A great place to learn and gain confidence for the outside world.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. The teachers, being practicing professionals themselves, make the lectures interesting and fun. They are very cordial and approachable. Everyone is updated with the current happenings in the medical profession. The hospital being the largest in the state gets every type of patient and clinical is really a big point. The semesters are held on time and are of a high, difficult level. The minimum required percentage for passing is 50%. It may seem...

Review of Patna Medical College And Hospital.

Faculty: Our course is based on new CBME curriculum introduced by the National commission of India. With a helpful team of good professors and PGs, we have good mentors and teachers for every subject, interactive class, and projector-based teaching. With a huge lab of different departments with their corresponding faculty, we can have in-depth knowledge of the subject in every practical aspect. It's a tough course; exams are difficult but anyone can make it.

MBBS is a very relevant course with its services always of value from the beginning of civilisation to the end of the world. Semester exams are a bit tough with a pass percentage of about 90%.

Great college life and apt exposure to patients.

Faculty: The pass percentage is good almost 95%. As long as the students maintain their conduct, the professors do not fail them. All those who keep studying properly throughout the semester can easily pass. You can also pass by mugging up for a few days before exams. The semester exams are apt and not too tough in our college.

Our college doesn't have a good campus which is only drawback. You can join here in 2025 05 2026.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good. You will have each and every department separately to get good clinical exposure, and that is a very important thing in a medical college. The labs are somehow not so good.

It is going to be the biggest hospital of the country.

Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified. Every department has HOD, 2-3 associate professors, PG doctors, and other staff members. Management and staff are hardworking. Minimum of 50% marks is required to pass a university exam. PMCH comes under Aryabhatta Knowledge University.

It is difficult to fit in the college hostel in the beginning.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and are interested in clinical teachings in the wards. But in lecture classes, only a few faculty members are interested in teaching willingly. Rest just put a PowerPoint presentation and finish off their lectures by reading those PowerPoint slides, which is not acceptable at all. The course structure is good, with a focus on clinical exposures only. There is no focus on research work, and in the past 30 to 40 years, no research work has been done. There are 9-...

It is the most prestigious medical college of Bihar.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and clinical teaching is quite good. They give you sufficient exposure to common cases as well as time for self-study/coaching to make you ready to face PG exams. A New competency-based curriculum is being implemented here. Semester exams are held in 6 months and annual professional examinations are held as per the schedule of Aryabhatta Knowledge University in which the pass percentage is the highest among all government medical colleges of Bihar, and usually, it ...

Join PMCH, and be the best.

Faculty: Almost all the eminent doctors in Bihar and all over the globe have been a student of this college. Most of them are teaching in this hospital now. They impart all the knowledge they have and always help us to become a better practitioner than them. They are the best.
