Come to learn and enjoy college days.

Placements: If we talk about the placement cell, it was good and up to the mark in helping and bringing the students openings in the fields of work. Many good firms took the students as freshers.

Fee was very less and all other things were decent but the crowd in the college was poor

Placements: The placements in my college were not that good. Though we had recruiters like Ernst and Young, Royal Bank Of Scotland, Larsen and Toubro and LimeTray coming to our college for recruitment, only around 20-25% were placed at my college. The highest package offered was around Rs. 10 lakh and the average was Rs. 3.5 lakh. The roles offered were junior analyst, sales trainee, etc.

Emerging as a good college.

Placements: The college has a dedicated team of students who look after the placements (both off and on campus). The team is formed every year from scratch and has been successful in providing relevant placements to students of various courses offered by the college. The placement of the commerce students has the major share of the pie followed by computer science students and statistics. Companies like EY, AON and Genpact consistently come to offer various roles in their respective operations. The pay pack...

Life at PGDAV. (Infrastructure, Academics, Faculty)

Placements: Placements were good and reputed companies have been participating e.g. EY. The placement cell of this college is one of the active placement cells of Delhi University. Reputed faculty members are involved in cell and have contributed very much. These are the things that are making the placement cell of PGDAV College great. Internship fairs have been organized by the placement cell for 4 consecutive years, which makes the difference.

A college with good faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements of PGDAV college are pretty good. We have our own placement cell which is quite active. A few months back they organised an internship job fair which was really helpful. Many students got internships. My friend got paid internships for five thousand in GROLIER. Companies like EnY, Accenture, ICICI, L&T and many more visit our college for campus placements. 60% of the students got placed through campus recruitments. The average package offered was 3-4 lakh. ...

My reason for admission in PGDAV is its faculty.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and works hard for preparing the students for getting good placements. Many big and reputed companies visit the campus like IBM, RBS Bank, EnY, L&T, etc. and the average package goes above 3.5 lakhs which seems good to me after graduation. Seminars are also frequently organized by the cell for motivating students and helping them in personality development.

Great faculty and placements but need to improve the infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is making a great deal in enhancing the placements level of the college. EnY, IBM, L&T, ICICI bank etc visit the college campus. The average package is increasing every year and in the coming years, they promised to get KPMG for campus recruitments. Internship fares are also organised by the cell. In the last semester, two of my classmates were selected for 2 months paid internship.

A plus point for the college is the faculty.

Placements: Students get opportunities to get placed in highly reputed companies like IBM Concentric, Ernst & Young, L&T, etc. The placement cell of the college is highly active and encourages students and helps them in personality development to get campus placement. Internship fairs are also organized by the placement cell.

College review - PGDAV College.

Placements: Students get selected in companies like Ernst and young, TCS ignite RBS Bank, L&T, IBM etc. The placement cell of the college is very active. They prepare students to crack the interviews by guiding on preparing the resume to how to take an interview. They even sponsor internship events in which students get opportunities to work with startups in their after the semester break.

Average college with average facilities.

Placements: Among the big four, only EnY visits the campus. The rest are TCS Ignite, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Oberoi Group, AON Hewitt, IBM Concentrix, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Larson and Toubro (L&T), Genpact etc. In the session, 2015-16 340 students were placed in these companies.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very efficient and always gives its best to students. Various companies are invited for the recruitment process. The college tries its best to give 100% placement results. Companies like EY, RBS etc are also invited in the college. Various internship opportunities are also provided to students.

Not the best but adjustable. Good faculty but moderate infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are quite fine. Many companies visit our campus but not the top four. EY too visited our campus. Internships offered are quite good this year as there was an internship fair of two days too. The average stipend offered is between five to ten thousand. One is able to learn a lot.

Don't go by the name, it's a good college.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is quite active and organise seminars which are quite helpful. A lot of companies like EY visit the college for recruitment. It also organises an internship fair, which is beneficial. One of my friends got a paid summer internship for 2 months, through this fair.

With the recent development both in infrastructure and placements, I am satisfied with my college.

Placements: The placements for our batch were better than the last year batch. Almost 90% got placed with the highest package of 4.5 lacs and the lowest of 2.2 lacs. EON, E&Y, L&T and some startups visited the campus and offered different roles like BD executive and marketing executive.

Honest and bitter review of college PGDAV College, University of Delhi. Location: Nehru Nagar.

Placements: Placement cell is working their best to give companies chance to explore students of the college, but need to improve the placement cell and invite better companies to campus drive. Rest selection process, test conduction and interview rounds are pretty well done by placement cells.

Placements: Few people get placement in my batch or senior batch. Percentage of placement was 50%. The highest placement is 4.5 lakhs per annum, the lowest placement is 2.5 lakhs per annum, and the average salary is 3 lakhs per annum. Some companies are off-campus, and some are on-campus. Insurance agent, financial adviser, and assistant manager are the roles offered to the students. Percentage of students who got an internship is 20%. Good learning environment with an awesome campus life.

Placements: To be very honest the placement scenario is pretty average. A lot of companies visit the campus but the average package offered is in the Rs. 2.5- Rs.3.5 lpa bracket. But the figures are not that bad too, considering the fact the students are just graduates in their specific fields. The college has a working placement cell that ensures a decent placement for its deserving students. Some of the major and regular recruiters are - Genpact, Royal Bank of Scotland, IBM, Concentrix, AON Hewitt, Ernst...

PGDAV, a college where I took admission.

Placements: Talking about placements, they don’t have placement for B.Sc in mathematics honors. No company visits for the recruitment process and also, they don’t have links with any company’s HR. Placement cell was disappointing.

Not happy with the infrastructure.

Placements: PGDAV is very active in terms of offering jobs and internships. Since the first day of the college, there have been many workshops regarding jobs and interviews. Apart from this, many recruiting companies have been regularly coming to the college to offer jobs. So definitely, the college is very good regarding jobs and internship.
