All about Patna Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: There are a total of 200 students in each batch. After completing the 4th year, all Medicos have to do an internship in the college. The internship lasts for 1 year, and you will be paid about 20,000 rupees per month. All students in each batch must do the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not so good right now, but the renovation is ongoing. The government has also stated that this college will become the largest medical hospital in Asia and the second-largest hospital in the world. A library is provided inside the campus, but first-year students are not allowed in it. All the necessary books for MBBS study are available in the library, and it is equipped with AC. New hostels are being built, but first-year students do not get a hostel. They get one when promoted to the second year or beyond.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and cooperative. They are always ready to solve our doubts and provide organs for revision whenever needed. All faculty members are well qualified and are doctors. They have completed their post-graduation and further degrees. There are three semester exams in the college. The level of exams is medium, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor. The patient load at my college is much higher than in other colleges in Bihar. Every year, in February, the College Foundation Day function is held. This event runs for approximately one month and includes many activities like singing, dancing, open mic, and more.

A great place to learn and gain confidence for the outside world.
Placements: The course has a 1-year compulsory internship included in the course itself. The stipend in our state is 20000 per month. Everyone who passes the final year is eligible for the internship. Students give NEET PG to get their specialisation branch. Some also join medical offices to gain experience or to take a break to prepare for their NEET PG.
Infrastructure: The college is undergoing a whole construction and upgrade. The new hospital building is world class but the hostels and other departments are undergoing construction. The construction work has made our college a little mess. The new boys hostel is top-notch. The girls hostel would be ready by the NEST year with all new facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. The teachers, being practicing professionals themselves, make the lectures interesting and fun. They are very cordial and approachable. Everyone is updated with the current happenings in the medical profession. The hospital being the largest in the state gets every type of patient and clinical is really a big point. The semesters are held on time and are of a high, difficult level. The minimum required percentage for passing is 50%. It may seem easy but scoring this much is a tough nut.
Other: The college celebrates its annual fests and Saraswati puja very vibrantly. These are the two big events at our college. Besides these, all festivals are celebrated year-round on campus, with the faculty indulging themselves.

Review of Patna Medical College And Hospital.
Placements: Our college has a strength of 200 MBBS seats per year. With a 4.5 year, of course, we have a compulsory internship of 1 year with a stipend of 20,000 per month in different departments. In medical as such, no company visits your college, as in engineering, you have to compete for PG seat through NEET PG. But with a glorious history of 100 years, our college have a great alumni network all over world.
Infrastructure: As our college is 100 years old, it has some old buildings, but under a new development scheme, new buildings are under construction with world-class facilities to be completed by 2027. And after that, Patna will be the world's second-largest hospital with approximately 5300 beds. Our college has an AC library, a common room for Indore games, outdoor games like tennis court and all, a canteen, and being situated on the bank of the Ganga, a mesmerizing view to have in all weather.
Faculty: Our course is based on new CBME curriculum introduced by the National commission of India. With a helpful team of good professors and PGs, we have good mentors and teachers for every subject, interactive class, and projector-based teaching. With a huge lab of different departments with their corresponding faculty, we can have in-depth knowledge of the subject in every practical aspect. It's a tough course; exams are difficult but anyone can make it.
Other: Being doctor is a different feeling; you get to treat people who respect you. You have respect in society and, of course, handsome money too. Our college hosts lots of events every year. One of which is worth mentioning is CFD ( college function day) every year in February. It is a 15-day-long event with lots of competition and culture programs in every aspect of arts and education, with lots of sports and events, and the most important DJ night, dandiya night, fashion show, band show, baby show, and lots more fun activities. Being in town, we have access to every facility and each part of Patna is easily accessible from our college.

Absolutely satisfied because of top faculty, good placements, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: After MBBS, it is almost 100% placement in PHC or SHC level but most people prefer further post-graduation and specialisation after it. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Government hospitals hire mainly MBBS graduates. Corporate hospitals need post-graduation and specialisation. A doctor is a role offered after MBBS.
Infrastructure: Top-quality classrooms, labs, library, and Wi-Fi are available in our college. Top-quality hostel, mess, food, and medical facilities from basic to emergency needs are also available on campus. There is a nice ground to play cricket, football, etc. The seniors are very interactive and the warden is cooperative. Facilities like water, bathrooms, toilets, etc., are nice.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well qualified, and highly knowledgeable. They teach every topic in a very detailed way. MBBS is a very relevant course with its services always of value from the beginning of civilisation to the end of the world. Semester exams are a bit tough with a pass percentage of about 90%.

It is one of the oldest and renowned medical college of India with best patient exposure.
Placements: After completing internships you can apply for medical offices in state government if else you can't easily get a job as a junior resident in private hospitals. Many students here start preparing for the NEET PG examination for selecting MD or MS courses for better placements.
Infrastructure: There are 7 boys hostels and 1 ladies hostel in this college. As hostel fee is very less approximately Rs.9600 per year. Facilities are adequate like air-conditioners, induction and attached bathroom. so, most of the students prefer to stay in a hostel. The best quality of food is provided in the hostel as there are 5 mess and can change it accordingly.
Faculty: As it is the best medical college in Bihar, faculty members are the topmost doctors, so their teaching experience and quality are awesome. There is a total of 9 semesters and 4 university exams in our college. Semesters are not so difficult to pass.
Other: We have 15 days of events of many programs, concerts, and various sports activities in February month as College foundation day.

Great college life and apt exposure to patients.
Placements: The college provides great hands-on experience with the huge number of patients visiting the hospital. Great professors who are specialised in their fields are available in our college. Several coaching institutes are available nearby to ensure proper preparation for the NEET PG exam. After MBBS, most of the students attempt PG exams but you can also intern under some expert doctorates and continue practicing.
Infrastructure: The mess food is not great in our college. It's quite full and boring. Most of the students hate the mess food. They keep visiting the eateries present outside campus to have good food. New hostels are under construction. So the issue of accommodation will soon get sorted. Even now, almost all the students are allotted proper rooms but the hostels are quite old. Few sports facilities are available.
Faculty: The pass percentage is good almost 95%. As long as the students maintain their conduct, the professors do not fail them. All those who keep studying properly throughout the semester can easily pass. You can also pass by mugging up for a few days before exams. The semester exams are apt and not too tough in our college.
Other: The annual Waves fest conducted in our college is great. It is one of the best in northern India.
