    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Answer: Is B.A. at Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedish College (PGDAV College) worth the investment?

Here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * Good faculty: Most students agree that the teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced.
    * Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for government exams and other sectors.
    * Extracurricular activities: The college offers a range of extracurricular activities, including festivals, fests, and societies.
    * Library and infrastructure: The college library is one of the best in Delhi University, and the infrastructure is good, although not extraordinary.
    * Placement opportunities: While not excellent, the college provides some placement opportunities, with a few students getting internships and jobs.

    Cons:

    * Limited placements: The placement record is average, with fewer companies visiting the campus.
    * Low internships: Fewer students get internships compared to other colleges.
    * Old curriculum: Some students feel that the curriculum is outdated and needs updating.
    * Limited hostel facilities: The college does not have hostel facilities for students.

Overall, while PGDAV College has its strengths, including good faculty and relevant curriculum, the limited placement opportunities and low internship rates may deter some students. If you're looking for a college with strong industry connections and frequent internships, you might consider exploring other options. However, if you prioritize academic rigor and a supportive learning environment, PGDAV College could still be a good choice.

Recommendation: Based on the reviews, I'd recommend PGDAV College to students who are looking for a solid academic foundation and are willing to work hard to secure internships and job opportunities independently. Additionally, students who value a diverse range of extracurricular activities and a strong sense of community within the college may find PGDAV College to be a suitable fit.

Q:   Is it easy to get admission in Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand AngloVedic College for B.A?

    A:

Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic college was established in Delhi in 1957. The famous Maharshi Dayanand Education Trust is behind this college and with their aim of imparting education to the challenged sections of society they have kept their fees to a real low value. This enables many students to pursue their education which they otherwise would not be able to do in many other private colleges under Delhi University. College offers really a wide varieties of courses under Bachelor of arts. As one can expect some courses are in demand and some others are not so much in demand. This of course changes from year to year and as a result, the closing percentage or percentiles of CUET for the different courses too changes from year to year. If one is really interested in seeking admission in this hallowed institution then one must aim for a percentile of above 75 in CUET. Of course it goes without saying that some seats are indeed available in later rounds and could be grabbed at lower percentiles.

Be that as it may, there is a pulpable rush of students to seek admission in some of the very famous private colleges where the closing percentile could be 99 or even 100. Compared with these colleges, one can definitely say that it is easier to get admission in Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic College.

Q:   What is the desired CUET range to get into Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand AngloVedic College for B.A?

    A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic college was established in Delhi in the year 1957. The famous Maharshi Dayanand Education Trust, which runs this college, established the first educational institution for education of the Indians wayback in the late part of 19th century in Lahore. Since then this trust has not looked back and as of now it has more than 800 educational institutions across the world. In today's world this institution is doing a phenomenal work by offering education at absolutely low cost by charging the most minimum tuition fees across all the colleges under Delhi University. The college offers multiple courses in BA, including graduation in Sanskrit. Many a bright students who cannot afford high fees definitely turn to this institute for admission. The normal range of c u e t percentile to get admission in this college is hovering around 70 and above percentile. However few seats do remain vacant in initial rounds and hence those with even lower percentile can get surprise admission in subsequent or mop up round. It's the most unfortunate part that Sanskrit which is perhaps the most ancient language of Indian origin has no takers in today's environment and students with even as low a percentile as below 50 can get admission for the course in this college.

    Best wishes to you.

A life in PGDAV College (University of Delhi).
Placements: There is no placement in our course, B.A (history honours). Till now there is zero percentage of placements in our course, none of the students get any placement. Moreover, college do not prefer any placements and internships to students like us who pursue B.A.
Infrastructure: We have our department room, library and in library we have wi-fi facility too. We have one of the biggest canteens among all the DU colleges and have the biggest ground area too. We do not have any hostel facility in our college. We have good medical facility too.
Faculty: Exam level is the same as all colleges of Delhi University create. Other than the main exam, we have many class assessments and internal assessment tests in a semester. We have well-qualified, knowledgeable, and kind-hearted professors.
Other: The best thing about our course (History Honours) is that we can gain deep knowledge about History go for the government exams and can join the Archaeological Survey of India easily. If we talk about the improvements, infrastructure should be improved. Reissue of the book from the library is very difficult, so it must be improved.

Just an okay college of DU.
Placements: The placements are very average at PGDAV College, Delhi University. The average placement package is around INR 4 LPA. However, it is also course-specific. When compared to the north campus, PGDAV does not offer very impressive placements since it's a tier-2 college of Delhi University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay at our college. The playground is the highlight of PGDAV College. It is a very big field. Besides, it has a library, air-conditioned and regular classrooms, laboratories, computer labs and an auditorium as well. It also has a canteen.
Faculty: The faculty, curriculum and staff are also average at PGDAV College. The teachers are knowledgeable and always help the students but the class teaching lacks interactive discussions. Sometimes, guest lectures also take place at the college.
