A - Z about Parala Maharaja Engineering College.

Placements: As I was in the 2nd batch of my college, all students were placed off campus. Some students went for higher studies and some were placed in IT companies. In recent times college is conducting on campus placement drives. Amongst recruiters TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO are the topmost.

Overall, the college is good. Communication system is not good.

Placements: 2-3 companies come to the college and select few students by conducting interviews. But now, the college is trying to improve placements and bring more companies to college.

Dissatisfied as there is no good placement, very less students get placed every year.

Placements: Placements here are not quite good and we have to struggle hard for our bright career ahead. Only 20% got placed last year. Each year only 20 to 30% get placed. Companies like wipro, Infosys, Surya companies, NET to source had come to recruit students. Yes, there is placement cell.

I am absolutely satisfied due to good teaching style and completing the course within the period.

Placements: Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Surya Lights, Net2source etc., visit the college and recruit the students (final year engineering) who satisfy the criteria. The interview process is done in 3 stages. The 1st stage is the written exam, the 2nd stage is group discussion, and finally, the students who passed in the above two round are eligible for the last stage. The last stage of the placement is the personal interview. In our college, Mr Raghunandana Dash is our placement coordinator.

From every point of view, the college is average.

Placements: From the placement of view, the college is average, but the placements are gradually increasing. When I was studying in the 1st year, there were almost no placements, but in 4th year 6 to 7 companies came for the placements. It was quite good to see my college developing.

It is a fast growing government engineering college.

Placements: The campus placements are not there. But in the last 2 years, they companies like Wipro, TCS, and Infosys are coming to the campus. The package is around 3.2 lacs per annum. Some management companies are also coming like Softnet, Tata BSS, etc., which offers 3 lacs per annum. The students are getting an internship in IITs and NITs and some through internal.com.

A fast-growing government college in southern Odisha.

Placements: Last 2-3 years, the placements have been good. We had Wipro on board consistently for the last three years. Last year along with Wipro we had Net2source, Tata BSS, information tech and infinity solutions. Wipro had given 3.2 LPA as a package. The other companies too had offered the package around 2-3 LPA. This year, we are expecting a lot of more opportunities for our students.

Good college because of nice campus surrounding, infrastructure and facilities, and placements.

Placements: PMEC Berhampur has established a full-fledged training and placement cell which periodically liaises and interact with the corporate world in order to explore the possibility of training and job placement of students. In recent past, the college was paid visits by top most campus recruiters like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Tega, HAL, Reliance, etc.

Hereby, I consider the institute one of the best colleges in Odisha under BPUT.

Placements: Although I am new to the institute, I have approximate knowledge about the placements in the college. The companies like TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Wipro, Infosys, etc. takes placement session in the college, and most numbers of students selected by Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and TCS. Accenture took 10 students in the year 2014, TCS recruited 10 students in the year 2014, 8 students in 2015 and further I have no information. The institute is given a B+ grade for placement although, it is...

In 2015 and 2016, the college has the good placements.

Placements: The campus placements for our batch and our senior batch are too good. This year, the company UPRO makes a campus placement in our college. Most of our seniors got selected on that campus. Most of the other companies visited and placed the students in the placement. The highest salary is up to 3.6 lacs per annum.

The college is under development and it is growing very fast.

Placements: Only 6 to 7 companies are coming to our college each year from the last 3 years in which Wipro is the common one. 50 students get selected every year and had 3.8 Lacs per annum is the package offered. About 60% of the students are selected in the total campus which is quite impressive according to last 9 years.

Quite dissatisfied with the poor placements, but from other aspects, this is a better place.

Placements: Don't ask for placements and opportunities. It doesn't give any good placements. We all have to go to the off-campus drives. The highest package offered that I know is 3.2 Lacs per annum. And obviously, it is not a good deal for the government college. If this type of package is offered, then what is the benefit of studying in the government college. But still, there is a hope of getting placements in near future because the development of the college is getting fast day by day.

Dissatisfied with the placements, but the faculty members and infrastructure facilities are good.

Placements: This college is the first government engineering college in the southern Odisha. It was started in 2008, the placements in this college are very poor a few students got placed, and that is also through the pool campus (organised by the government ). The packages offered are not up to the mark. And if someone is from the software branch, then this college is somewhat helpful as far as pool campus is concerned. For core branches, the college is not up to the mark. A scholarship of Rs 10,000 is off...

An average college for now but will improve with time.

Placements: Since it was established in the year 2009, so the placement facility is not very good here. Though in 2017 there were some few reputed companies recruiting students at a good pay scale. All in all, within few years you are going to find a lot of companies setting their foot for this college.

All about my Parala Maharaja Engineering College. It is really the perfect college.

Placements: in Parala Maharaja Engineering College, many companies are coming for placements like Wipro etc and also, students getting a job with a starting salary of 20,000 or more. So, it is a better option for us to get a job here because in placements, the competition is less in our college and the chance of getting a job is high.

Placements: There has been only one placement drive arranged in our college. Only 3-4 students are placed. It is a software-based company. The students' performance is average.

The college has a good scope in future.

Placements: There were not any on campus placements but now Wipro had a placement drive. Almost 15-20% of students have been placed with a package in the range 2-4 LPA. Only 3-4 software companies have visited the college for placements.

Parala maharaja engineering best for engineering.

Placements: During the course 2 internship is required to be done by a student of their own. The stipend is there for Sc/St and Obc student yearly. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA etc. Recruit the students. Off-campus, placement is PREFERRED for good salary packages. Overall placement is around 30-50 percent.
