Placements: From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Only E&Y visited the campus, and I guess 5-10 offers were made. The highest package offered was around 3.6 LPA. Only 5-7% of students got placed. In the 5th semester, companies started coming to the college, and we became eligible for placements. Companies like LIC BOB Max Life Insurance, Amazon, Flipkart, etc., come here. Almost 60% of students get placed.
Placements: More than 75% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 20 LPA. Many companies like Amazon and MNC visit our college to hire students. They interact with various students and offer many jobs. Amazon is the top recruiting company for our course. More than 60% of students get internships in Amazon.
Placements: As it was a government college, it does not ensure placements but it provides a good scope in sports and NCC. Students were independent. For students from science side, this college does not provide any placements. They conduct regular career counseling sessions and teachers provide a lot of information regarding careers.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. If you are doing a programming course, then it is tough. But if you do a professional course, then there is a possibility to get placement. There is no thesis work in masters. Our college does not provide an internship, so students get an internship on their own. Top roles are offered to students.
Placements: The college has a good number of placements for superiority through job fest such as content writers, freelancing services, HR recruitment, privates bankers, and many more opportunities. There are good labs with all the needed apparatus required for any experiments.
Placements: This college is not known for its placement. There is zero campus placement for the Bachelor of Arts course. No companies visit to recruit Arts students. The placements are usually done for professional courses students. Students who opt for B.A. usually prepare for competitive exams.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not offered here. Only a few call centre companies visited our campus for placements. That did not serve any good purpose for the students. Any graduate or post graduate doesn't want to join any call centre job. So we had to search for a good job opportunity by ourselves.
Placements: This college is the worst at providing placements. Only BPOs visited the campus for placements. Not even a single good company visited the campus for placements. Do not rely totally on campus placements. Some banks visit the campus but offer unpaid internships. I don't recommend this college if you want campus placements.
Placements: Placements in our college were not at all decent as only the call centres visited our campus to offer placements. If you want to pursue higher studies, then this college can be considered because of the low fee structure. Internships were not a part of the course curriculum. There is a placement cell in our college and those who want placements can seek their assistance.
Placements: Most of the placement opportunities provided were related to BPO and marketing sectors, but there were no job opportunities for finance and human resource courses. Students of marketing branch can get a job according to their skills and abilities. BPO related jobs were good enough too.
Placements: In our college there are no such type of courses in which placements should be there. The college provides internships only in few courses. Like the Psychology departments holds the internship of counsellors. Well I too believe that there should be internships.
Placements: The companies like Tech Mahindra, Apollo, Wipro come up for the placement drives in our college. There are jobs for BPO, lab testing etc. offered to the students every year, and the rate of internships increase every year. Approximately 60% of the students go for internships every year.
Placements: The college has a very good placement cell. It offers a very good placement opportunities to the students. The faculty helps to attend the interview but only small percent of students are offered jobs. Only top 5-6 students gets placed last year. The college is among 10 top colleges of Chandigarh.
Placements: Nearly 50% of the students were offered placement through campus placement which was held annually. The highest package was 3 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 1 lac per annum. The added advantage was that most jobs were offered in hometown. The students were offered managerial and administrative as well as marketing profiles.
Placements: The percentage of placement is quite low, but the college emphasises to improve its placement activities by enhancing the events and participation of the placement cell. The feedback forms are filled by the students and the suggestions are taken into consideration by the students as well as the staff members of the college in order to maximise the placement opportunities for the students.
Placements: Though very renowned and well-versed companies visit the campus, the rate of placement is not very high, rather, it is below average. But, it is a boon for the students who get placed in the reputed organisations and the MNCs, as it provides a good opportunity to kick start the career for freshers.
I joined PGGC 11 in 2005 in Humanities stream. The main reason behind joining this college was, most of IAS officers from Punjab and Chandigarh region were pass outs of this college. And number of politicians also graduated from this college. Being a government college, it has good facilities and also the faculty here is one of the best in our city. The faculty here comes from different parts of India as Chandigarh is Union Territory. Also fees here is pretty less as compared to other colleges. ...
Placements: Every student gets an equal opportunity to get placed. Skills are preferred more than marks during placements. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Flipkart, HDFC, etc.
Placements: There is no placement from the college. For courses like B.Sc. (Computer Science, non M.Ed M.Ed you have to do an individual internship and find a job for yourself. As for my course, I've heard that computer coursed students are in high demand during and after the pandemic, it is, but it's difficult to find a job out there because it's competition everywhere.
Placements: About 30% of the students were placed from our college. The salary packages offered are not very high, but on average, they were 2.5 LPA. HCL, pharmaceutical companies, Bestech, call centre companies, etc., visit here. On average, about 30% of the students got internships. Many students were offered jobs in call centers and product marketing.
