Pretty satisfied with the faculties and courses and extracurricular activities, but disappointed wit

Placements: Parala maharaja engineering college which is well known as PMEC is gradually developing day by day in each department. Coming to placement for electronics and telecommunication course there is no such placements for student. But the college authority is providing placement for students in IT software and consultancy jobs for all the branches. But year by year the college authority will provide some core jobs in respective departments such as civil, etc., electrical, mech, automobile etc. During ...

It is a very good college. You can get the daily needs within the college.

Placements: It is a new government. The college was established in 2009. However, it is developing well unlike other government colleges. Both on-campus and off-campus selections are conducted in our college. Last year, placements were provided for all branches except civil engineering. However, they are trying very well. The placement section of the college is working very hard to provide placements to the students of all branches.

Placements were good in 2019. This is a good college.

Placements: Only job consultancies visit the campus for placements. Companies are not related to any of the branches. When I joined this college, no company used to visit here. Our seniors also said that not even a single company showed any interest during their tenure too. Only a few students opt for placements because of the low salary packages.

Fantastic college with abundant knowledge resource personnel.

Placements: Every year students are offered multiple placement opportunities in different companies. Many software companies visit the campus for recruitment through the on-campus placement drives organised by the college every year. Internship certificates are provided to all the students after the successful completion of their training in reputed companies like HAL, NTPC, and Tata Motors.

It is a good college in South Odisha. It is growing and more students are take admissions.

Placements: Companies are visiting the campus, but most of them are consultancy companies that offer salary packages around 2 LPA. Around 40 to 50 students get placed from every placement. Recently, a civil engineering company had visited and offered a salary of nearly Rs. 12,000 per month, but students did not show interest. Many students in our college do not show any interest in placements. Placements are the second choice of students in case they do not qualify the entrance exams of institutes.

Finally for the academic batch of 2019-20 vits is good.

Placements: As it is a state government college, so placements are not so high. Also it is not remarkable. Finally its too poor. But various programmes are going on. The improvement of performances of students in interviews. Also various skill develop classes are going on under 3 is funded by world bank.

Our college is the best government college in Berhampur.

Placements: The college offers good placement opportunities. Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements. Placements in electronic, civil, and mechanical engineering departments are also good. The college invites companies which offer low salaries for students. The salaries offered by these companies are as low as Rs. 20,000-40,000 per month.

The college has good infrastructure, average placements and awesome teaching.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. As the college was established recently, reputed companies are not visiting the campus. Only BPOs and management companies are visiting which are not good for an engineering student. In the end, you can have 3 to 4 job offers in your hand. You can get placed through off-campus placement drives as well.

The infrastructure of our college is not good.

Placements: Our senior batch students got placed in very good companies. Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Tech Mahindra and TCS companies have visited the campus. Technician and coding posts were offered to the students.

As I already spend 3yrs in this college so I can say that it is one of the best engineering college.

Placements: This time, i.e. in 2018, around 100 students out of 700 got placed in different companies, and they are only 4th-year students who are in 7th semester now. So more companies will come till the end of 4th year. Companies like TCS, E-Team, Enable, Mobilite, Pyramid Consultant Service and Alok Textile Industry visited the campus for placements and offered packages around 3-4 lacs per annum to start and it will be increased along with time with good facilities. So we can say that placements for stud...

A - Z about Parala Maharaja Engineering College.

Placements: As I was in the 2nd batch of my college, all students were placed off campus. Some students went for higher studies and some were placed in IT companies. In recent times college is conducting on campus placement drives. Amongst recruiters TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO are the topmost.

Overall, the college is good. Communication system is not good.

Placements: 2-3 companies come to the college and select few students by conducting interviews. But now, the college is trying to improve placements and bring more companies to college.

Dissatisfied as there is no good placement, very less students get placed every year.

Placements: Placements here are not quite good and we have to struggle hard for our bright career ahead. Only 20% got placed last year. Each year only 20 to 30% get placed. Companies like wipro, Infosys, Surya companies, NET to source had come to recruit students. Yes, there is placement cell.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: As it is a new college, the placements are average. Only 35-40% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is Rs. 3.26 Lacs per annum. Tech giants like TCS, Wipro, Surya Electricals, etc., recruit students.

The highest salary offered was 4.5 LPA, and the minimum salary offered was around Rs.17,000 per month. About 90% of the students get internships.

I am absolutely satisfied due to good teaching style and completing the course within the period.

Placements: Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Surya Lights, Net2source etc., visit the college and recruit the students (final year engineering) who satisfy the criteria. The interview process is done in 3 stages. The 1st stage is the written exam, the 2nd stage is group discussion, and finally, the students who passed in the above two round are eligible for the last stage. The last stage of the placement is the personal interview. In our college, Mr Raghunandana Dash is our placement coordinator.

From every point of view, the college is average.

Placements: From the placement of view, the college is average, but the placements are gradually increasing. When I was studying in the 1st year, there were almost no placements, but in 4th year 6 to 7 companies came for the placements. It was quite good to see my college developing.

The college is good as it has co-operative teachers and principal.

Placements: The placements are good. 2 Seniors were placed in PSU. 40% of the students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package was 8 LPA, the average salary was 3.5-4 LPA, and the lowest salary was 2.2 LPA. According to my knowledge about placement, everything is okay, and it is a nice college. I would rate 3.5 for the placements.

We are PMECian's, and we are the best.

Placements: The placements of our course-related companies are good, and they are coming in numbers to take our students for their companies that make our college reputation not only the college but also they make the life of the students. The companies like Wipro and Infosys are coming here for the placements.
