and when the subject is not interesting, like Maths, it gives a lot of tension.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers strong placements and supportive.
Placements: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colleges B.Com programme has a placement rate of approximately 70%. In the 2023-24 recruitment season, the highest package offered was 22.5 LPA by D. E. Shaw Group, with an average package exceeding 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte USI, KPMG India, PwC India, EY GDS, Accenture, and RSM. The college also facilitates internships with firms like Deloitte and EY, though specific internship placement percentages are not publicly disclosed. Common roles offered encompass consulting, auditing, and financial analysis.
Infrastructure: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College offers well-equipped classrooms, a modern library, high-speed Wi-Fi, and computer labs for B.Com students. Hostel facilities (if applicable) are comfortable, with clean rooms and 24/7 security. The mess and canteen serve hygienic, nutritious meals. Sports facilities include courts for cricket, basketball, and indoor games, with medical assistance readily available.
Faculty: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colleges B.Com faculty is highly qualified and supportive, though some students find teaching quality satisfactory. The curriculum is industry-relevant, preparing students for professional roles. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with high pass rates.
Other: I chose the B.Com programme at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College for its strong reputation in commerce education and active placement cell. The course offers a comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, and opportunities for internships with top firms like Deloitte and KPMG. However, the college could improve by organizing more cultural events and fests, as it currently lacks in these areas. The campus life is vibrant, with various societies and extracurricular activities. The college is well-connected to the city, and the surroundings are conducive to learning. Scholarship opportunities are available for deserving students.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: If we talk about the placements in our college, the average package was 5 lakh per annum and the highest package was 21 lakh per annum. In our course, like the B.Com. Program, about 30 percent of students were being placed last year. Various companies, including Deloitte, have recruited students from our college. If we talk about internships, then about 40 percent of students get the internship based on their skill and CV.
Infrastructure: Right now our college is under construction so infrastructure is improving but their work speed is to slow. It seems like they will need numerous years to renovate buildings and playgrounds. Our college has no hostel so all the students from out of state have to live in a PG or flat and that becomes very costly for the lower middle class people to offer, which is a limitation. An average room with average facilities will cost you a minimum 10 to 11 thousand a month, which is quite costly for the middle class.
Faculty: If we talk about the course curriculum only, BCom has no scope for the future; they do not make you industry-ready; you have to work on your skills so that you don't face any kind of difficulty in the future . Teachers are quite supportive and qualified as well; they always give us genuine advice for the future. The level of semester exams is average; you don't need to take a lot of pressure to score a good CGPA. The passing percentage of the college is equal to the University of Delhi curriculum that you can check.
Other: Honestly, I came from an eca dance western quota for this college; if talk about extracurricular activities, the University of Delhi is way good for it . It gives young talent a chance to showcase themselves . I chose BCOM because I didn't have any option to opt. The thing that needs to change in our course is that students should be taught more real-life skills with more practical subjects so that they can become industry-ready. Particularly, our college doesn't do much festivals or programs, but you can go and enjoy other Delhi universities' festivals and programs, as Delhi students have free entry to other colleges.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Placements are good in our college but the ratio of students who get placement is very low. According to our seniors, we need to be industry-ready, and for that, we need to do internships. The average salary package offered in our college is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like EY, Deloitte, PwC, etc., visit the college to hire students. The top roles offered are audit, sales, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is average. Especially in the evening college, there is no Wi-Fi facility. The only thing I like is our college library but it should be improved. Our classroom has all the basic facilities but there is no air-conditioner. The food quality of our canteen is average.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. Some teachers are there just for their salary. Overall, their teaching is good in our college. In our college B.Com course makes students industry-ready if they possess some quality skills otherwise it will not. I have not appeared till now in exams but according to our seniors, semester exams are not that tough.

I would have been better off in an off campus college than in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
Placements: If you are person who has developed his skills and CV. There's plenty of companies that come to SBSC to recruit for roles like Sales, Auditor, Marketing, business analyst, key accounts manager. And most of the roles are exclusively for B.com and B.com (h) students.
Infrastructure: You get the basic stuff. There's smart classrooms and everything for practicles but the college lacks spirit for extracurricular activities. Sports room has been converted into a class room and allegedly the ground will have a indoor basket ball court sometime in the future but as of now you can't play any sports(or go to the ground at all). The societies are mostly dull with tight budgets.
Faculty: There were outliers in the teaching staff who were about it. There are some valuable things you can learn in the B.com curriculum for your future job. But it's much better to learn skills at an internship. The course is not easy, you'd have to study to pass.
Other: So since you are trying contemplate your next move in career probably. I recommend you to get into a college with lenient attendance requirements which unfortunately is not the case with SBSC. I am saying this because along the way you might find a thing that you are interested in ( a business, part time job, internship ) which will require time commitment but since you are busy in meeting attendence requirements You will miss out on these better things. Even if you want to have fun, the environment and crowd is very unremarkable in that aspect.
