It is a good college, and it has value for money.
Placements: About 25% of students are placed in ISE. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. IBM and Intel are the top recruiting companies. About 75% of students got internships. Engineering students in the 2021 batch got 15 LPA. They also got internships with a stipend of Rs. 25000 per month.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our department. From 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the library and labs are open. Students can use the library and labs at any time during college hours. There is a canteen. Good-quality food is available in the mess. More encouragement is given to sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly with students. They also support us in doing projects. They are well-qualified and educated. They give training to students. At least 85% of students pass every subject. Teachers are well trained. They are very supportive.

Our college provides good faculty members.
Placements: Around 50-80% of students got placed in our college. Placements depend on students' skills. Our college helps students for better recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was very good. Classrooms were spacious. Laboratory was well-equipped. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Hostels were very good. Sports were conducted in this college. We also had a gym facility on campus. There were 5 playgrounds. We also had a huge cricket stadium, and around 1,000 students could accommodate easily.
Faculty: All teachers were very good. This college was affiliated with VTU. Semester exams were conducted strictly.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in computers. Our college should provide good placements. Events were conducted such as musical nights, flash mobs, exhibitions, etc.

The college has a good infrastructure. It is located in a good environment.
Placements: I have completed my engineering at PESITM College Shivamoga in the department of information science and engineering. I joined PESITM college in the year 2015 and finished the course in 2019. Our college is under VTU. Almost 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5-3 LPA. TCS, TEKSystems, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Mindtree, etc. The college conducts NPTEL exams, technical workshops, and paper presentations. Almost 20% of the students got internships in companies like Loginware, Oracle. Our placement training officer provided a lot of opportunities to the students to get placed in top MNCs as well as the startup companies and training institutions.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was good and well designed. The college infrastructure was awesome. Facilities including classrooms, library, and labs designed are well and disciplined. When I was studying, hostel wardens and security were very fit. But the quality of the food served was not that good. Now, hopefully, it might be changed. Games and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and friendly. They are well educated. The teaching quality was also awesome; the communication is good. Faculty teaching was also very good, and we can learn many concepts in the class. Our department information science and engineering have subjects or courses relevant to software jobs. You can get placed in top MNCs.
Other: Our course was very interesting, and I learnt a lot of new things. My branch ISE has many subjects related to technology, and there we learnt a lot of technical things which we see now as an engineer.

Our college is very good. It's well maintained. Highly recommended for Malnad and Shimoga people.
Placements: It is a very good college to study engineering. It is the best college ever in Malnad Shimoga. The highest salary package offered in our college was around 7.2 LPA. The campus offers a very good atmosphere.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are very near, and the infrastructure is well maintained. The college has a good library with good infrastructure, and it is maintained by good staff members. It is a very neat and clean college for studies. Wi-Fi with smart classrooms is available. The hostel is good for students from other places. The rooms are available with well-furnished beds. A 24x7 Wi-Fi connection is enabled for hostel students. A hot water facility with good food is provided here. There is a well-friendly hostel with very good security for girls.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified, friendly, and experienced. They treat students as friends. The second-year course is relevant. It is very helpful to get a job in a software felid. There are good staff members, and a good education is given in a good environment. Teaching faculty members are also good with friendly nature.
Other: I was interested in computers as it can help to get a job easily and quickly. I chose this college as it has a very campus. The course provided me with a good knowledge of computers and programming. There are many events and extracurricular activities such as fest, ethnic wear, etc. The college also provides scholarships to the students. Everything is fine and good at PESITM, Malnad Shimoga.

The college is good. Dissatisfied with some of the rules.
Placements: The placements in our college are good. We will get few good companies to attend the interviews, and other companies mostly offer tech support roles. If someone really wants to get placed, he/she has to work hard to get placed in those few companies. The average salary offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary offered is 6.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure. Our college has one of the best infrastructures. The labs, classrooms and library are good. The sports equipment in the college are few. The food in the canteen is not good. I did not choose the hostel, so I have no idea about it. We have a football ground and a cricket ground.
Faculty: My stream was information science and engineering. This branch was very good when compared to the other branches. In this branch, the lecturers have a good qualification, and also they all have a great experience. Their way of teaching is nice. They assist the students in class and labs.
Other: There is a great opportunity to shine in college if one has talent. It's a great platform to showcase your talent.
