Placements: Our college is the best in placements. They provide placements to almost every student from the department of each stream. The average salary package offered is 2-3 LPA. Most of the students are from IT, CS and management courses.
Placements: Major companies visited the college to offer placements to the marketing department. The highest package offered for the BMS course was close to 3 LPA. Many students had to find internships outside the college, on their own. Overall, the college placements are average.
Placements: 60% and above with no backlog is the criteria for placement. The highest salary offered by them is 2.5lpa per annum. Tcs, LTI, CAPGEMINI. Etc. Are the top recruiters. Talking about placements, the college gives the best placements and opportunities for the students to show their passion and skills throughout the companies in which they are given the placement. The role offered were for sales, finance, HR and many more. The max salary offered is 10k and min 8k. The salary may differ according to ...
Placements: The placement in Pillai's college is pathetic. Even a finance student is offered a sales job, isn't it disgusting? 90% of the companies are from the banking sector but no one comes with a quality offer for a finance student. If this is what a college is offering to a BMS student. Then why are they providing a BMS student electives in SY?
Placements: Placements in college were good when compared to other colleges in Navi Mumbai. Reputed companies visited the campus and offered good salary packages. The college can provide relevant placements to students matching the stream students have opted for. Good companies provide good salary packages, and the college should invite those companies.
Placements: Didn't apply for placements for higher education. But the college placement is good and have provided placements to majority of students, approximately 60 to 70 percent. The college visited for industrial training and various internships are offered.
Placements: Placements in the college were not that great as jobs were only provided for marketing students and not for other students. Hence, it was a very bad experience in terms of placements. There was no proper prior intimation given. It is very sad to find that students got placements not related to their field.
Placements: The placements at Pillai College are not that good. No big company visited the campus for placements. None of the banks or organisations from the banking sector visited the campus for placements. Companies only visit to hire the students of the BMS course. So, even management students pursue codification and mapping courses. If the college has a good reputation, they should invite reputed companies for its students and provide job opportunities depending on the academic background of students.
Placements: A good company named AON visited the college to recruit the students of our batch. This was good for commerce students. Here Maps also visited the campus and recruited a lot of students. But, if you are not from the IT background, it is difficult to get placed. They have mostly recruited the students for coding and other fields.
Placements: The placement opportunities that the college is providing are not that great. Salary packages offered are very less because all the students applied for placements are freshers and maximum students wish to study further rather than working. I have seen some students getting placed with a salary package of around 2 LPA.
Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Very few companies visit the campus for placements. Placement committee doesn't pay attention or does not provide any pre-placement training for students. The average salary package offered ranges between 2.5-3 LPA. Only 20% of the students got placed.
Placements: Candidates in B.Sc IT, B.Sc CS and commerce students get good placement opportunities in companies like Here Solutions, Wipro Technologies, Infosys and Capgemini. Students scoring above 60% can get placements easily. Companies coming for placements come on unexpectedly and don't inform before a week or two for the students to be well-prepared. However, lots of students get placed easily if they attend college every day.
Placements: Companies like Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Aditya Sun Life, TCS, Infosys, Byju's are the top recruiters of the Pillai College, and most of the students get selected with a handsome package. Each of those companies selects around 6-7 students during placements.
Placements: This college does not have significant placements for biotechnology students. The teachers here try their best to place you in some marketing jobs, which may not be related to the stream. Ideally, we need placements for pharma, food, cosmetic industries or in any research firm.
Placements: Got placed in Wipro as well as LnT but don't made to continue with both or at least one. I got chance to appear because of the fine academic records. But those who don't fit in criteria have to place by there own search. It's not easy to be best in today competitive world. You guys have to work really hard to catch the job.
Placements: The placements are average here. The students don't get any fancy packages to start off with because the companies come out here to hire staff that will work for them in 10-15k, so it is very annoying to study hard and get such campus placements. I would say better enjoy the bachelors and find work on your own hardship.
This college is good and one of the faculty members here teaches very well. All facilities are available in Pillai college and the crowd is excellent. But the bad thing is that in the office, all work is very slow if you need result and certificate all these things. They just tell you to wait for a longer time. If you have any problem regarding certificate, exam and all even the faculty members do not help you. Otherwise, the life here is very good.
Placements: The placement cell at Pillai is very good, as many companies come there and everyone gets a good enough package. I have heard and also met people who have had interviews at Pillai and who got packages at Pillai. I have heard of people getting a starting salary of 5 LPA, which is pretty good for a starting salary.
Placements: It has an active placement cell that provides all the possible opportunities for its students, including jobs and internships. The big companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. have been very actively recruiting students, with engineers having an average package of INR 5 LPA.
